    Cajun Pasta
    Gin Y.

So, this spot has become an option in our "no cook" dinner nights. Their fried and grilled fish were seasoned well and delicious. Their garlic bread was just ok, and their hush puppies were still kind of too sweet. But, my family's go to dish lately has been their Cajun pasta. They gave us a generous amount of chicken, shrimp, and bell peppers. Their pasta was also plentiful with good texture. We could taste the Cajun spices coming through. I really enjoyed the creaminess and the tomato sauce undertones in this pasta as well. It's not much to look at inside. But, most people come here for quick takeout food. Overall, my family and I enjoy the food here. We still have to try out their poboys and etouffee next time.

We ordered the Cajun pasta, fried catfish and grilled redfish. The Cajun pasta was creamy without being over indulgent. It had notes of tomato and tasted similar to a vodka sauce. The fried catfish was moist and crunchy. The overall flavor wasn't as pronounced as the pasta. The grilled fish was a little fishy. The flavor was stronger than the fried catfish though.

Ordered Fish Place via Uber eats and I'm not quite sure how "Fish" can be in your business name, and you cook it so poorly. I ordered the fish and onion rings and my husband ordered a shrimp poboy. The fish was nearly inedible. I have no idea what "particular fish" this was, as they did not state on the Uber menu, but I'm positive it's a low quality, more than likely swai. It was over cooked, hard and the breading they use is a strong miss, in both flavor and texture. Onion rings were hard and tasted as if they used the same grease they fried the fish in. They give you a stake piece if garlic bread for what is unclear but I ended up throwing it away. The poboy was NOT much better. There are so many places in the area, Eat here at your own risk. Quite frankly I'm surprised they have any stars. Would never go back.

This was my 1st visit in a long time. I must say my fried fish dinner was delicious. Even the fries were seasoned to perfection. The fish wasn't over cooked and dry. I don't normally post reviews, but I frequently rely on reviews to determine where I'm going next.

I tried the fried shrimps tacos and it did not disappoint! 4 tacos for about $10 and man they are not cheap with the shrimps. It was filled loaded and their sauce is bomb!

My order was for one of the lunch specials which was a cup of seafood gumbo and 1/2 poboy (crawfish) with fries for $15. The seafood gumbo was very good tasting with a rich roux taste but it had 2 or 3 shells in it. The 1/2 po boy was the same with quality bread, fried crawdads and dressed well. The fries are also always a winner. Deb was my waiter and was very professional. I've had this lunch at the other locations and it was equally good. I like Floyd's and believe they serve very good seafood. I wish their regular dinner entrees weren't so expensive. Drinks came out, then the oysters -- and right after serving them, she told us that was the last batch and they were out. Seemed strange given their menu has several baked oyster options, but we figured maybe they'd genuinely run low. The dining area feels like an old diner with a bar on one sides. Outdoor seating looks fun on a cooler day with some tv to watch sports. A little later we noticed other tables getting oysters, so we asked a different server. She said they'd likely just gotten backed up with orders, then came back and confirmed they'd brought out another sack and we could order more. Right on cue, our original waitress reappeared asking if we wanted more oysters -- the same ones she'd just told us were gone. When we pointed out the contradiction, she flat out denied ever saying they'd run out. Food-wise: raw oysters were just okay, fried pickles were decent, and the wings were actually good. I was open to coming back to try more of the menu, but the service really soured the experience. Being upsold or brushed off with an obvious lie isn't a good look. A lie on top of a lie did it for me. I hope they train their server's better.

The space itself is massive with plenty of indoor seating, so even with the usual Sunday crowd, we got a table without any long, drawn-out wait. The atmosphere is completely laid back, loud, and smells like pure garlic and butter the second you walk through the door. For the main event, I went with the Combo #10, which comes loaded with a half-pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of headless shrimp, a half-pound of sausage, three boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. I opted for the signature Juicy Crab seasoning at the hot level. My baseline for heat is naturally pretty high, and while this didn't have me sweating, it had a legit, beautiful kick with serious depth. It wasn't just mindless spice; the garlic-heavy cajun blend was firing on all cylinders, and every single thing in that bag was perfectly saturated. The crab was sweet and slid right out of the shell, and the sausage added a great smoky contrast to the seafood. Because we clearly have no portion control, we also shared the shrimp fried rice. Usually, side dishes at boil joints are a dry afterthought, but this was surprisingly elite. It was savory, packed with a generous amount of shrimp, and served as the perfect canvas to pour the leftover bag juice over. By the end of the meal, the table was a complete disaster, but the flavor and execution were top-tier. I will absolutely be back to handle business again.
