The steak fingers were also really good, and I had to try the chili cheese fries, which did not disappoint! Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be coming back soon. I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

I honestly didn't think it lived up to the hype. Sorry. It was good but it didn't blow me away as the best chicken salad I've ever had. Nonetheless, I had it with my "Ann's Plate" which is a scoop of chicken salad, fruit salad, and a cup of soup. Its just enough food to get you full, but light enough to not make you FEEL too full. However, that cold avocado soup-- wasn't great. I wanted to like it because it was 100 degrees out and figured on a hot day, it would be cool and refreshing. I think that was the idea behind it but the execution wasn't there. Service-wise, no problems there. The staff is friendly and works really hard, since this place is pretty busy and popular at all times of the day, at seems! Definitely a neighborhood favorite and the locals love it.

It was self seating but the way the rooms are split up, we weren't 100% sure where we were allowed to sit and no one was in the front greeting anyone as they come in so you couldn't really ask questions unless you go to the bar first which was located towards the back. The tables were all dirty so we picked the least dirty table which still had crumbs all over it but we just tried to wipe them away as best as we could. The customers who came in after us picked the table next to us which was dirty as well but their server went and wiped it down for them which was nice. Our server was kind and answered all of our questions and we did inform her it was our first time so she suggested a few appetizers and we started with French Onion Dip. It was TO DIE FOR! The tortilla chips it comes with were perfectly crisped and salted and it hit all the right flavors. The food? Oh my word. The servings are MASSIVE. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak with a side of onion rings and it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken Cobb salad with a side of their Brussel sprouts. The chicken Cobb salad came with two small scoops of chicken salad and it was so light and refreshing and nothing like any other chicken salad I've ever had! Our server brought me a little bit of Parmesan cheese to top off the Brussel sprouts with and it was so good. All in all, the food was a hit! I wish I remembered to try the broccoli and cheese soup so we will be back in the future. Definitely recommend. We don't understand how Sandy McGee's only has a 3.7 rating after trying this spot out!

The chicken was thick and juicy, just how we like it, and the powdered sugar with strawberries on top really held that nice, sweet and savory fix I needed! Have never seen it this way so we were kinda surprised. It was not terrible but won't order it again. It came wth a very large side salad. Also ordered a cup of the potato soup. It was very runny and unfortunately not a potato to be found. Also would not order again. Their daily specials seem to be a good deal. Their menu has quite a selection as well. Definitely want to try their breakfast!

They do an excellent job in trying to accommodate everyone and they made an effort to regularly check in. This place has that woody, western vibe to it. She took our drink orders, food orders and then everything seemed to fall apart. She returned several times, but mentioned that she was tied up handling several large drink orders and that was the last we saw of her. The food was delivered by other servers. As you can see, the fried catfish fillets were burnt on the outside, but the fish was undercooked inside and had raw (uncooked) portions inside. Not a pleasant surprise. We later learned that Lexus had left for the day and we were left on our own, so to speak. No drink refills for the nearly three hours we were there. Finally, we had to get up and find someone to help us and get our checks. When I was able to pay I requested a receipt, which I never received. Lastly, when we were leaving, someone was mopping the walkway and left puddles of water in the walk, which posed a slip hazard for our group of elderly individuals. When we told a server about the water in the walkway, she told us that she knew it was wet, because she just mopped it. Not an answer you want to hear. All in all, a very unimpressive experience.
