10/10 food. We came in on a weekday at 11am - within 25 minutes, there was lunch rush and immediate restaurant got packed along with parking. You order at the counter and seat yourself. First time here, prices are decent - got 2 burgers and 1 chicken sandwich, shared regular fries and a chili cheese fry. The burger my mom had was a bit salty - it was basically the double patty cheeseburger. The CHICKEN SANDWICH.... i would solely go back just for that sandwich!!!!! it was delicious. It's way better than chick fil a sandwich - the batter of the chicken and the crunch was amazing - tender too. The restaurant probably seats no more than 20 people and parking is tough - probably no more than 6 spots in the parking lot. This is a small burger shop with amazing burgers! I thoroughly enjoyed disassembling a Bam burger combo wit' a fried egg added to it. The Bam burger consists of one beef patty, lots of thin sliced bacon, cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and mustard...adding the fried egg put it even further over the top. The combo comes with some killer french fries and a canned drink with a cup of ice....couldn't do the fries justice 'cause i was too full of Bam burger. The parking lot might be small, but I slid right into a spot like it was meant to be. Inside, it's cozy, order at the counter, grab a seat, and they'll bring the food right to you. They've got solid burgers, various toppings to add on, chili cheese fries, hand cut fries, and teas. I had an Ol Tymer with jalapeño, with fries, and a unsweetened Joe's Tea. The tea was good, unsweetened black tea. Food came out within 5-7 minutes, the fries and burger came hot and fresh. The burger was seasoned well, juicy, and was dressed in fresh veggies, on a toasted potato bun. I also tried some chili fries my friend had ordered, they load it up on the seasoned chili and melted cheese, so delicious. The buns look to be homemade and aren't too bready. Yall when I say the burger is seasoned well, I mean it's I usually need ketchup on my burger. Need, not want. But this one didn't even need ketchup. No condiments period, because the meat itself was so so flavorful. My husband and I shared an order of fries and it was too much even for both of us. I wish the fries were a little crispier, but they were seasoned well. The inside is pretty bare, but they really don't need much. Decorations include a lopsided neon burger sign and honestly, that's all they need. I did the combo with fries and a can of soda. The burgers are really delicious, the bun is soft but holds together, and they do grilled onions which are soooo good. I was unsure what I wanted and the staff was able to help me make a choice between the Nelly's Burger and the BAM Burger. I went with the Nelly's burger and was not disappointed. Drinks are can drinks and bottled water. If you drink a lot with your meal you may want to purchase extra drinks up front. I was hoping for some ice tea but that was not an option. WORTH IT. MAKE THE STOP. I'm a big burger person and Best Burger and Five guys are my go to places especially when I wake up with a hangover. This is definitely going to be my new go to spot. In the last month, I've been to this burger joint twice and each experience has made me a bigger fan. The restaurant opened about three months ago and is a rather small eatery in a quaint parking lot that holds about five cars. There is a small shopping center across the street, where I saw other people parking, but I'm not sure if they approve. My favorite burger is the "Ol' Tymer." This burger comes with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, and mustard. I added cheese, nixed the tomato and mayo, and added home cut fries + a canned soda as a combo for an additional $4. That's a total of $10.95, which is more than a bargain. In the infamous words of Samuel L. Jackson's character, Jules Winnfield (Pulp Fiction), "This IS a tasty burger!" Whatever spices they're adding to the burger patty makes it the host of the flavor party! And that bun? I asked if it was a potato bun, because it had the consistency and yellow hue, and I was told that the buns are freshly made at a local bakery. They have some nice buns! Not to forget the fries. My associates and I contend that there could be more in the basket, but the spices added to them make them nice co-hosts to the burger. There are a couple of menu items that I want to try, but on my next visit my eye is on the Nelly's Burger. I came to try this place out at the recommendation of a friend who swung by last week. He was claiming they were excellent, so of course I'm going to give them a shot. I couldn't find many details online, so I just drove over. The place is a bit hard to get to, and the parking lot is tiny and extremely tight. Not a good first impression. They have their menu posted everywhere, which made it easy to locate what I wanted to order. I placed my order and took a seat. They were clearly either overwhelmed or just a bit disorganized. A lady brought me the wront order, which I thought was just 1/3 of my order until another customer complained that he hadn't gotten his item. She also dropped a dine in order to the wrong guy and had to take it to the correct table. At some point, they managed to lose my order (among five customers total in the venue), so they came to my table and took the order a second time. Altogether, it took over 30 minutes to get burgers and fries. I was satisfied with my Bam Burger, but tbe others I bought for the rest of my family (a Nelly and an Ol Tymer) were underwhelming. They definitely use high end ingredients, artisan buns, and fresh ground beef, but they don't cook patties to order and each of the three burgers were cooked to a different done-ness. I believe they said this was only their third week in operation, so I guess they're still working out the kinks. They definitely have the passion and ingredients to make something great. If they can step up the consistency and customer service, they might be able to compete with some of the other burger joints in Stafford. read more
