Love donuts and love mochi type of donuts. It's airy, doughy, sticky from the mochi, overall different type of texture. Mochi donuts have a more elastic type of airy bubbly dough and it's good. Overall good taste treats but it's a little expensive 6 mochi donuts for $17/18 is a lot. Each donut is carefully hand crafted so sweet and sugary.

Great service! We tried the drinks first and will come back for the mochinut donuts and the famous Korean rice sticks. Drinks were delish and I got to keep my dairy free diet! Cute walls and decorations. Clean tables too! And yes for the military discount!!!

Came here for boba and was very happy! The shop itself is super cute! Staff was friendly and helpful as I was unsure what to order.

NW Austin/Cedar Park finally gets a Mochinut! This is technically their third location for Austin (one closed with the closing of Hana World). They are still in their soft opening. The mochi donuts are consistent with other locations I've been to with the same familiar chewy texture and fun flavors. They also have corn dogs and drinks on their menu. The staff were very polite. I'm glad that they've expanded to this part of town. I can easily get a sweet treat after doing some shopping at H Mart.

Wife and I came in here some time ago and tried out their mochi donuts. The few we wanted to try were unfortunately taken by the time we were able to order, but the ones we got were really good (raspberry, churro and s'mores). The only thing that really bothered me was that we were waiting in line and the cashier just helped out a guy who strolled right in and cut past all of us. But for me the mochi donuts are what I cared about at the end of the day and I'll still recommend those.

Cute spot hope to be back. Not many donut variety like other donut shops but definitely something different for the taste buds.

Just to be clear, I AM somewhat of a subject matter expert. I have eaten all manner of fried dough creations from coast to coast, including Hawaii, and I have a lot to say on the topic. My favorite is still Cider Belly in Albany, NY, but I digress. The PB&J donut here is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I dragged it out for 3 days. Even semi-stale, and reheated in the microwave, it was still delicious. I put a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on it which definitely helped. I also ordered a Heavenly Hash (one of my favorite ice cream flavors BTW) and a Naughty and Nice because I am all about the classics. They were both outstanding. No leftovers. I bought these donuts in lieu of birthday cake this year which may become my new tradition. Honestly, I think these are my new favorite donuts in Austin now.

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

The audacity Story time, Today I went to the original Round Rock location, downtown Round Rock, to buy my son's birthday donuts, It's tradition. Every year on his birthday he gets a dozen half glazed and half chocolate frosted donuts. Then I get a kolache and a dozen donut holes for myself. Well when I pulled up today the line was wrapped around all the way to Mays street. So I just followed the line of cars and got in line. You'd think that a line that long would take a long time but.... Round Rock donuts has this process down to a T. It took less than 10 minutes to get through that line and get my order. And those donuts came out hot and fresh. So did my kolache. Anywho, Don't let the lines scare you away, Just jump in and know they're going to move quickly. Also, If you're planning an office event or any type of event and you want donuts and coffee or kolaches donuts and coffee, Round Rock donuts offers a great menu for large orders and also they have a cake menu for custom cake orders. If you don't want to stay in line in your car you can also park wherever you can find a spot and go to the walk-up ordering window, It's shaded and there's plenty of space to hang out while your order is being made and brought out to you. All this to say, It's a Round Rock Donut, Happy Birthday to my Son!

Today I showed up about 6:20 am and bought 9 dozen glazed. Per habit, I opened a box before driving off, anticipating the melting in your mouth experience I treasure. But the donut I chomped was ... COLD. I checked my other boxes too--every donut cold. Shockingly, a store employee told me it's the bakery's practice to give chilled donuts to customers because that preserves them longer. That's not for me, I replied, and the store swapped out my coldies for delightfully warm replacements. I hope the employee was wrong about this cold donut "practice."

The donuts themselves were a bit of a letdown, though. Ours were a little stale -- now, in fairness, we did roll in later in the afternoon, so that might've played a part. But here's the thing: I'm a HUGE donut person. I can eat a donut basically any time of day, no matter how long it's been sitting out. So for them to fall a little flat, especially at the prices they're charging, I was expecting a bit more. That said, it was a nice place to sit and take a break while we were wandering around downtown. Would I make it a regular stop? Probably not -- but if you're on vacation and want to check it out for the experience, it's worth a peek.

Why am I going to one in Austin? Well, it's because I am a completeist and I try to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Austin has two locations but Steve was only willing to tolerate going to one location so we went here. The doughnuts are going to be about the same as any other location however I did come across one that I haven't seen before. I am not sure if it was limited edition or what but I liked it. It was kind of take on a Black Forest Cake but it wasn't cherries that were on top of the doughnut and cream. It was more like blueberries. It was good and I am glad I tried it! I was really hoping to see the Ring of Fire Doughnut as it's my favorite but I didn't see it here. I got more of a powdered doughnut too as I do like their more basic doughnuts too. Steve got something that almost was like a Dubai-esque Chocolate Doughnut. It had pistachios on it and was a chocolate cake. That one was good too! Atmosphere is weird and quirky like all of their locations try to be which I can appreciate. So if you are addicted to Voodoo Doughnuts or have been wanting to try them but don't plan any PNW trips then definitely swing by the Texas locations. More and more locations are popping up all of the time!

Parking is limited -- only a few narrow spots outside. Okay wow. The ube ice cream here is out-of-this-world. Came here with my hubby and two toddlers and we got one cone to share (the kids just get a little bit). This is usually enough but I felt like I wanted MORE. It was so creamy and flavorful. We kept it simple -- fish cone with nutella and ube soft serve. We had the option of swirling it with a milk tea ice cream but it had a little bit of caffeine so no good. Glad the choice was made for us -- the ube was perfect on its own. Also happy we skipped the toppings since the creaminess really came through. They sell mochi donuts too -- they were pretty good but not as good as the ice cream. Parking is limited but we had no issue snagging a spot at 430pm on a Sunday. Only a few narrow spots outside (no official lot). Full disclosure -- both my daughter and I had tummy aches after eating this ice cream and you know what? I have zero regrets! It was that good.
