    Dubai chocolate cheesecake
    Lindsey P.

I can't even use words to explain how amazing the Dubai chocolate cheesecake was. It was so rich in flavor and had such a good depth to it. The cheesecake's texture was perfect, not too light but not dense, and the phyllo dough crust was very interesting. I suggest waiting a few minutes after getting the cheesecake to let it warm up slightly and add moisture to the crumbly bottom so that it's softer and doesn't feel as "textured" if that's the word for it. The atmosphere is really nice! Cool furniture, nice colors. The service was very efficient as well. Great vibes and will most definitely be back for the cheesecake! Next time (hopefully it will still be in season) I want to try their peach foam tea drink.

The matcha was really good, and I loved being able to tell the cold foam was fresh with the banana chunks mixed in. The ambiance inside was very relaxing, but I do wish there was more seating available.

Came because I saw this place on TikTok and they said Mocha Point had the best Matcha. I stopped by when I was in the area. I got my drink and a baked good to go. The inside of the café, it was super cute. Lots of tables and open space for working or catching up with friends. They had a lot of yummy looking baked goods to choose from. I got the Matcha X Matcha from the 2026 winter menu. It was the perfect amount of sweet but still being able to taste the Matcha, which I really appreciate. I also got a cherry danish that was soo good. And if you tried love to try a flavored Matcha or some of their coffee. After I ordered the drink and pastry came out super quick, which was really exciting. Sometimes small cafés take a while to make drinks, especially Matcha. I will say the barista was nice, but not super friendly or talkative. I might've asked some more questions about the Matcha options, but it didn't seem like she wanted to have a conversation. I get not everybody is super chatty and she was a good barista, but I think being a little bit more outgoing makes a barista great. Overall 10/10 will be coming back if I'm in the area.

What a lovely little spot! I stopped by with a friend recently and got the banana cream matcha and the biscoff cheesecake. Both were super delicious. The pastries and desserts here all look wonderful. One thing to note is that Mocha Point is open later than the typical coffee shop, which is a huge plus if you're looking for a refreshing drink or baked good in the eventing. Another location is opening up soon closer to the city as well.

I love Mocha Point!!! Had a strawberry cream blend (with banana) and it was so delicious. It's like a very tasty smoothie. Their desserts looked so good too but unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet. Definitely need to come back for that. I also like that they open so late. They close at 12am which is amazing for a coffee shop. Their store is so lovely as well, the vibe fit perfectly with the rest of Historic St. Charles downtown.

Lovin' all the fall! I made two trips in the past two days to my favorite coffee houses. Staff are amazing and always friendly. First visit was following a crazy day at work, I needed (yes "needed") some comfort. So I grabbed a pumpkin chai latte and a piece of red velvet cheesecake. It was exactly what my brain and heart needed. Second visit was this morning. After seeing the FALL drink list, and wanting to have fortification for my work day, I ran by and grabbed drinks for me and my fellow office mate. She opted for the pumpkin Latte with oat milk and I went with Salted Date Banana Latte. Mine comes on ice only, I normally go for hot because I feel the flavor is better, but I said yes. GLAD I did. It has more of a banana flavor than date, but it is not over powering. Worth a try if you like bananas. They have new cups, loving them. The lid has a cap and it helps keep everything warm during commute to the office, and keeps it from spilling. Stop in and check them out if you have not, or try the fall menu if it is one of your favorite haunts. They also have coffee and chai mixes available, so you can enjoy it at home too.

I was excited to try Yemeni coffee and was not disappointed. I had a pistachio latte and the coffee was so flavorful, a mixture of spices and fruits. My husband had a banana cream latte and enjoyed it. We tried the honeycomb bread and a chocolate danish. The honey comb bread was so light and fluffy and drizzled with honey. The honey added just a touch of sweetness. If in the area again, I would be interested in trying their matchas. The coffee shop has a variety of seating, tables with chairs and comfy couches. A great spot in historic St. Charles!

I've been looking for an authentic middle eastern coffee shop and Mocha Point hit the spot. Busy Sunday morning but we were able to sit outside which was nice.

Once again. Amazing. It's just stupid good. Try it all. Sometimes I have to get a coffee and a matcha of their seasonal choices since I can't decide. Just go

Nice and cozy place with good foods. They have a nice selection of desserts. One of places to stop by if you happen to be around St. Charles downtown

I haven't tried their coffee yet but the matcha is not too bad. I know my friend has tried their coffee before and recommended this place to me. It's close to the climbing gym I go to so I would definitely frequent this place. Staff is friendly and service overall is quick. I did get a free baklava one time too (it was good but I'm not much of a sweets person so I found it sweet!) Only limited seating inside and it does get loud so not really an ideal place for quiet studying. It's also nice that they close late.

I have to give another 5 star review to one of my favorite coffee shops!!! Had a morning date with a friend here and it was the perfect place to catch up. The employees always are so kind. Today they recommended the Spanish latte and it.was.incredible.

    Yemeni coffee and honeycomb bread
    Mariel T.

Got Yemeni coffee and honeycomb bread delivered and it was a nice surprise! I had never tried Yemeni coffee before, but one delicious 16 oz got me through my long work day. It's like a brown sugar/spice mix flavor, that was unusual but fantastic. The honeycomb bread was good, but I'm sure it would have been better fresh had I been able to go in!

People clearly love this place. At 8 AM on a Sunday morning, there was already a pretty good crowd…read more I've been doing meetups at local coffee shops for the past several weeks, and sometimes it's kind of a ghost town, even if the food and coffee is good. I'd suggest that people were there to visit downtown St. Charles, or whatever it's called, which has a certain old-timey charm to it, but everything else was closed--presumably until later in the day, but who knows. That fentanyl is a menace. Parking could be a pain, if it's not the wee hours of the morning on a weekend, and you're not ambulatory enough to walk from a block or two over, and yet you're going to get essentially the equivalent of a milkshake and a donut. Inside is rustic, inviting and larger than you'd think, with an upstairs area that I didn't bother to explore, due to lack of curiosity. We had a larger group and ended up pushing a few smaller tables together, plus a few chairs we borrowed from other tables. No one seemed to mind. The key is not to ask first. That mentality will take you far in both the world of finance and dating. I'm kind of over ordering food from coffee shops, where they're obviously just throwing something in the microwave and charging you $10 for it, but I needed something to eat. I'd just gone for a run. Their burrito looked like the textbook definition of cultural appropriation, but it also looked like it might not be half bad. I had their equivalent of an Egg McMuffin, called Ron's Breakfast Sandwich, or something to that effect. When I hear the name Ron, I of course think of Sasso from Carlito's Way, but that probably says more about me than anything else. I'm assuming he didn't have anything to do with this. Essentially, this was a store-bought English muffin, a surprisingly generous and delicious helping of cheddar cheese, a few slices of seemingly prepackaged black forest ham and a fried egg. It was fine for what it was. Could the egg have been salted, could the muffin have been buttered and could the ham been an actual slice of Canadian bacon, or even better, American bacon? Sure, but I went into this with low expectations. The cheddar was melty and delicious, and weirdly abundant, but processed American cheese would have been more fitting for this kind of sandwich. You'd think a guy named Ron wouldn't object to processed foods. The caramel frappe I had was amazing. I got it with whole milk and whipped cream. I didn't bother to check and see if they charge you extra for whipped cream, which is the kind of crap some of these places have been known to pull. I got the 16 oz instead of the 20 oz, but it was probably still enough to take a day off the end of my life (when I don't need it as much anyway fwiw). Sometimes, when a food item tastes good enough, you can just tell it's not good for you, and that was the case with this drink. It was decidedly rich. I'm never in this part of town, and if I were, it would be at night, natch, but if things ever get to the point where they're clearly trending in that direction, I might start stopping by on the reg and getting that caramel frappe just to speed along the process of my demise.

So peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect start to our morning! What truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Jenn. She was incredible from start to finish!! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times, and went above and beyond in ways you don't see often. My husband is picky about biscuits and gravy, and Jenn kindly brought him a sample of the gravy first to make sure he'd like it...such a small gesture to some people, but truly made it special for my husband. She even sent us off with coffee to go, which we really appreciated!! The food was just as impressive. I had the traditional breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were nice and crispy, Jenn recommended the ham, which was so flavorful and perfectly charred, so good!!! My husband ended up loving his biscuits and gravy! Between the amazing service, delicious food, and relaxing riverfront setting, this was easily one of our favorite breakfast experiences. Jenn truly made it memorable, and we'll definitely be asking for her every time we come back. Can't wait to return!!

What a charming cafe in the middle of a charming Downtown area!…read more It was freezing the morning we went in, but I was wanting breakfast - specifically pancakes. I had this place in the bookmarks and figured now was the best time to visit. Parking can be an issues in Downtown St. Charles since it is limited to street parking or public parking a few blocks away. We found parking right in front of FPC, mainly because it was a cold, Monday morning. We were greeted immediately, and inside was much smaller than I expected. We got seated right away though, and a good chance to really review the menu. I got a house coffee (delicious), and my husband got a Purple Haze Lemonade. We ended up getting a kid's pancake with bacon and scrambled eggs, Short Rib Breakfast Stack, and a Bomb Burrito. The pancake for my 2 year old was MASSIVE so it was a good day for him lol. The short rib stack was yummy - hash browns with runny eggs and meat on top. The burrito was also pretty good. Our breakfast entrees came with a side order of potatoes and while it was good, it got saltier over time so I might not get that next time. They advertise beignets, so we might go for that next time and try out their lunch menu!
