Taro Bun 香芋包, Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese egg tart) 葡式蛋撻, Taiwanese Bolo Bun 台式菠蘿包, Strawberry Matcha Latte 草莓抹茶拿鐵

After a few weeks of stalking their yelp page I decided to finally try it out today, and it was the BEST decision. From the moment I walked in I knew I had made a good choice because 1. The place smelled heavenly, and 2. Seven people flooded in behind me right at opening. I selected a taro bun, an egg custard, and a pineapple bun. All were still warm & tasted very fresh. My partner and I were so pleased that these pastries weren't over-the-top sugary sweet. Instead the sweetness is subtle & you can tell there's not a ton of refined sugar used. I got my partner a bacon egg sandwich which she said was amazing, it looked fantastic as the egg was more of a loaf and not greasy or fried. I got a chicken bahn mi that was perfect and the bread was fresh & soft. We got a taro bubble tea, and a strawberry matcha latte. Excellent choices as the taro tea is also subtly sweet and has a fresh taro texture. If you drink matcha on the reg you can tell this is top-tier quality matcha. The sweetness is customizable which I genuinely appreciate. One thing is for certain, I WILL be back to get my hands on that chocolate cherry loaf of bread Hoping there's a cronut to try when I go back. High quality, fresh, and healthy. Probably the healthiest bakery I've ever been in. Great work team!

The Foundry Bakery is such a hidden gem in Creve Cour offering yummy baked goods, some sandwiches, and a wide variety of coffee and boba tea drinks. The egg tart was so flakey and delicious, and I enjoyed trying a new sandwich with kimchi on it and a steamed egg I believe. They have seating to grab a light lunch or chat over drinks. I've been a little underwhelmed by the drinks I've tried, but the baked goods smelled delicious and make the place feel cozy as they put new options. Really cute, unique spot that's worth going out of your way to check out!

Quick search for a highly rated bakery to bring some treats to family. Found this spot, hidden in more of a residential area, in a quiet but small strip mall. For some reason, I expected a large selection of treats. It was a little different, but oh so wonderful. There were approximately a dozen different pastry options at the time of our visit. Clearly labeled, and each individually wrapped, you take a trey and it's self serve. We chose 6 different ones to try. When checking out, we were informed they are known for Portuguese egg tart. We didn't select this initially, but added one to our order. It was dense with over a100 flaky layers to create the crust. This was definitely a good recommendation. All pastries were continuously being replenished, coming out fresh and warm. They also have a coffee bar and some additional pudding style desserts in a case by the counter. Friendly and helpful staff, great service, easy parking, a pretty packed storefront, and flavorful fresh desserts for the win.

I recently was able to try the foundry bakery, and it was a great place to visit! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered some great suggestions and walked us through their Boba and tea options. They also have free Boba add-ons with almost all of their drinks selections, so that was pretty cool. In addition to the great drinks, they have some delicious bakery items including egg tarts, fresh bread, and traditional bun pastries and even though I didn't get to try the whole restaurant smelled nice and delicious because of the bakery items. So I definitely look forward to trying again in the future! This is a great place to potentially work away from home for the day. I think they have free Wi-Fi and it's pretty spaced out and offers a lot of seating, so you can have some time away from the house with a nice drink and tasty snack. They also offer breakfast breakfast sandwiches that seem to have some good and hearty selections. I can't wait to try more of their menu items in the future!

I went here today to grab a bite to eat. It's a cute spot for getting a drink, grabbing a treat or getting fresh baked bread for breakfast. You can even bring your laptop and get a little work done. I had a fruit tea with pineapples and a egg and bacon sando. You are the crafter of your own beverage, they have a variety of option's available from size, sweetness level ,and temperature to add ins such as fruit and boba, to the base you want to start with. I enjoyed my warm sandwich with crispy bacon, bib lettuce and fresh bread. It also had a steamed egg, ripe tomatoes and cheddar cheese with a honey Dijon sauce. There's parking right in front. Stop by and welcome The Foundry to the neighborhood!

It's such a hidden gem! The best bakery I have tried so far. They served a variety of baked goods, and I could still feel the warmth of the breads as I picked them up from the shelfs. The entire bakery was filled with bread aroma, and the ambience is quiet and really sweet. The bakery owner was very kind; he introduced us to some of the items and recommended a lot of their popular items like the egg tart. We ordered quite a lot of varieties, and our favorite was the taro moon cake and the matcha panna catta. They are so rich in flavor and not too sweet! I'll definitely come back and try everything off their menu.

We stopped in recently during a walk around town on a Sunday morning and it was delicious! I had never had Taiwanese food, but my GF had tried this place due to a Yelp event and I was so glad we stopped in.The workers were very helpful and our items were fresh out of the oven. The espresso drinks were delicious, too. The restaurant had a very cozy feel and it was a perfect brunch spot!

You know that awesome feeling you get when you go to a business and you can tell the owner is just bursting with pride? That's The Foundry! The owner is incredibly friendly and so passionate about what he does -- and with good reason. I almost never say the word "yummy" but after that first bite of egg tart I said "this is so yummy" like ten times in a row. The best way I can describe it is it's sort of like a sweet quiche but the crust is croissant. And if you're a GBBO fan, you'll be blown away by the lamination in that insanely buttery pastry. Yum! I also got the strawberry matcha with honey boba. The strawberry provides a nice, sweet counterpoint to the earthiness of the matcha and I also got some honey boba (free to add!) that made it feel really special and custom. Great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or to get some work done. I can't wait to go back and try more from the bakery!

foundry bakery is one of the most comforting bakeries i've been to. i love the unique style of grabbing your goodies fresh from the baskets! it's like your own mini shopping experience. there's been days where i'll sit and wait for 20 min as new goods come out. the inside is spacious and clean, with plenty of spots to socialize and study over baked goods! i live about 30 minutes from foundry, but always make the special trip for my favorite portuguese egg tarts. they're devilishly crisp, fluffy, and addictive. they house very unique bread flavors. a personal favorite of my is their chocolate cherry bread. if you want great hospitality, special pastries, and a cozy atmosphere, this is your place. i love how the family that runs the bakery honors their culture and show love through their food. highly recommended

I've had this spot in my list for a while and it's only a couple miles away from where I live! I will say, I did pass it the first attempt to go there because the signage was small and it was in an off strip mall. I came here in late afternoon and was happy they still had some baked goods to choose from. They have a "market" area with all the baked goods and some tables and chairs to sit and enjoy or to work quietly. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and shown all their baked good options along with their menu and daily specials. Such great service! I'm not one to order Matcha, but the strawberry matcha they had sounded amazing and everyone has been loving it. It was HANDS DOWN the best matcha I've ever had. I'll be coming here quite often for this matcha... So glad I got to finally try this place!

Chocolate cherry sourdough bread!

Weird limited hours, generic logo and a limited selection HOWEVER, this place is amazing! The chocolate cherry sourdough is not to be passed on! You can thank me later. You may even finish the loaf on your ride home! The crispy orange bun is buttery, flavorful and flaky and don't pass on the not sweet but utterly delightful lavender Yuzo cookie! Get here early for the best selections as they sell out quick!

Might try again later as we went at the end of the afternoon so there were limited bakery options remaining by the time we got there! From the very small shelves though it seems like there are limited selections to begin with and on the pricier end. The buns we did get were mild and plain. We also didn't order any of the milk teas or specialty drinks which seem to be popular here though. The space itself is small with only a few wooden tables.

The order came out quickly and I got some condiments (hoisin and sriracha) at the service counter. We ordered beef pho and shrimp lo mein, along thai iced tea and matcha milk tea. The drinks were okay! I could barely taste any matcha and it was very milk forward. I think the thai had a better flavor so I would opt for that next time. But food wise, absolutely loved the pho and that it came with fresh mint, bean sprout, and jalapeno. I also loved the broth! My husband's shrimp lo mein was also very good, but he had a lot of carrots in his lol My toddler loves noodles, so he liked both of our meals. Great spot for quick pho!

It really helped us to be able to make our decisions before ordering. We tried about 3 different jellies: lychee/coconut, aiyu is just sugar that has a flavor so we opted to pass once we asked right before trying it-it had a brown look to it. They do have a note that tapioca is not ready until 1030 AM each day. I ordered passionfruit with lychee with 50% less sugar with light ice. It was just right in sweetness. I like the tartness of passion fruit and that amount of sugar allowed for that with a slight sweetness. I loved that the seeds are in the juice. The drink was delicious.
