The outside view.

This was my first visit. There was plenty of parking on a medium sized lot. The entrance didn't look to be wheelchair accessible. The lobby is small, but I was greeted on entering. The girls behind the counter seemed sweet, but not knowledgeable about the flavors. I got 6 kolaches. The flavors can be a little bizarre, like a Mac n cheese with brisket, but the dough is sweet, so the sweetness makes it a bit more appetizing. I'll have to update as I try more of the kolaches!

Catered breakfast this morning from Saint Louis Kolache. Way better than what we had from Panera, not just in taste and such, but they were on time with it and it was a great looking spread. Donuts and kolaches. And if like me, you're not familiar with kolache, it's a stuffed and baked bread roll. We had a great variety of the breakfast classics - egg, sausage, bacon, ham, veggie. Plus apple, blueberry and raspberry. I did not eat an entire one, but I did try one and then ate the stuffing. Delicious, a little sweet, perfect food for eating while driving as it's entirely contained and not drippy. If I wasn't on a keto diet, I could see myself eating a half dozen of these delights. The savory - sausage gravy, bacon/egg/cheese, sausage/cheese

Small shop outside but big flavor inside! Kolaches are a a Central European stuffed pastry with a sweet dough. From Pappy's Brisket to Gooey Butter Cake, they have every option you cant think of here. Each location is independently owned and operated and they state they are "constantly experimenting with new flavors and combinations, and are not beholden to a corporate headquarters." A great local find

These kolaches are such a hit. There is a variety of savory as well as sweet options. I have had these a few times at work as they are easy to get in big boxes for events. I came here for the first time in person to get my own and I had a hard time deciding just a couple to get. The Merica kolache is my personal favorite because it has sausage eggs gravy and hash browns which I haven't seen before in other kolache shops. The prices are also fair for the quality and size of the kolaches. The staff was nice and they asked me if I wanted my kolaches warmed up fresh which was super nice. The cold brew that they serv is also great! I just wish they were open a little later because this is something I would eat at any time in the day!

Kolaches!

I love kolaches! They are like homeade rolls filled with comforting goodness! Went to this location for breakfast. I have signed up for their online rewards but never get emails from them :( I do get emsils from Kolache Factory and STL Kolache will sometimes match the coupon offer (when I've asked they say it depends on the coupon). During this visit I had 3 kolaches (bc i love them! 1 us actually plenty for a breakfast lol) sausage abd gravy, sausage egg & cheese and philly cheesesteak. They were all amazing! Its hard to choose they have so many tasty choices! Service here is average. The employees never seem happy to be there, but they are efficient and accurate with orders.

A nice location but many choices to choose from as I am used to the Cedar Rapids , IA kolaches taste than this similar bantam bagels New York style. Give this a place a try as tasted the salmon one which was good but tempted to come back. - I don't think so but I see many customers coming in as they got their taste buds for this place! My first and last possible but hurry for the locals!

2 Kolache's

Small grab-and-go place with a large variety of Kolache's in both sweet and savory varieties. A couple of seats. Kolache=dinner roll stuffed with some sort of filling. Have lunch and breakfast options. Can heat up the Kolache's. I tried the egg and cheese & the 'Merica (egg, cheese, breakfast potatoes, & sausage). The Merica I really enjoyed and was much better than the egg & cheese. Regular and decaf coffee.

Ham, Egg, Cheese and Jalapeno, delicious

This little place in St. Louis county is great for a good pick up for breakfast and lunch with great eats at a affordable prices with friendly service. You can't go wrong here.

I never have leftovers when I bring in other treats...

Gosh I think they hide their prices for a reason! Who displays a menu without prices? Is that even legal? Oh, my receipt, $30 for a dozen breakfast items?! Could this be correct? I better go back to bed: This is a nightmare!! Well the co-workers will like them. Or not. Half of them are sitting un-eaten. Never have this problem with donuts. Cost: Expensive Value: Meh

Not a single miss. The biggest standouts were the lavender yuzu berry cookie and the berry trio walnut bread. The cookie was incredibly well balanced -- floral, citrusy, and not overly sweet -- and easily one of the best cookies I've had in a while. It's also a pretty large cookie, so good for sharing... or not The berry trio walnut bread had great structure despite being packed with nuts and dried fruits -- really thoughtfully baked and especially amazing toasted. Overall, Foundry is a really great bakery. Absolutely worth the drive to try something new, and I'll definitely be coming back.

I think, I'm not certain, I think it started out as a ministry of the church and has become a full-blown coffee shop. There are items to purchase, like decorative items, the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable about their products, there were several people seated inside. There is the one seating area that's pictured, and then a separate larger room that seemed pretty full that day. Would be a great place for groups to meet to do a Bible study or something, nothing there demonstrates that has to be for Christians only. Love the touch of having a chalkboard where you can leave a prayer request. It's worth a recommendation if you're out and in that area!

I considered walking out right then and there, what really wanted to give them a chance since this was new to me. Upon ordering the cashier noted that the pretzel bun was out and so we switched it with wheat bread because they felt the ciabatta bread would be too much. Not even 10 minutes later another woman was ordering a sandwich and the pretzel bun obviously was out and they offered her that choices of other breads, and she said she wanted ciabatta and the same person said there was no ciabatta bread. We got our drinks and eventually our food. The atmosphere with customers had a low hum of conversation and laughter. The workers however, were quite loud and boisterous, minus the one young man who seemed to be doing most of the work and keeping to himself. For $13 I received the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant bun with chips. That's what they offer as the side. The croissant itself was hard and un edible. The chicken salad was OK if you like water down chicken salad. But when I spend $13 on a meal, I kind of expect something better than just mediocre. It lacked flavor. So for me, this was a one and done visit. I really enjoy a little café coffee shop places sadly this one has to go on the I will not return list.

Even though it was just the two of us this time, we were seated right away. As the hostess led us to a table in the back, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Erin was our server again. She's upbeat, friendly, and always welcoming with a smile. Erin does an excellent job staying attentive and making sure guests feel taken care of throughout the meal. We started brunch with coffee and water while looking over the menu. My wife ordered the Brussels and Eggs, and I went with the Belgian waffle with a side of hash browns. Our food arrived within about 15 minutes, and everything was fresh, hot, and very enjoyable. The service was phenomenal. Erin checked on us several times during our visit without ever being overbearing, which really added to the experience. I liked the whole vibe and dive bar feel of the place. The menu is very eclectic and clever, some items will give you a good chuckle. Music was good too! Food was really decent and and hugeee portion. I got the corned beef hash and scrambled eggs. I probably could've done without the scrambled eggs because it was drizzled with something on top of the eggs. I'm usually picky about my eggs to begin with and I didn't really eat it. But the corned beef portion size didn't equate to the eggs size. I was kinda left fishing for more corned beef. It was nice but had different flavor than I'm use to...not the southern taste I was looking for. But I still appreciated the meal. The drink was very very sweet, too sweet to enjoy. The viscosity was also a bit off.
