Good food, great coffee, and the best vibes. I love this locations atmosphere. Always fast service too!

Went to this coffee shop recently and have to say the vibes at this place are immaculate. From the furniture to the wall art this place is such a vibe and a great place to meet up for a friendly get together. However, when it comes to the coffee I was not that impressed with the taste and especially the price. I will say I only got one thing and so I can't judge a whole taste on one thing I got but the price is very high especially for coffee. They also do not allow you to have regular black coffee poured over ice and make you purchase cold brew which is slightly annoying since it cost more. The staff were very friendly and this place you 100% go to for the atmosphere (just not necessarily for the coffee).

Cute little spot to get work done! Coffee was reasonably priced! Wish they had a few more outlets though.

Hidden in middle of strip mall, there is a new Kaldi location with beautiful interior. Interesting to see many sofas and bar seating, loud so not the best studying environment. Drinks are excellent as expected.

Very nice, relaxing environment. Good quality coffee, probably the best I've had in St. Louis.

I considered walking out right then and there, what really wanted to give them a chance since this was new to me. Upon ordering the cashier noted that the pretzel bun was out and so we switched it with wheat bread because they felt the ciabatta bread would be too much. Not even 10 minutes later another woman was ordering a sandwich and the pretzel bun obviously was out and they offered her that choices of other breads, and she said she wanted ciabatta and the same person said there was no ciabatta bread. We got our drinks and eventually our food. The atmosphere with customers had a low hum of conversation and laughter. The workers however, were quite loud and boisterous, minus the one young man who seemed to be doing most of the work and keeping to himself. For $13 I received the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant bun with chips. That's what they offer as the side. The croissant itself was hard and un edible. The chicken salad was OK if you like water down chicken salad. But when I spend $13 on a meal, I kind of expect something better than just mediocre. It lacked flavor. So for me, this was a one and done visit. I really enjoy a little café coffee shop places sadly this one has to go on the I will not return list.

I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob, so I am always on the lookout for places that really know their craft and this one delivers. From espresso to cappuccino to lattes or even a simple cup of coffee, everything is done exceptionally well. It all starts with their exclusive blend of fresh coffee beans that are roasted locally and brought in fresh. You can taste the difference in every sip. Their blend is roasted to perfection and creates a consistently smooth and flavorful experience no matter what you order. The staff are friendly, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable about what they do. I have been especially impressed with Sarina, the manager, and Lynne, one of the baristas. Their attention to detail and care for customers really stands out. They make their own simple flavored syrups in house, which adds a fresh and unique twist to many of their drinks. The ambiance and decor make it a beautiful and relaxing place to sit, unwind, and truly enjoy your coffee. This is definitely a place I will keep coming back to.

Everything was delicious. The cookies and cream was a chocolate chip cookies with Oreos and it was probably the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a long time. I planned to order online and do a pickup but the Green with Envy sandwich I wanted is not listed on their online order menu so I had to go in person. I stood in line for about 20 minutes which was expected, I know how busy it gets. When you get to the front to order it is chaos. Someone comes and asks what you want and then just yells it to the rest of the team. Both myself and the person in front of me got to the register and our food was not even started because they couldn't keep up with the orders and nothing was written down. Just very disorganized considering how popular it is. It was decorated nicely for Christmas but that didn't distract from the service. The green with envy is delicious but it didn't travel well; it pretty much melted and fell apart by the time I got home. I also ordered a Greek goddess salad which was nothing special. The ginger cookie was delicious and a nice size. Hopefully some changes are made to make this place run better because otherwise it just really isn't worth the trouble.

Some place where I could print off copies of my zine about protecting the environment by committing minor acts of terrorism in America's forests? Turns out, it's a place where you can listen to truly random vinyl records while eating burritos entirely too good to be available in Clayton. Nothing about the latter says this part of town except for the price, which is almost like someone's cruel idea of a joke. I'd suggest that they're the best breakfast burritos available anywhere in the area, but what do I know? I've been eating breakfast burritos since the Reagan administration, when they were invented (as far as I know), but mostly of the microwavable variety. They have the potential to be the best food possible, because they combine the two other best foods, breakfast sandwiches and Mexican food, but no one seems to put any real effort into them. They're less likely than their lunch/dinner counterpart to cause gastrointestinal distress. People suspect that the reason Chipotle gives you the runs roughly every third time you visit is because of the cilantro, which is impossible to wash, but I heard it's really the lettuce. Never get lettuce on a burrito from Chipotle. If you're getting one of those bowls, why are you even going to Chipotle? You're probably already fat, and not eating a tortilla is not going to make a difference. But I digress. Upshot is primarily a coffee shop, and I think it's generally well regarded as far as that's concerned, though I'm no expert. I drink a nice, stiff six cups or so of whatever's on sale first thing in the morning and it usually ends up being the highlight of my day. I don't need any coffee in addition to that. I might get nervous. I've had luck lately with the seasonal selections at other local coffee shops that I've visited, so I figured I'd take my chances with an iced strawberry matcha latte. It seemed like it would be nice and refreshing after getting in a few miles with the homies, and damn it if it didn't hit the spot. You could see the actual seeds in it from where they must have crushed up an actual strawberry to make it, thus justifying the price, at least as far as they're concerned. They spared no expense with the burrito either. It's filled with surprisingly large chunks of bacon and avocado. Can they afford to give you more bacon because they don't cook it to the point where it starts to shrink? I like it when it's still kinda chewy, but I'm sure many would beg to differ. That must be how bacon is served in Clayton. They don't have the lovable old James bring it out to you, but I can understand, with this being 2026. It's not the lengthiest tortilla in the world, but it's stuffed to nearly overflowing with eggs, cheese, potatoes and what have you. I'd suggest bringing a date just to see if she could wrap her lips around it, but who's got that kind of money? It would have to be someone you've already been out with a few times, who's with the program, so to speak.
