Beautiful space, nice staff, and AMAZING matcha. I'm a lover of sweet matcha and this place hit the spot!

I was so happy to finally get to try Colombian coffee shop Zensia in Clayton. I ordered a honey shaken espresso, matcha specialty drink, and a mango smoothie for my kids. The drinks came out pretty quickly and were flavorful and delicious. The matcha was topped with lucky charms which my daughter thought was so fun. I also ordered the guava cheese bread as a snack but it wasn't my favorite. I would probably just get the regular cheese bread next time since there wasn't a lot of guava filling. On my next visit I definitely want to have an empanada!

Loved the chill vibe! They were busy and a little Slower because of it but service was friendly and the coffee, croissants were great! The filling in the empanadas were a little on the skimpy side but tasty. Convenient location, will return!

Great Colombian coffee in a charming environment. You can sit and stay a while, but it was to go service for me. Whenever I am in town for work, this is my go to coffee place.

Cute coffee shop in downtown Clayton! Coffee was tasty, a little pricey but nothing outrageous. They had a lot of pastry options and empanadas which looked good. The place is a little small so on a weekend it can be hard to find a place to sit but it's perfect for grab and go or if you're here alone. Might be tougher with a large group.

SO happy I came here. Found it through TikTok and came on a Saturday morning at 10. I had basically no wait for taking my order or getting my drink and lemon loaf. The sweetest lady took my order and chatted with me for a while. She told me about some upcoming classes they might be holding and took my phone number to let me know if they end up having the event!! The lemon loaf was AMAZING. It had the best texture and the best flavor, sometimes lemon things are too tart or strong, but this was perfect. The cortado was delicious as well. I sat inside and everything came out on the cutest little wooden tray with beautiful cup and plate. I would recommend coming here to anybody! The inside also had plenty of seating with tables and a lot of people were there chatting or studying, and it wasn't too loud to enjoy a nice conversation or to study. It is street parking but I found some easily not too far away.

I'm always coming back to Zensia for a chai latte with oatmilk! By far one of my favorite cafes in St. Louis. The workers (Gabby and Sydney) are super friendly and always helping me try new things (they give out samples every now and then). If you need a nice calm study spot or coffee chat, I highly recommend this place!!

Finally got to check out this coffee shop that I have heard many great things about. I must say the brew was not quite my cup of tea. I felt like the coffee flavor was not strong enough. A little on the weak side. Desserts and pastries however are the highlights for me. I tried the Pandebonos Colombian cheese bread and it was toasted on the outside and chewy on the inside. A plain and simple pastry but somehow so addicting to me. I also tried the Sweet Natas, a milk pudding desserts with some biscoff crumbs on top and it was sweet and creamy. Very similar to the Puerto Rican oat meal that I had. The ambiance was nice. I love the space. Perfect for work and chilling with friends. I do think their food is stronger than the their drink. I want to come back and try the other items on the desserts and pastries menu.

This is my new favorite coffee shop! It's Colombian based coffee and teas and also bakery items imported. The inside is beautiful with a lot of space and patio. When you walk in they greet you like family. They really explained the different coffees they have. The food items are really good as we'll definitely get the empanadas and the cassava bread!

went to have my productivity friday here and it was fine. the iced latte was fine. the inside of the coffee shop is very cute and everyone was very nice! minus points for only having paid parking around the shop and very slow wifi.

Coffee is good. Coffee is very expensive... possible to get a $10 coffee here. Baristas are not very friendly either.

This one did, so I walked over from the restaurant where we were after lunch. This is a very pleasant shop with lots of available seating. It just has a rather modern look, and it was very nice and clean. I came up to talk to a friendly barista. The pour over menu was a bit confusing because there wasn't a lot of information directly on the menu, I asked about one pour over because I had never tried a bean of that origin before. She had good things to say about it, but she said that, if I wanted something fruity or floral to try Haro Wachu from Ethiopia. It was as if she read my mind because I had been wanting to try a natural processed Ethiopian. I'm really glad I took her suggestion! It was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever tried. I didn't taste so much of a note of fruit in it, but I still loved it! I made sure to make a note of what it was in case I have room for more beans at home and want to order it. So, I do wish it was easier to tell what each pour over was in the menu (They have a lot at reasonable prices!). However, I left there thoroughly impressed with the coffee. If you are out on Delmar Loop, they are definitely worth visiting.

Some place where I could print off copies of my zine about protecting the environment by committing minor acts of terrorism in America's forests? Turns out, it's a place where you can listen to truly random vinyl records while eating burritos entirely too good to be available in Clayton. Nothing about the latter says this part of town except for the price, which is almost like someone's cruel idea of a joke. I'd suggest that they're the best breakfast burritos available anywhere in the area, but what do I know? I've been eating breakfast burritos since the Reagan administration, when they were invented (as far as I know), but mostly of the microwavable variety. They have the potential to be the best food possible, because they combine the two other best foods, breakfast sandwiches and Mexican food, but no one seems to put any real effort into them. They're less likely than their lunch/dinner counterpart to cause gastrointestinal distress. People suspect that the reason Chipotle gives you the runs roughly every third time you visit is because of the cilantro, which is impossible to wash, but I heard it's really the lettuce. Never get lettuce on a burrito from Chipotle. If you're getting one of those bowls, why are you even going to Chipotle? You're probably already fat, and not eating a tortilla is not going to make a difference. But I digress. Upshot is primarily a coffee shop, and I think it's generally well regarded as far as that's concerned, though I'm no expert. I drink a nice, stiff six cups or so of whatever's on sale first thing in the morning and it usually ends up being the highlight of my day. I don't need any coffee in addition to that. I might get nervous. I've had luck lately with the seasonal selections at other local coffee shops that I've visited, so I figured I'd take my chances with an iced strawberry matcha latte. It seemed like it would be nice and refreshing after getting in a few miles with the homies, and damn it if it didn't hit the spot. You could see the actual seeds in it from where they must have crushed up an actual strawberry to make it, thus justifying the price, at least as far as they're concerned. They spared no expense with the burrito either. It's filled with surprisingly large chunks of bacon and avocado. Can they afford to give you more bacon because they don't cook it to the point where it starts to shrink? I like it when it's still kinda chewy, but I'm sure many would beg to differ. That must be how bacon is served in Clayton. They don't have the lovable old James bring it out to you, but I can understand, with this being 2026. It's not the lengthiest tortilla in the world, but it's stuffed to nearly overflowing with eggs, cheese, potatoes and what have you. I'd suggest bringing a date just to see if she could wrap her lips around it, but who's got that kind of money? It would have to be someone you've already been out with a few times, who's with the program, so to speak.

Coffee is pretty consistent (similar to the other locations) with seasonal drinks and house-made syrups. I believe the food options are the same as well although I didn't try any at this location. Eventually, I'd run out of money and be forced to live out of doors, perhaps in a tent in the park across the street. It would almost be worth it. Kentzo Koffee is not without its flaws, but it's a good place to have a coffee ("koffee") and a light breakfast. It's not clear to me how long it's been around, but it's possible they have a few issues that just need ironing out. A guy from my running group who lives nearby was running down the litany of businesses that have been in this space. Is this location cursed? Was a Native American killed there? This is no fault of Kentzo, but there was some confusion as to whether the breakfast bowl comes with eggs. I could have sworn that it doesn't and that the menu made this clear, but a few members of my group, who are girls with whom I'm not inclined to outwardly disagree, insisted that it does. It seems like it should anyway, right? What's a breakfast bowl without eggs? You could just as easily have such a bowl for lunch. That's unacceptable. This place had umpteen baristas, including one dressed like she was working for tips in a place frequented by bikers (she looked amazing), but they were barely keeping up with orders. This was fine with me. I didn't have anywhere to be, and my drink--an iced vanilla latte, natch--was good when it finally came out. But this is not the kind of place to stop and grab a quick drink on your way to work. There was only one guy making food, as far as I can tell, and he was on it. He made my Breakfast Bowl w/ Bacon and brought it out before I got my drink. He warned me that the bowl was hot, but he was holding it with his bare hand. He must think that I'm actually *from* Maplewood. I had to have the girl who handed me my drink fetch my cinnamon roll. Were they supposed to hand it to me when I ordered? Were they hoping I'd just forget? The cinnamon roll was cold, like maybe it sat in a refrigerator overnight. It occurred to me that it almost certainly wasn't made that day, but it didn't seem particularly stale or prepackaged. It cost more than I paid for most meals in the pre-Brandon era, and it occurred to me that they could just give you a bit less, not charge as much, and I'd be fine with that. Did I devour the whole thing in a few bites anyway, like I just got out of jail? Yes. Yes, I did.
