    Biscuits and Gravy

Popped in on a Sunday for a last minute brunch. I've had my eye on this restaurant since they opened and it took me forever to fit it in. All the hype and we were just not too crazy about it. Hubby got the eggs and grits - it was good but just not great. I had the egg sandwich and felt the same way. Nothing spectacular. We also shared a biscuit and gravy. It was extremely salty, so we did not eat much of it. My wish was that they had their strawberry pop-tart (sold out) and that I would have tried the biscuit and jam. If I give it a second try, I might do lunch. We saw a couple sandwiches and salads go by and they looked really good. I will say that the latte is spot on - I would go back again to have another Brown Sugar Latte.

Sandwich with huge side of greens

I had a super delicious sandwich here. I didn't expect much when I ordered a basic turkey sandwich but it was so good. I wasn't going to eat all of it but it was so yummy I kept eating. I got greens on the side and the portion was huge. Very tasty as well. Cute place with a wall mural of flowers. I will say it gets loud in there - they could use some sound absorption panels.

The Clover and The Bee is a good brunch spot with a casual setup--you order at the counter, grab a number, and find your own seating. We split a cinnamon roll that was delicious and definitely worth getting. I ordered the roast turkey sandwich with mac salad. The sandwich was very solid, but the mac salad was too spicy for my taste. Overall a nice spot for a relaxed brunch!

Always the best brunch and atmosphere! I love love love this patio in Webster Groves. I usually go for the Strata, but switched it up this weekend and was definitely not disappointed. The fried mortadella sandwich changed our lives, do not let the simplicity of it in this photo deter you. The potato bun and jalapeño jelly on it are just the chefs kiss on top. The bagel & pistachio latte were both fabulous. The service is always friendly and speedy, which makes the whole experience even better!

We always love our time at Clover and the Bee! It's always incredibly clean, has great service, and the food is delicious. This was my first time for breakfast and I definitely recommend for all times of the day!

I usually go there for lunch/brunch but stumbled upon their cocktail/evening menu which is from Wednesday to Saturday. They had a nice happy hour with 1/2 of wine from 5-6 . The wine was tasty and the servers were helpful with choosing wine and picking items from the menu. One things that difffent at night is that patio there is used for O and O and pizza . They did not have that open at nighttime hours. But the inside was still a nice causal fun environment. We got the beef tar tar and it was so good, it felt melt in your mouth with a great taste !

    Cheesesteak

I've been wanting to try the cheesesteak at The Clover & the Bee for a while! I made it in on NYE and they were packed. I got the last table right by the door. The host sat me down with a menu and ice water but didn't mention you order at the counter. Eventually I figured it out. I ordered the Cheesesteak with the Cooper's Sharp cheese and pasta salad on the side. I asked if the pasta salad was a vinaigrette and the cashier said yes. This is the best cheesesteak I've ever had in St. Louis! Loved the bread, loved the ribeye, loved the cheese, peppers, etc. It was great. I'd order it again and again. I thought the pasta salad was awful. Also it was dressed in broken mayonnaise not a vinaigrette. I'll be back for the cheesesteak.

I was very excited when my friend suggested The Clover & the Bee for a Friday night dinner. I've had it on my list to try, but didn't realize they even served dinner. I couldn't find anything online with a menu. When we arrived, it actually wasn't dinner, but a menu of small plates. I love spending money on good food and will pay a premium for a memorable meal, but man, this wasn't it. TLDR: High prices for tiny portions to be left beyond underwhelmed and disappointed. I ordered a chorizo butter oyster to start. I love chorizo and oysters separately, but this was repulsive. I was most looking forward to the spot prawns, and felt misled when it hit the table. Spot prawns are supposed to be large, succulent shrimp. What arrived (for I believe, $16 or $18) were tiny, rubbery and overcooked, pieces of shrimp. Maybe it was a cut up single spot prawn, but this was beyond frustrating for the price paid. Next, I ordered the pasta (don't have the menu online to reference for how it was described). For again, $16 or $18, I received a single ravioli, that while beautiful, was flavorless and lackluster with not enough filling and under al dente pasta. Most of it was the flat, unfilled chewy noodle. The only positives about the experience was the atmosphere and my espresso martini.

You order at the counter then they bring your order to you. I ordered a chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. The chai latte was flavorful and tasty. The breakfast sandwich had egg, cheese and avocado. It was hard to eat it like a sandwich so I deconstructed it with a knife and fork. I enjoyed the fresh avocado. The egg tasted frozen that was reheated. This is a cute breakfast place that has a fun vibe.

3/12/26. On this chilly Thursday evening the lovely Red and I decided to try this absolutely lovely little establishment, nestled in Webster Groves along W Lockwood. A romantic ambience awaits. The coffee infused drinks and late evening snacks are fantastic the Charcuterie was really tasty and at a great price a real treat. Red had a latte that tasted as nicely as it looked. I had an excellent brewed coffee . Griffin was tending bar, waiter ,barrista an excellent at all ! The evening was one Red and I will fondly remember for quite some time to come. If you are looking fir a really nice place to enjoy a late evening cocktail some lovely snacks or an excellent coffee type drink I highly recommend you stop in at Clover and the bee you will not be sorry that you did. By the way, the prices are very reasonable as we had a Caramel latte, a coffee and the charcuterie board all for less than $30 dollars. Stop in and say hello to Griffin as Clover and the Bee are open until 10 Wednesday through Saturday.

    Tinsel Pom-poms & Santa Sleigh

We really enjoyed the Holiday Popup! The cocktails were great! I had the Tinsel Pom-poms and my husband had the Santa Sleigh. The food was also really yummy. We had the Baked Brie, Brussel sprouts, wagyu burger & porchetta roll. It was all excellent! The Clover & Bee has been decorated for Christmas & the wait staff was dressed very festive. There is some parking in a small lot behind & street parking

Breakfast Burrito, Biscuit and Jam, Green Goddess Salad
    Money F.

Popped in on a Sunday morning which was risky because of brunch hours. We were able to be seated at a high top table within seconds! The place was packed so if you have a party larger than 3, I suggest preparing to wait. We tried the breakfast burrito with beef and added avocado and honestly, I could do without the meat. it didn't add any flavor but the avocado was perfect. The biscuit is salty with a nice crunch but soft on the inside. The jam really pairs well. The green goddess salad was delicious!! Who knew blueberries would tie a salad together? Chefs Kiss! The banana pudding latte was well presented but the flavor was a bit bitter. There was some sort of purée in there bottom of the cup to give the pudding flavor but it wasn't enough for me. The airy, floral ambiance makes Clover and the Bee so cute and relaxing.

Great spot for a cozy study day. The service is super friendly, and both the food and coffee hit the spot. The interior is adorable--perfect for hunkering down with your laptop or catching up with friends. Bonus points if you stick around long enough to see it transform into a wine bar.

I had my first dinner of my stay at Olive + Oak, and it blew me away from the moment I laid my eyes on it. From the unsuspecting street outside, the giant windows glow with the warm, sparkling light from within. An elegant dining room with a beautiful bar and a good amount of hustle and bustle. I felt like I was at an upscale New Orleans joint. Very cozy. Service was just as beautiful. Our server was extremely nice, new the menu backwards and forwards, and rattled off the nightly specials without hesitation. And on top of all of that, when we were getting some stuff to-go, she threw in more bread for us! You can't train that level of service. That's just a good person. Onto the food. We started off with the Blue Crab Gratin (calabrian chili, celery + pretzel bread). This was ooey, gooey, cheesy, delicious, had a fair amount of crab in it, had a nice little kick, and the sliced, crunchy pretzel bread dippers were exquisite. Something seasonal that isn't on their menu anymore, we ordered an Okonomiyaki, which is a savory Japanese pancake, basically, covered in sauce. Wow, this thing was done well. Very reminiscent of the authentic thing I've had in Japan. Very nice. Another dish that isn't on the menu anymore, the Catfish dish. It was slightly Asian and on top of some sort of risotto rice. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was very well cooked, had a nice char. An eclectic dish that came together very nicely. I also got to try some of the Rabbit Crepe (port wine braised rabbit, blueberry, fennel, arugula + kenny's bleu gouda crepe). Some people might shudder at the idea of eating rabbit. Those people need to grow up. Rabbit is one of the most succulent, delicious meats out there, and in this wonderful flavor combination, in a crepe. This chef is genius. I could have downed two of these things. We finished off the night with the recommended Cloud Cake (vanilla chiffon cake, coconut pastry cream, coconut + whipped cream icing). This thing was de-ca-dent. A nice, thicc sponge, a very coconuty cream, and a whipped icing with lots of coconut pulp in it. So heavenly. Overall, my socks were blown off. Not only does St. Louis have good food, this was a better meal than I had in Nashville and Kansas City. Who would have guessed. I would love to come back.

The line was long and it was a little confusing with different counters giving you different things (coffee drinks, non coffee drinks and food). You seat yourself, we initially were asked to move from sitting in an outside space that apparently was connected to another restaurant. So we had to find and put together another table for 7. This wasn't the most conducive for eating with little kids nor groups. I probably wouldn't return with little ones or a big group, but it would be great for a solo brunch or small group of adults!
