Stopped by right before the crowd rolled in, and both bingsu were ready in about 10 minutes. As someone trying bingsu for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. The ice was soft, fluffy, and almost melt-in-your-mouth, while the cereal toppings added a fun crunch. The portions are huge and easily shareable. Overall, a refreshing dessert and a great first bingsu experience.
I love the comfy, but fun atmosphere of this place! You can order on a kiosk, but also order with a worker I believe. It can get very busy during peak hours, so be patient with the staff! We tried the Regular sized Caramel Biscoff bingsu (shaved ice) and it was the perfect amount for 2 people sharing. Their items always hit the right spot! I loved the taste of the Biscoff cookie crumble on top and the condensed milk is an excellent topping. It was delicious, and I can't wait to go back to try more of their menu options soon. Thanks!

I happened to stop in here as I was leaving the DMV and it was a nice, clean shop with reasonable prices. It's not the best milk tea I've had and came with unflavored boba but it was good. I like how I could order from the kiosk. The barista was very pleasant so I wouldn't mind going back if in the area.

The bingsu was really refreshing (probably also because it's been extremely hot out) and the fruit was really fresh too! We got a small bingsu and it was still a lot for two of us. I recently took a summer road trip with the family up to St. Louis, where our extended family live. We usually do an annual trip and I've never really experienced great Asian foods, but this trip was very different. I really enjoyed my Spoonful experience! The inside is very cutely decorated for the gram, which I wouldn't have guessed based off the location in the strip mall. They have a cute photo wall and it was very crowded, which tells me the bingsu is on point, which indeed it was. I got the individual sized mango bingsu, which if I recall correctly, their individual size is only available during the week. Every bite was flavorful and tasty. I would definitely come back and try some of their other flavors on our next family vacation!

I like the mango bingsu the most, not overly sweet at all. The taiyaki in the past only had two flavors. I did tried the red bean and Nutella, today I saw that they also added the apple cinnamon flavor. Today since I was already full from eating Korean food at the next door restaurant , me and my friend decided to just get bubble tea. Their price on bubble tea is fair. I got the whipped dalgona today and my friend got their tiger sugar. The level of sweetness that I get is seventy five percent here since I like sweet, fifty percent is perfect for my friend since she doesn't like her drink as sweet. The bubble tea is not something I would go here to get if I am not in the area since I had better. However for the bingsu, I will.
We didn't need the dollop of ice cream but it was delightful on a scorching summer day. The shaved ice is so light and fresh, you almost forget you're indulging in a dessert. We ordered the fruity pebble, small and it was definitely more than enough for two people and it was $11.99. We came in when there were three other tables filled with couples and we did have to wait awhile. Good thing we came when we did though because about 10 others came in shortly after we ordered. We sat a four top but moved since we did need that much space and there were bigger groups that came in. It was delicious and we will definitely be back for more bingsu! read more

Great spot!!! The sweet red bean taiyaki, the matcha boba, and the tiramisu bingsu are all phenomenal. So many flavor options for each. Super cute shop with a good amount of seating so you can stay and enjoy. Fair prices and good portion sizes. read more

Always a nice stop in to come here after JooJoo's or CM chicken. It's right next door. The staff is always friendly and attentive. As for food and drinks, I prefer getting the taiyaki here. I rarely get the bingso. I always do find a drink! I rotate between the peach tea with lychee and boba or the taro with boba or the regular milk tea with boba. Sometimes it gets really crammed on Friday or Saturday nights, so I wish they had more seating. But honestly people rotate through a lots, so it's not too bad. I heard they have another location in Edwardsville, so I hope to visit that one too! read more
Wow! They need a bigger spot for this joint. It's very super busy the whole time we got there & I know why. We ordered Bingsu which I've never had before but I will definitely be back to get more. I had the Biscoff & my husband has the cookies & cream. I'm pretty sure we got the mini but I think they gave us a small. Otherwise- the portions are huge. So cute inside, lots of seating for a group of 2-4 but not good seating for a large party. They offer more than Bingsu. You can find Boba Tea & some small pastry like bites. read more
Bingsu! Give me all the bingsu. I feel less guilty when I eat bingsu. The portions are much larger but it feels lighter to me. Just let me be naive. Such unique desserts! I had never tried (or heard of) bingsu before, so I was excited to try something new. It did not disappoint. I go the fruity pebbles bingsu. They offer sizes small and large, but the small is pretty dang large. It was a little pricey, too. I wish they would call that size "medium" and offer a smaller size. But it was still delicious - basically it is frozen cream that is shredded into tiny ice pieces. You can add condensed milk to it (please do) too. The texture reminded me a lot of Hawaiian shaved ice (like the real stuff in HI) but creamier. Very fun and pretty to look at. We also tried a Taiyaki - basically a waffle in the shape of a fish filled with something. We got ours with nutella inside. The waffle was so good!!! I've been to a lot of places that have waffles but they are really bland; there's was yummy and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Service was fine, the staff working was helpful. They have a little kiosk for ordering but it crashed when we almost finished and tried to pay so we just ordered with the person up front. They seemed really busy and it took around 10 mins for our order. The inside is pretty basic - a few tables for seating and the counter, kind of like a Coldstone Creamery layout. read more
Small but mighty! My friends and I came here after a lovely ramen dinner in the area, we were excited to have some dessert and maybe drinks! The Bingsu here is sooo good - it's like shaved ice, but with milk. It comes with a small side of condensed milk and a scoop of ice cream on top. The bowls are piled high - so instagram worthy and taste incredible! We had the biscoff one and strawberry one - both were awesome!! I also got a mango lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly and boba - really yummy and refreshing. My friend got a vanilla latte with oat milk which he really enjoyed! Can't wait to come back and try some other types of Bingsu and tea! read more

Super cute vibe with K Pop playing on the stereo. Quick and polite service! We asked the lady at the counter to surprise us and she added the mango popping boba to my mom's drink! She loved it! Taiyaki was made fresh, it was so warm, yummy and spongey. They also have online ordering available and an ordering kiosk in front of the main counter if you prefer placing an order that way. How am I just now finding out about this place? I'm always up for a new dessert place and I saw the reviews here and had to try it out! The online menu does a great job of explaining what each dessert is which is so nice for anyone who's never tried it! The menu has something for everyone and the flavor is unreal. I was recommended the Tira-Miss You Korean ice cream dish and was so wowed by the flavor and the whole process and texture of the shaved ice cream. It was so good I can't wait to come back! read more
Let me just tell you the taiyaki was too scrumptious for me to even get a photo of and the boba cup was so freaking cute that I almost started crying. Another great stop for your boba and dessert needs. There's so much more to try so I have to come back for that bingsu menu! read more
Spoonful rules. I've been here a few times now, tried a few different flavors, and they don't miss! If you've never had bingsu, the best way to describe it is like snow, in my opinion. The staff are nice, sometimes it's busy and there a bit of a wait but they work efficiently. The place is also usually pretty clean! If you go on a weekday (mon-thurs) they now have a mini size (the first photo) for only around $7-$8 which is cool because it is a little pricey. read more

We had dinner at Joo Joo's and then hopped over to Spoonful for dessert. Oh. My. We split the Cereal Killer Bingsu. This was truly delicious. The cereal was on the top, and then I was surprised to find another layer further in. The cream shaved ice is so good - lighter than eating ice cream, great flavor, and I can't wait to come back! read more
I didn't go here often just because bingsu was kinda sweet for my liking. I was never able to finish one order by myself. I was also not a fan of their boba tea. But most of my friends really liked Bingsu here so I alway went with them since we could share. This is a very cute Bingsu/boba tea shop. It's very well maintained after a couple years. They also had fresh taiyaki. I had mango tango and strawberry station before. It was delicious, but very sweet. We got the Blueberry field to share this time and it was amazing. I never thought I would like blueberry Bingsu but this one was a hit. read more

Bingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) for the win, even in cold, gloomy, midwestern winters! My boyfriend and I each had a small bingsu (description said 1-2 servings): I had the mango/strawberry and he had the cookies & cream. Could the smalls serve 2 people as listed? Yes, and at about $13 per small, it'd be perfect for sharing. However, we both ordered - and ate in entirety - our own. The cookies and cream was the winner of the two. We would absolutely order a large next time to share since it's only a couple $ more than the small (less hungry people or those not as big on desserts could serve 4 ppl in a large). The mango/strawberry was also yummy! Their fruit sauces are made in house and didn't taste sickenly sweet or sticky. This was my first time trying bingsu and dare I say I like it more than frozen custard...maybe! It's light, has fun toppings, still has a creamy light feel when it dissolves, and the condensed milk to pour over it is *chef's kiss* Spoonful itself has a cute interior with upbeat music, extremely clean surfaces, and a little photo op walk if you want to document your bingsu experience. This place has been on my radar for a while. Finally tried Bingsu.. Its a huge serving which looks very pretty.. Lot like shaved ice with different toppings- I tried the mango strawberry and enjoyed both flavors immensely. Also got two of the fish shaped pastries- this tasted a lot like waffles -stuffed with Nutella or red bean paste. I recommend the Nutella. This place is so cute!! I've always wanted to try taiyaki and live out my anime-loving dreams and so I bought the Nutella one. Can't wait to go back and try all the other flavors! I also tried the bingsu which is a Korean shaved-ice dessert. I got the Tira-Miss You and my friend got the Cookies n Dreams. Highly recommend getting the small and sharing with a friend! Trust me, it will be enough for two people. I want to go back and try all the flavors! So fun! They also have bubble tea and other drinks. Definitely recommend coming! I am lucky to discover these wonderful desserts from Korea. It is located on Olive Ave in Chesterfield next to the Korean restaurant Joo Joo. I have tried the red bean fish shaped desserts and the shaved ice. Even though the fish shaped bakery is too sweet for me, I really enjoy the matcha red bean shaved ice. The shaved ice is not too sweet and filling. The red bean and matcha is perfectly complimentary. I also love the mochi that come with it. I would highly recommend it. read more

I miss almost everything about living in Korea, but the food is one of the top three things I yearn for day after day. I could eat nothing but bingsoo for the rest of my life and probably not complain. Spoonful was a pleasant surprise with their offerings and quality. Even the Korean-cafe style beeper took me back and flooded me with great memories. 1000/10 for the bingsoo, 6/10 for the bubble tea but that's our fault for not adjusting sweetness properly. read more
