The ambiance is uplifting when you walk into the restaurant. They have a variety of food & all the boba drinks that we love. Our daily coffee fix is here, plus another favorite: Taro! What brings it all together is the service. It's always upbeat & with a smile.

The gentleman who took my order was polite. My husband was contemplating on which flavor he wanted, and the gentleman who took our order recommended that he try the blueberry lemon. He did not disappoint with his suggestion. This establishment is small and a stand alone building. There is limited seating on the inside. I had the Watermelon, mango and lychee with popping boba was delicious. The right amount of sweetness and the popping boba gave it that added flavor and texture. My husband tried the Blueberry Lemon Slush and it was delicious. Reminded me of red, white and blue bombpop. They also sell food, but i haven't had the pleasure of trying it just yet.

Picked up some Boba tea for a friend and a snack. Everything was prepared fresh. The customer service was good and so was the food.

We got the beef & chicken noodle soups with high hopes. The broth tasted like flour-water; bland with no flavor. There was a whole bok choy in the container. (See pic) Wish I had ordered a different dish.

I loved their boba. Me and my boyfriend went there and I got the brown sugar boba. I get it without the tapioca pearled because they're not my favorite so I got the popping bubbles and I loved it. The staff was super nice there I was in and out of there quickly! Super good and definitely recommend!

I crave the passion fruit slush with boba it's so good! The boba is always fresh and chewy and the drinks (I get) are always great. They have really good fried rice and a crispy chicken that pair well together. Recommended.

What this place lacks in ambiance it makes up in taste and service. The cashier was very friendly. The Boba tea was delicious. I want to go back and try their food.

If it was possible, I would have given 2.5 stars. I ordered the peach green tea with brown sugar boba. My daughter ordered a Thai tea with brown sugar boba. The shop is small and dated, and the brightly colored menu board has numerous choices. If someone is not familiar with boba/bubble tea, I think it would be overwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested but not rude. The building did not feel clean and appeared really run-down. My peach green tea was okay, I drank it. I was really disappointed that the boba were plain/unflavored when I specifically requested brown sugar boba. If they do not offer them, I wish that the young man taking my order would have specified that instead of just giving me something I didn't ask for. My daughter did not even drink her Thai tea. In her words, "it has a fake, powdery, chocolate taste." Thai tea is not something I really like or have a great frame of reference for, but I tasted it, and to me, it had a very chalky taste--it made me think of Taster's Choice International Coffees (if you are old enough to remember that). Their sign boasts "St. Louis First Authentic Bubble Tea Establishment" and that may be true, but it is definitely not the best bubble tea in St. Louis.

Terrible customer service!! Very powdery drinks. If you want real boba go to KUNG FU TEA in the loop! They're also much nicer.

Not a single miss. The biggest standouts were the lavender yuzu berry cookie and the berry trio walnut bread. The cookie was incredibly well balanced -- floral, citrusy, and not overly sweet -- and easily one of the best cookies I've had in a while. It's also a pretty large cookie, so good for sharing... or not The berry trio walnut bread had great structure despite being packed with nuts and dried fruits -- really thoughtfully baked and especially amazing toasted. Overall, Foundry is a really great bakery. Absolutely worth the drive to try something new, and I'll definitely be coming back.

They are truly the definition of mom and pop shop that cares about their customers.
