My friend and I were craving poke and ended up here after seeing the good reviews! Parking was a bit of a struggle since it was the weekend and it's pretty much all street parking. Inside, it's way more spacious than you'd expect, with tall ceilings and around 20ish seats. Feels like they do a lot of takeout too. I really liked the iPad kiosk setup to customize your order, its super easy to use. We went with the poke bowl with one protein and the toppings were generous and the sauces were really good. My only gripe was that the protein felt a little light compared to the amount of rice and toppings. I'll probably do extra protein or double up next time to balance it out better. While we were eating, a lot of people kept coming in just for bubble tea, so that's clearly a favorite here too. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Oh and the chairs have cushion on them instead of being hard plastic, small detail but I appreciated it after a long time of walking around. Great corner location, solid poke. I'd definitely be back. read more

So delicious! I love that I get my healthy meal here and then ice cream after! The owners are also so kind. It is a lovely place to get a treat as a family. They here my daughter say she wanted a waffle and they gave us one for free . Very reasonable prices for poke bowl and the tuna was so fresh too. read more

As ashamed as I am to say this, this is my first time trying Poke One since they opened and I wished I had tried it sooner because it was AMAZING!! I tried the House Classic poke bowl and it offered the perfect balance. The quantity of food that I received lasted me for 3 meals, which was great. Walked in after Frizz Fest to a warm greeting and all my questions answered. Also got suggestions and my child could decide which sauces she wanted and they took time to let her try a few so she could make the best choice for her taste. Poke one was clean and has great portion sizes. But what I really loved is that they have topping options that a lot of poke places don't have. The boba tea was also delicious. Family ran so I definitely recommend this spot over the chain Poke spots. read more

Stopped in for boba tea and it was so good! They had popping boba too which was so delicious. Everything tasted super fresh and they had some really great tea options. Super tasty! Lots of super though. It was also pretty expensive...they use a lot of ice so really you're not getting a lot for the price tag. It's the only reason we won't come back, it's hard to justify. read more

Very friendly service from the son and father, helpful and accommodating. Clean bathroom, as was the rest of the place. I had a rose milk tea with Boba that was just about perfect (the tea was so fresh, some of the ice melted immediately, but they were happy to dump some more ice in there for me), and an egg waffle (called an egg waffle because it looks like a bunch of tiny little eggs!), with whipped cream. My first egg waffle! I loved the flavor, kind of like a fortune cookie with a soft and chewy center. Def will be back to try something else! read more

Poke One is such a lovely little gem! So much natural light and the staff is so nice. I usually get my orders to go and create my own poke bowl. The bowls always taste fresh and have good portions. They are my go to spot in the Tower Grove South neighborhood when I want a fresh lunch with plenty of protein. read more

12/10 Stars!! This is one of my favorite poke / boba stops in all of St. Louis. The service is always stellar and the food is incredible. The bowls are filling and excellent quality, the boba is amazing (and they don't fill the cup with ice so you actually get a nice amount of tea/drink!!) I stopped by today for a quick lunch and mentioned that I hadn't tried their egg waffles yet, but planned to do so very soon. An employee brought out a complimentary egg waffle sample after my lunch had been delivered to the table, and I can confirm that I will be going back to order more, they are delicious! read more

Absolutely love Poke One! Came here right after Tower Grove park with our dog. They have dog-friendly patio seating. We got 2 create your own poke bowls, popcorn chicken, crab rangoons, and peach yogurt drink. All of the food was hot & fresh, they have very generous portion sizes, yogurt drink was delicious. Also got the bubble waffle with icecream. Food was ready quickly, and the staff were extremely friendly, they even gave us a bowl of water for our dog. We can't wait to come back, one of our new favorite places!! Highly recommend! read more

I lived lived less than ten minutes from here for 4 months and bought too many poke bowls to count. Their portion size for their price is impeccable and their topping options are vast. I've moved away, but I'm still dreaming about this place! I've also had their boba a time or two which was just as tasty. But those poke bowls are definitely top notch. read more

First, this place smells like heaven from the Hong Kong waffles (which I didn't try this trip but will next time!). The poke bowls are not cheap but I think pretty generously portioned. I got the Hawaiian but you can also customize your own. Service was very quick for take out. Will be back to sample more of the menu! read more

We ordered take out from here. It was done quickly and packed very nicely. The ingredients were fresh and well presented in the bowl. We did the build your own poke bowl with 2 scoops of protein. It's a ton of food. The crab Rangoon were quite tasty, also. The staff was very friendly when we picked I the order. They do have eat in accommodations, if you want to hang out there to eat. My friend and I stopped in for the Boba Tea but I'll definitely be back to try their food! Their service was quick and personable and the inside was clean and bright. The boba menu is minimal because of how many food options they offer but I ordered the Mango boba and it was perfectly refreshing. My friend got the brown sugar boba and it's sweet just as you would expect. I glanced at their food menu and I am very excited to come back as everything looked fresh and well priced. Grabbing some poke and heading over to the park sounds like a perfect summer plan to me! read more

Place was packed around lunchtime on a saturday. In 15-20 min our food was ready. Teriyaki beef bowl was good with fresh ingredients: Edamame, carrots, cilantro, broccoli, seaweed, corn, egg and rice. They have cute bottles for drinks. Ordered pineapple slushie, they mixed up and got a pineapple yogurt drink instead. It was a little too heavy taste. read more

Lovely shop with plenty of sweet treats to entice kids (and tempura chicken which could fulfill their nugget needs). We got the #1 Hunt Valley and it was DELICIOUS. Well-balanced with high-quality fish. So many poké places try to cover up bad quality fish with a whole punch of unnecessary toppings but this was the real deal. The Thai tea here is excellent!! Strong enough for me where sometimes I find that the tea flavor can be a little watery some places. I'm not sure if they did this on purpose or not but I got 1/2 popping boba & 1/2 regular tapioca, and it was honestly really good!! I would try it again this way. The regular is on the smaller side but it wasn't overly pricey so I still feel like it was good value, and the boba was perfect! Chewy & cooked through. read more

Picked up dinner to go here last night and it was awesome. Very friendly staff and every single thing I ordered was great. They added a free Hong Kong egg waffle to my order. Assume that was because my order was fairly large. But adding that waffle was a genius move. Now every time I go back here I'll want to order the waffle. Overall, can't say enough positive things. I'll be coming back often and have already let my friends know this place. Feel free to open a location downtown on Washington Ave near my place. read more

I really love their bowls and the popcorn chicken. My spouse likes the bowl with the pineapple in it and I like the make your own so I can pick what goes in. The portions are generous. Staff was so incredibly friendly and let us know exactly how to order, which helped as a poke newbie! I got a bowl loaded up with all the accoutrements and tofu- had enough for leftovers the next day!! I think as a vegetarian it was absolutely worth it! Also got the mango yogurt drink on a whim and it was great! Definitely refreshing and satisfied my sweet tooth at the same time with popping boba! read more

I love Poke One! This new place on the corner of Tower Grove Park is the perfect place to get a bubble tea, ice cream, or poke bowl and head to the park. They are super slow. It's a given to shut down online orders during rush hour unless you have the staff to cover it. I stood in line for 15 minutes just to order a small ice cream and waffle for $14 including tip. I got the ice cream right away but then I waited another 15 minutes and my waffle order was still not being prepared. I walked away and accepted that I wasted time and money on this place. read more

Food and Boba is great and reasonably priced. If you've never had poke, you should try it! Delicious and healthy. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The place is new and clean as well. If you came here looking for the Tower Grove Creamery, you will not be disappointed. It appears they have all of the same delicious ice cream. read more

The best egg roll I've ever had. They are new and still figuring out how to get orders out quickly but it is worth the wait. It's got a quirky drug store ice cream parlor vibe. Great to visit when walking the park. read more

The food is great, the spicy dragon is tasty but it IS spicy! The customer service is fantastic. It has a mom and pop vibe that is quite welcoming. I had the dragon bowl, pot stickers, and honeydew milk tea with tapioca boba. I think of it like asian quick comfort food. I recommend this place for anyone who likes Asian food or ice cream or Boba. read more

went in for lunch after being tired with the options around me, only for poke one to come from the sky like an angel. they give you so much food. i went to the restroom (very clean btw...) came out, and it was finished! there were only two people working, but for being lunch time it was speedy! i don't usually write reviews because i'm greedy and want to keep these places to myself...but darn it, I have to share--god forbid they take my new, precious place away from me. read more

I opted to get a waffle bowl with gooey butter cake and brown butter almond brittle. Both ice creams were delicious. The gooey butter cake had pieces of gooey butter cake, and the brown butter almond brittle had almond brittle pieces in it. It was sweet, yet salty, and savoury. The waffle bowl was crunchy, and sweet. I will definitely be back to try new flavours!

We always make a stop at Jeni's whenever we are in central west end, or even when we're not.

We were repeatedly told that they were. When the food came out, I asked twice more if the pita was gluten-free and was again told yes. We ate some of it based on those assurances. I finally went and asked another employee, who then told us that the pita DOES contain gluten. This is not a minor mistake for someone with celiac disease. We specifically disclosed the dietary restriction, repeatedly verified the food, and were given incorrect information multiple times before eating it. What makes this especially concerning is that The Fountain on Locust promotes itself as being allergy-friendly. If a restaurant is going to make that claim, staff need to understand food allergies and celiac disease and be able to accurately identify what is and is not safe. We would never have eaten the pita if we had been given correct information. After this experience, I would not trust this restaurant with a serious food allergy or celiac disease. Management needs to address its allergen procedures and staff training before someone gets seriously hurt.

As someone who appreciates quality poke, I had high hopes for this new spot, which now occupies a former ice cream shop. Service was quick, but unfortunately, the Salmon Lover bowl left me disappointed. The fish portion was lacking, and the crab salad being counted as "protein" felt like a stretch. For the price, it just didn't deliver. If you're craving poke, PokeDoke remains the better choice in the area. I was really excited to grab some boba, but as I was waiting, I noticed jars of powder sitting behind the counter. First time coming to Poke One since they've opened. Staff is friendly, environment is nice. However, the food is okay. they definitely give you your money worth but I had better poke bowls and bobas from other places in St. Louis. But for what it is I say they're good. read more
