Wow this was sooo good. Coming from FL, this definitely competes with some poke down there. The ahi tuna was fresh along with the seaweed salad. Loved all the options of toppings and they loaded on the sauces which I appreciate! For two scoops it's about $17 for a poke bowl, but you can have unlimited toppings. Next time we'd try the Hawaiian BBQ chicken. Also nice location with tons of outside seating for a good weather day.

$6 for a few ounces. (iPhone shown for scale.)

I used to order from PokeDoke when I worked in the CWE, and I decided to give them another try today. I work in Maryland Heights now, so this was the Kirkwood location via Uber Eats. Big mistake. Big. HUGE. I have been a fan of poke for years and I spent a week in O'ahu recently, so I can unequivocally tell you that POKE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DROWNING IN POKE SAUCE. I was given an unappetizing, gloppy mess of something resembling poke, and it was NOT good. Also, $6 should get someone some seaweed salad in a container larger than this one. The poke portion for what I paid was much smaller than what I get at Poke Munch and Hawai'i Poke, too. They also used to serve octopus, and it was not a menu option this time, which was a bummer, because while PM and HP are better in terms of taste and size, they don't have octopus, either. I'll stick with Poke Munch and Hawai'i Poke next time, as they are consistently good with decent portion sizes for what you pay.

Sucks! Sucks! SUCKS! This is one of those Poke shops that gives Poke shops a bad name. I feel like one of these pops up which will be here one day and gone the next while existing only to fill ubereats orders until the game is up and they shut down without letting staff know. The restaurant if absolutely lifeless and smells like a pizza shop more than freshness and vibrancy of Poke. The service is lifeless and stale. The cost for 2 people to eat is just under $40.00 before tipping. I never once saw anyone wash hands, sanitize or do basic sanitary functions between orders. It was like watching school lunch ladies slopping scoops of mush on a conveyer belt. Poke was fine but completely void of effort made with mushy rice and near frozen vegetables. Now comes the worst part of our visit; a massive hair right in the middle of our plate. Thank goodness the long haired employees weren't wearing hairnets and had freedom to scratch their head on top of our food. Its an absolute bust. Why bother eating here again?

Wanted something fresh and decided to come here...big mistake! Slimy edamame. Fishy tasking tuna (which is not normal for sushi grade tuna). Canned pineapple. $60 for 2 bowls and a boba tea. Absolutely insane. I was served my boba tea with no ice and it was HOT, not iced. Poke n Munch in STL is a MUCH better option and way cheaper. I am in disbelief with how expensive and gross this food was. I should have saw it as a sign when nobody was in here.

I love building my own build. It's like Chipotle, but for poke! I've had Pokedoke at their other locations, but this one is a lot bigger and the vibes are great! They have this cute wall that is a picture-perfect opportunity for your bowl or your friends. I always build a small bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. The spicy tuna is probably my favorite. And I add on every topping imaginable. The best sauces to pair it up with is the mayo and eel sauce. Thanks for expanding to more locations!

The BEST poke. Period! I've been to several poke restaurants around St Louis, and other states. Nothing else compares to Poke Doke.

The food wasn't the best my first time. I can't say much about the atmosphere or service because I wasn't insane for long.

Great poke concept. Varying levels of volume to chose from. Great adder options. Fast and clean place with no foul fishy smells.

The menu consists of asian-fusion steamed buns, rice bowls, and udon noodles. Our favorite bao buns are the Fried Chicken, Wagyu, and especially the Bangkok Chicken. Their bar encompasses a significant amount of the space offering craft cocktails and a wide selection of premium spirits including soju and sake. We stopped in after running an errand in Clayton and found out it's Clayton Restaurant week. Their Restaurant Week menu was a great deal of 4 courses at $39 including your selection of 3 bao buns to try. Unfortunately we did not have big enough of an appetite to order the Restaurant Week menu but did partake in their happy hour when a selection of cocktails are $10. Their happy hour is Sun-Thurs 4-6 with specials on wine, sake, beer, and select bao buns and snacks. Service is always polite and brief here to allow for a relaxing, and possibly romantic, dining experience. Although a smaller restaurant, they are able to accommodate larger reservations by pushing tables together. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

However, I will tell you that Eddie turned it around. He was incredible. Sure, normally wait staff will tell you "oh yes great choice" so I asked if he would actually tell us if things were bad. Now, he didnt say anything was bad, but he did say he felt this other dish was better than what a person ordered because it had more flavor and yada yada. A honest man. Love to see that. Japanese Curry = Little spicy, but great flavor. Yum. Wagyu and bacon bao = amazing. Get it. Pork belly boa = a little dry, bummer. Fried shrimp boa = good. Fries = 100/10. Perfectly crispy. Amazing. Also a little thing, but the light on table had three different settings and I just really appreciated that. Treat yourself to this small restaurant tucked away in Clayton and go visit by boy Eddie.
