Okay, it's safe to say that I am a fan of Polly's Diner and will continue to visit. Last weekend,…read morewhen I woke up, I was not in the mood to make breakfast. Instead, I wanted someone else to cook for me and I knew just the place! I suggest to my hubby that we visit Polly's Diner and he was all for it! When we arrived, we had to park out in the back (I really hope the parking lot can be updated or repaired in the future becuase right now, it's so bad), but that's not going to stop me! When we walked inside, we were greeted right away and they had a table available, so we were seated quickly! Our server was already offering coffee and water to us which was perfect. She gave us time to check the menu and since I already knew what I wanted, I helped my hubby make a decision since so many items were on his list. He eventually ordered the western skillet and I ordered the strawberry pancakes which I could not wait to eat! While we waited for our food, the server(s) on the floor were checking in with us and chatting with us ehile they refilled our coffee. Once the food arrived, I was so ready to dig in! My pancakes were topped with strawbery glaze and so many strawberries, I knew I would not be able to finish, but that didn't stop me from trying. I did eventually need to ask for a box and broght them home for later. My hubby said that the skillet was really good and had all his favorite food items included. It was such a good breakfast and honestly, for the price, we know we were fed well. Once we were done, we went to the counter to pay and were on our way. Polly's Diner is just a cute little Fenton restaurant and I am so glad that we have it so close to the house. I already plan to go again later this week!

We parked right next to the main door, but family had to park two lots away. Yes, it was crowded,…read morebut service was FAST & food hot. So many specials & large menu makes me want to come again as well as the workers. Everyone was nice & some were related. So many pie/cake choices I was literally distracted to a halt on arrival, Then when leaving I was enthralled by a gigantic bowl of candy...also generous variety. Sadly, I did not have room for pie/candy. Served the most fries of any restaurant I have eaten at in 2025, & the thickest roast beef sandwich I have ever eaten. Hubster got a basic burger & polished his off as well. Family got a sandwich my mom would have wanted, but I'll be bringing her back for pie! I look forwarded to looking at the decor more on my next visit...pirate-vibes made me smile. We were engrossed in conversation & were one of last to leave before the closed. They did not rush us. We were there over an hour and half. Only restroom at a restaurant I have ever been in with a bidet!

While visiting St. Louis, decided to check out Hatch'd based on all the great Yelp reviews. Despite…read morebeing very busy on a weekday, we were instantly seated at their only open table. I ordered the Hatch'd By You which consisted of two eggs, meat, hash browns and and English muffin. I thought everything was great. The eggs were spot on and the hash browns were super crispy - exactly how I like them! Hatch'd is a true example of how a restaurant should be run. The owner, Josh, worked alongside his staff, and also stopped by at every table to introduce himself and check on their dining experience. Our waiter was also incredibly polite and suggested some great, personalized customization to our dishes. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant, with amazing staff…read more I went here with my kids for an early fathers day breakfast. We made a reservation to this place. It said we were ninth in line. We thought we had to wait for a long time, but it actually went quick (like 5 minutes) when we got there. We did not realize this place had an upstairs, until our waiter guided us. This place looks very large on the inside compared to what it looks like on the outside. The restaurant also had an rustic atmosphere. With exposed pipes, rusted decor, and 80's memorabilia on the shelf. We ordered coffee here, and one of them came in a Christmas cup. Even though it was six months away. My wife chuckled on how they served her coffee in a Christmas cup. Mine came in a plain white cup. But I still excessively chuckled on how funny the menu is and the staff are. The staff are very attentive to how your food tastes and make plenty of funny jokes with you. They also are very descriptive on what the specials on pancakes and omelettes are. As well as being very honest. I ordered the Benny's Got Beef Or Belly with Brisket. I know, long name. I watched the weather while my food was being prepared, and occasionally looking at the PBS TV nearby. My wife was drawing with my 11 year old daughter (and writing "secret messages") as their food was being prepped and prepared. When my food finally came out, I immediately took a bite. The brisket was very juicy and tender. And the eggs were delicious on the side. I tried this place several years ago. Was still the same good taste that I remember when I took my wife to this place. Very amazing place. Will come again.

This was our second time visiting in the past several months. I can't recall off hand what I had…read morethe first time but it was better than what I had today. I wasn't in the modd for breakfast food today so I got the catfish special. The catfish wasn't quite cornmeal breaded like I was hoping for and was under seasoned. The hush puppies were very good and perfectly cooked. I initially asked for something other than fries but I tasted one and was glad I hadn't ordered them because they were stale and tasteless. I exchanged them for the home style potatoes which were like warm and had definitely been sitting for some time. My partner got some and said his was hot and fresh. The coleslaw was interesting and finely chopped. It wasn't vinegar based but also wasn't the sweet/creamy type like KFC or Long John. It was just kind of there. The grits were again bland. The Biscuit was hot and fresh but they didn't have butter on the table for it. I should've asked but didn't so that's on me. Our server was kind but the expediter lady didn't seem as friendly. I would say if you haven't been give them a try for yourself.
