    French Toast Biscuit
    Money F.

This was a nice, quick breakfast. I ordered the french toast biscuit, pork sausage and a hashbrown. The biscuit was gooooddd! Perfect amount of fruit topping and the biscuit itself is buttery and fluffy. I enjoyed the sausage and the seasoning on the hashbrown is great. The price of the hashbrown is too high for a frozen, triangle shaped potato. ($2.50). Can't remember the price of the sausage but yeah. I'd skip the sides next time or opt for a biscuit sandwich.

Hands down some of the best biscuits and gravy we've ever had. They offer regular or spicy sausage and vegetarian mushroom gravies. Biscuits were the perfect mix of crunchy outside and soft center. Also that sweet honey taste comes through. They were a bit salty for my taste but I don't use any salt for health reasons. Fast friendly counter service. Small interior and ample patio seating. A great place.

This is a great spot for biscuits and gravy and while it's on the expensive side, I am willing to pay for this level of quality. The biscuits are medium size, buttery and a nice mild sweet flavor. The gravy was delicious and had depth of flavor and there were chunks of sausage that were generously included. I do want to tell you that the "egg"placed on the biscuits is a bit strange in that it is a solid piece of egg that is white and peppery with the consistency of a hard custard. Actually I'm not sure of the egg's origin other than it was likely created by a chicken. The dish cried out for fried eggs but they aren't available. The sausage on the biscuit was first class. Nicely fried, mildly spiced and tasted great. Coffee was and basic diner style. Super friendly behind the counter. Parking on nearby streets is convenient and easy. Giving 4 stars but would be 5 with better coffee and fried eggs.

Honey Bee's is a local favorite, and the owners are the kind of people that make you want them to be successful. The biscuits are really large and come in lots of amazing variations. I'm really enjoyed my breakfast on the patio and I enjoy the variety of their garden. I will definitely be back to try a lot more of their biscuit offerings.

I had the berries and cream blueberry biscuit and coffee after fasting for some blood work I had done at quest on Kirkwood road. It was delicious but I really wanted to try the French toast biscuit. For some reason at 8:15 on a rainy Monday morning they were out?! Oh well. The coffee and what I had was good. Service was okay, ambiance of place is cute.

We bee-lined over to Honey Bee's Biscuits and the buzz is real! This biscuit haven had us feeling like part of the hive -- buttery layers stacked high with breakfast happiness. We went all-in with:* Sausage + Egg + Cheese Sammie* Bacon + Egg + Cheese Sammie* Cinnamon Roll * Hashbrowns* Seasonal Peach Biscuit Great food, cute patio, stellar service, and prices that make breakfast plans a no-brainer -- what better way to begin the day?

I was craving biscuit and gravy and I didn't have the ingredients to make them at home. I've been here before because of a Yelp event but I couldn't remember if I liked the biscuits or not. So I decided to give it another try. It's a cute corner resturant with plenty of outside seating and limited dining in. They had a lot of staff but a bit slow with taking orders. I ordered the biscuit and regular gravy with a mixed berry ice tea. The tea was so good. Not too sweet and the mixed berry flavor was just right. I wish they offered a bigger cup because I would definitely order a large. My food, very filling and the sausage gravy was really good. My biscuit, a little too hard for me. I wish it was a fluffy biscuit with a light crisp on the outside. It seems a bit hard throughout. I came around noon so maybe that's why but I feel this biscuit was cooked too long. Or maybe that's how they are meant to be made. I'd say try it but it's not for me.

This is not your ordinary biscuit joint! Me and my taste buds were thoroughly surprised upon taking that first bite, it was super soft and fluffy. The peaches and creme on top was a but too sweet for me, but I'd still eat a second and third one lol The manager was really friendly and made sure I was able to get my order even when they had to close early.

We finally got around to trying honey bee's! These biscuits are huge and filling! Really liked all the savory and sweet biscuits we ordered to try. The biscuits are not very soft and flaky, they have a honey glazed crust which is delicious and gives it more of a crunch bite. The gravy is delicious and the hash browns taste so good dipped in it. There's a parking lot in the back near the Session Taco or there's street parking. Limited seating indoors and there's a good amount of covered seating outside. Workers were really nice.

Always yummy! The biscuits are massive! They have so many options! I highly recommend a plain biscuit with jelly or even their biscuit gravy yummm!

The food tasted great! I got the breakfast burrito and obviously couldn't wait for one picture before I took a bite. I have a fairly larger than normal appetite and still this burrito filled me up! I got a biscuit as well and had a bite of their sausage and so as far as the food taste it was great! Their indoor seating is unfortunately extremely small but if you go during a time of the year it feels great outside they have plenty of room. It's a little overpriced for the food in my opinion but the service was great and they were very friendly. Will definitely be back at some point.

Walked in and the guy at the counter was so joyful and silly, it made my whole morning. He was sing song "thank you for coming today" to everyone. The food was amazing! My husband and I each ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and I ordered a pumpkin biscuit. Both were phenomenal! Highly recommend. We went around 10:30am on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all.

Honey bees is a great restaurant for brunch in Kirkwood. It has lots of outdoor seating options and the rather long line moves quickly. I stopped by recently and got the pumpkin special which was delicious and came out quick. The last time I went I got the biscuit and gravy and it was a little on the salty side so I stuck to sweet this visit. My daughter got a honey butter biscuit and a side of bacon. They have some creative flavors for their coffee but the lattes aren't my favorite...although it hasn't deterred me from continuing to order them. Definitely recommend popping in for brunch.

I went with two friends on a Sunday at 9am and the whole experience felt rushed from the beginning. I do think this was partly because you do not have a dedicated server which sounds nice in theory. We were asked if we were ready to order multiple times, by multiple people in just a few minutes. My friend was then asked if they could clear her plate at least 10 times because she was not actively eating. By the last time it was almost comical and she ended up apologizing to the server and asked for a few more minutes as she is a slower eater and takes breaks. Dedicated sections for servers would go a long way here.

The restaurant was packed and had a line (for good reason)! Once seated, our server checked on us frequently and listed their specials soundly. I opted for the sandwich special of the day, the Monte cristo, and my partner got one of the Benedict's. We split the special waffles of the day, the French toast waffle. We also both got a good drink with our meal. The Monte Cristo was perfectly sweet and savory. Incredible potion sizing for the price and a delicious plate. The French toast waffle was insane. Such a perfect sweet treat to finish our meal!

We arrived right when they opened at 4 pm and were seated right away on the patio. Was it strange to be some of the first guests to arrive? Yes. But it was also nice to have the full attention of our server who was great! He told us all about the specials and talked us through some of the drinks that he enjoys. Since I shared that I was not currently drinking alcohol, he made a few mocktail recommendations and I loved how he was able to "sell" them to me. I went with a class G&T mocktail and my friend went with a mezcal drink based on his recommendations. We also ordered 2 of the apps to just have at the table while we chatted. The mocktail I had really did hit the spot and my friend really enjoyed her cocktail as well. The hummus we ordered witht he veggies was so good and we also had a potato app that was truly such a unique flavor with creme fraiche and walnuts. We hand a bit of a wait, but that was to be expected since it was a nice (but very hot) day out. The patio was busy but not packed. The hostess was aware that we had a large dog, but still placed us in a very odd spot on the patio - with high rise tables squished together. We also had a decent amount of sun, so we couldn't stay long as it was just too hot and we didn't have a lot of space. They did also seat an elderly woman at the high top table behind us, who came in with a walker. I found that odd too - to make her try ti climb up in the chairs. Thankfully we were there to help her. Service was ok. Our waitress visited our table a few times at first but then disappeared for a long time before we could get another drink or eventually our check. Aside from the seating and most of the service, our visit was fine. Food was good. My drink was very strong but still fine. It was definitely a different experience than i remember from the past, so I was a tad disappointed. I should have asked to be moved, but we had waited so long already, I didn't want to wait more.

There was live music on the patio and a great crowd, which gave the whole place such a lively, fun atmosphere. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. We ordered a margarita and a glass of Prosecco, and both came out pretty quickly. Our food followed shortly after and everything arrived hot and fresh! The sausage and peppers pasta was fresh and absolutely delicious. The pork steak was MASSIVE, bone-in, and incredibly tender--it literally broke in half when I picked it up to box the leftovers! The cornbread that came with it was moist and savory rather than overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. We also tried the garlic shrimp appetizer. The shrimp themselves were clearly good quality and cooked perfectly, but the sauce was a little underwhelming and could have used more flavor. It definitely wasn't a complete miss, though, because the shrimp weren't overcooked and still had a great flavor on their own. Between the lively atmosphere, great service, quick food, and generous portions, we had a really enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!
