This was a darling spot in Kirkwood, and the owner was super welcoming and friendly! There is a shared parking area in the back for you and I think street parking nearby. It was warm when we got there, so we opted to sit inside but there is a lot of seating outside. Although the menu isn't huge, everything sounded so good and I really gravitated to their berry cold brew, BEC on honey biscuit, and a cinnamon roll biscuit. My husband ordered their sausage, egg, and cheese and a hashbrown for our toddler. Everything was pretty good and it's heavy! So its good if you need a big breakfast for on the go. I emailed this business in an attempt to have someone acknowledge their staff's poor service, but am frustrated with no response, and more people should know they have nasty service. There are plenty of breakfast and biscuit spots in this city. Don't spend your money here. I have been eating here for a long time and recently had a terrible experience on weds, Jan 28. It was my girlfriend's birthday and we chose to come here to start the day. It got a little busy after we came in , but asked for water and the jug never got filled. That's not even my complaint. Just a nod to the laziness. The staff seemed to come in and spread out everywhere at a table in the small indoor eating area. No big deal, but a little messy. There was no music playing and my gf said in normal conversation to me that there was no music and the vibe was off and that they probably focus on the patio being the vibe (which was covered in a foot of snow)...to which the man at the counter proceeded to ask us how things were and wrap it up with snarkily telling us we were welcome to outside. It was gross to talk to customers like that, and I am sorry that the ego of the employee caused them to interject themselves into a conversation that wasn't rude or loud or had anything to do with them. This was a nice, quick breakfast. I ordered the french toast biscuit, pork sausage and a hashbrown. The biscuit was gooooddd! So I decided to give it another try. It's a cute corner resturant with plenty of outside seating and limited dining in. They had a lot of staff but a bit slow with taking orders. The food tasted great! I got the breakfast burrito and obviously couldn't wait for one picture before I took a bite. I have a fairly larger than normal appetite and still this burrito filled me up! I got a biscuit as well and had a bite of their sausage and so as far as the food taste it was great! Their indoor seating is unfortunately extremely small but if you go during a time of the year it feels great outside they have plenty of room. I stopped by recently and got the pumpkin special which was delicious and came out quick. I decided to come here on a Saturday morning to get a fresh biscuit. I was able to find some street parking, but there is a large public parking lot behind the store with available spots. It is a small restaurant with seating both indoors and outdoors. The inside tables are very limited and fill up quickly. I ended up finding more open tables outside. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, a blueberry biscuit, and the Bee Kind (iced vanilla coffee). All of the staff were very nice and respectful. The wait time for my food was under 10 minutes. The coffee was good, a basic vanilla coffee. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was my favorite thing I ate. The sandwich was warm, full of flavor, and filling. The biscuit did fall apart as I was eating it, but it was still good. The blueberry biscuit is what I won't order again. The biscuit was clearly overcooked, hard, and dry. It had a nice blueberry flavor, but I prefer my biscuits to be softer and flakier. Both were pretty solid, the only reason I rated it 4/5 is because I do think there are better spots if you're looking for biscuit meals that being said it still was delicious. I also got a peach sweet tea, which was actually my favorite thing because their base sweet tea is really good and done right not watered down or only midly sweet. This place is adorable. It was a cold and rainy day so luckily we came after the morning rush and had no problem. Sitting at one of the small tables. The staff were friendly and smiling and made me feel very welcome. I got a biscuit and gravy and couldn't decide between spicy gravy or traditional sausage gravy so I was offered the opportunity for half and half and I jumped in it. Both gravy's were so flavorful with plenty of sausage. The biscuit was delicious. It was not flaky and buttery but held up well to the gravy atop it so I liked the texture a lot. I also got a hash brown and it was seasoned well and needed no ketchup or the like. It wasn't amazing, but compared to some others it was very good... but let's face it, I didn't go to a biscuit shop for the hash browns. I got a peach tea which was outstanding. Definitely on the sweeter side but that was so easily fixed by letting the ice melt to bring the sweetness down a bit to my preference.
