BBQ Sandwich, mozzarella sticks, Grilled Chicken Sandwich (flex) and tots.
    Andrea S.

Thank you, thank you!! Since being diagnosed with Alpha-gal and unable to eat mammal meat or by-products, it has been a struggle to find a place to eat that is safe for me. Station No. 3 is amazing. I love that they offer flex options too. It can get a little pricey since it is all pretty much a-la-cart but sooo worth it to not have to worry about cross contamination or eating something that would trigger an allergic reaction. I will be back.

We love visiting one of the few places to get vegetarian bbq in Stl. Their food is consistently delicious and always something new for me to try. The staff is very kind and love the new location has a patio or indoor seating. We always get the burnt ends and you should try them too!

Interesting place with a beautiful interior! We loved the layout and seating setups. There's a couple of ways to order and service is quick. They helped us make choices of what to order. Salmon sandwich was burned on one side and the chicken tasted like it was frozen and then steamed. Kind of bland. The fried pickles and brussel sprouts were very tasty! I wonder if we made a bad choice in not trying the non meat based options. Something to look at next visit!

The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is pretty cool. They tour themselves as being a restaurant for friends who are mixed crown of vegans and meat eaters. The vegan nachos were fantastic and the fries were delicious. However, the meat options were not good. The chicken and the turkey are not fresh and both were incredibly rubbery. My best advice is stick to the vegan options!

My friend from St.Louis kept telling me how I 'have' to try this vegan spot (since I'm a vegetarian). So I gave it a shot! It's a small restaurant with super chill vibe. They also had a couple things for meat-eaters too, in case you're bringing someone who need their burger fix. I went on a Thursday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. Food came out fast, and the server was really friendly. Like, they even asked if my dog wanted water. Nice! Little things like that always stand out for me. The menu pretty much had your standard options like guacamole, nachos, cauliflower wings, tacos and burgers. Oh, a few salads too! I ordered the vegetarian burger. It was really juicy, flavorful, and likely made from soy or tofu. The drinks were also the standard however it amuses me how none of the places in St.Louis offer kombucha. The only thing that threw me off was the burger was about $16, and it didn't come with fries. Fries were extra. I had to check my surroundings, did someone transport me back to LA) Other than that considering how few vegan spots there are in STL, I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.

I have previously been to one of their other restaurants and wasn't looking forward to this meal. Turned out ok though. I ordered the Salmon Burger (6oz salmon filet, lettuce, tomato, red onion, vegan lemon-caper aioli, brioche bun) and my lunch date ordered a Station Burger, Fries, and a Caesar salad. My salmon was perfectly cooked. I really can't complain except no one would share their fries with me!

Yummy breakfast! I've had their burger, shrimp po boy, tacos, and chicken sandwich before. I included some of those previous photos too, but the breakfast is my favorite so far. I'd say best item is breakfast sandwich so far, then I liked the burger and tacos the next best. I also liked their pickle fries. Pic description: Left breakfast sandwich is everything bagel with vegan scrambled eggs, vegan sausage crumbles, vegan cheese, vegan bacon, tomato, red onion. Then side of breakfast potatoes with onion and red peppers. Then a single breakfast pancake. Then right breakfast sandwich is a jalapeño bagel with vegan scrambled eggs, vegan sausage crumbles and red onion.

Station 3 is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. However, I need to give a 4-star today. Had a craving for a good fried chickn sandwich. Unfortunately, the one I ordered was overly salty. Loved all vegan mayo, lettuce, red onion and tomato. It could be a great sandwich if it didn't have all the salt. Also, when I ordered I wanted water. Cashier said they only had the bubbly stuff. She could have reminded me that there is complimentary water dispenser in the dining area. Was disappointed after I ordered a drink I didn't really want. I'll be back. But, I probably won't order the chickn sandwich again

The Texas toast with burnt ends and a sunny side up egg

Today was my first time trying Station 3, and it won't be the last! It was surprisingly not busy on a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I sat ourselves and chatted for a bit before placing our orders. We arrived in just enough time to order from the fabulous brunch menu or the dinner menu. Everything sounded delightful, but I chose the burnt ends toast, and a side of breakfast potatoes. The food came out in mere minutes, and looked so good! The Texas toast was chewy but tasty, and the burnt ends smelled and tasted wonderful. There was a vegan sunny side egg on top too - it was hard to tell it wasn't a full fat dairy egg. The white tasted like a potato, and the yolk was delightfully orangey, and tasted both cheesey, and of mustard. My breakfast potatoes were delicious too. For me, nothing beats potatoes with peppers! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was served hot in minutes, and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Station 3 for a meal, and don't forget to try their Sunny side egg! I'll be back to try a burger soon!

I think if I'd never been to the original Station No. 3, I'd have wanted to rate this one higher... The food is JUST as good, and the service was excellent. It's the ambiance that I found a bit lacking. It's in a strip mall, and it has that feel to it. They've done a nice job decorating, but they haven't been able to overcome the strip mall vibe yet. Because of this, if I had to choose which one to visit, I'd pick the original one over this location. A tiny let down in this way, BUT this location offers BRUNCH, so I've GOTTA try that!!!

First timer here. I absolutely love vegan food. My husband...not so much. But, he was willing to try it. As you walk in the place is pretty cute. You sit yourself and you order from the table or can go up and order from the counter. Husband ordered the turkey burger (flex menu), I ordered the bacon egg cheeseburger (vegan), and an order of biscuit and gravy. My husband is a carnivore, but he seemed to be okay with his choice, I thought my bacon egg cheeseburger was okay. It was extremely hard to eat...but thought everything tasted so fresh. Husband and I tried the biscuits and gravy....i absolutely love a good biscuits and gravy but this one just wasn't my jam. It had a taste neither of us cared for. We also ordered the hibiscus margarita which was very delicious. Cute place, presentation and freshness is right on point. Female chef I wasn't blown away, but I will come back and give them another chance.

Quite a different space and vibe from the original Station #3. Parking and entrance in back of restaurant. We were the only customers throughout our visit. Enjoyed the food options which seem the same as the original restaurant choices. Food came out fast and service was fine. Nice addition to the restaurant choices in Kirkwood.

I really enjoyed Station 3. I'm not much of a meat eater so this is right up my alley. I had a barbecue sandwich. I thought it was amazing! Good sauce and a good texture on the plant based meat. Pickles and tomatoes, the toppings are fresh and really make this sandwich great. We also had the Burramundi sandwich. Very good as well. It's a cute place. A good mix of beers, cocktails and nonalcoholic offerings. Hibiscus margarita was fine. A table of people got delicious looking shakes for dessert. I'll be back to try!

I had my first dinner of my stay at Olive + Oak, and it blew me away from the moment I laid my eyes on it. From the unsuspecting street outside, the giant windows glow with the warm, sparkling light from within. An elegant dining room with a beautiful bar and a good amount of hustle and bustle. I felt like I was at an upscale New Orleans joint. Very cozy. Service was just as beautiful. Our server was extremely nice, new the menu backwards and forwards, and rattled off the nightly specials without hesitation. And on top of all of that, when we were getting some stuff to-go, she threw in more bread for us! You can't train that level of service. That's just a good person. Onto the food. We started off with the Blue Crab Gratin (calabrian chili, celery + pretzel bread). This was ooey, gooey, cheesy, delicious, had a fair amount of crab in it, had a nice little kick, and the sliced, crunchy pretzel bread dippers were exquisite. Something seasonal that isn't on their menu anymore, we ordered an Okonomiyaki, which is a savory Japanese pancake, basically, covered in sauce. Wow, this thing was done well. Very reminiscent of the authentic thing I've had in Japan. Very nice. Another dish that isn't on the menu anymore, the Catfish dish. It was slightly Asian and on top of some sort of risotto rice. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was very well cooked, had a nice char. An eclectic dish that came together very nicely. I also got to try some of the Rabbit Crepe (port wine braised rabbit, blueberry, fennel, arugula + kenny's bleu gouda crepe). Some people might shudder at the idea of eating rabbit. Those people need to grow up. Rabbit is one of the most succulent, delicious meats out there, and in this wonderful flavor combination, in a crepe. This chef is genius. I could have downed two of these things. We finished off the night with the recommended Cloud Cake (vanilla chiffon cake, coconut pastry cream, coconut + whipped cream icing). This thing was de-ca-dent. A nice, thicc sponge, a very coconuty cream, and a whipped icing with lots of coconut pulp in it. So heavenly. Overall, my socks were blown off. Not only does St. Louis have good food, this was a better meal than I had in Nashville and Kansas City. Who would have guessed. I would love to come back.

The staff were friendly and smiling and made me feel very welcome. I got a biscuit and gravy and couldn't decide between spicy gravy or traditional sausage gravy so I was offered the opportunity for half and half and I jumped in it. Both gravy's were so flavorful with plenty of sausage. The biscuit was delicious. It was not flaky and buttery but held up well to the gravy atop it so I liked the texture a lot. I also got a hash brown and it was seasoned well and needed no ketchup or the like. It wasn't amazing, but compared to some others it was very good... but let's face it, I didn't go to a biscuit shop for the hash browns. I got a peach tea which was outstanding. Definitely on the sweeter side but that was so easily fixed by letting the ice melt to bring the sweetness down a bit to my preference. Overall I was very happy with my food and the staff and would definitely recommend giving it a try for both sweet and savory biscuits. Will return to try a sweet biscuit next time :)

There are plenty of breakfast and biscuit spots in this city. Don't spend your money here. I have been eating here for a long time and recently had a terrible experience on weds, Jan 28. It was my girlfriend's birthday and we chose to come here to start the day. It got a little busy after we came in , but asked for water and the jug never got filled. That's not even my complaint. Just a nod to the laziness. The staff seemed to come in and spread out everywhere at a table in the small indoor eating area. No big deal, but a little messy. There was no music playing and my gf said in normal conversation to me that there was no music and the vibe was off and that they probably focus on the patio being the vibe (which was covered in a foot of snow)...to which the man at the counter proceeded to ask us how things were and wrap it up with snarkily telling us we were welcome to outside. It was gross to talk to customers like that, and I am sorry that the ego of the employee caused them to interject themselves into a conversation that wasn't rude or loud or had anything to do with them. In my 20 years in the industry I would definitely not support my staff practicing such crappy service. And it really embarrassed us publicly in a quiet restaurant for no reason. Again. Please spend your money at another local business with mature and respectful service. *edit: after reading another recent review about poor service to a family of black people, I wanted to note in my review that my gf is also biracial...

She seemed unhappy about the move and told us we might have to relocate again because they were expecting a busy day. Honestly, the restaurant was empty, and we would have been finished long before any rush started -- which we were. I asked for ketchup with my burger, and it didn't arrive until after I had already finished eating. Overall, the service was very poor. Unfortunately, the food was also extremely salty -- and we're people who normally enjoy salt. I had the Farmhouse Burger with Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese, while my wife ordered the steak and fries cooked medium well. The steak came out medium rare, and both her fries and my burger and Brussels sprouts were overly salted. The one bright spot was the mac and cheese, which we took to go. My daughter tried some and said it was the best she'd ever had. To top it off, our bill came to an even $100 with tip, and all we had were waters and the items mentioned above. We had been wanting to try Retreat for quite a while, so this experience was very disappointing. Between the poor service and underwhelming food, we probably won't be coming back.
