    Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich
    Gwennita W.

I really enjoyed the food, customer service and the atmosphere. I'm definitely going back! I ordered the Hurricane Margarita (I loved the beads), Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich, sweet potatoes fries and the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The food came out fast and hot. The staff came to check on me frequently. I enjoyed our conversations. The restaurant was clean with lots of televisions.

Circle 7 Ranch never disappoints! The food is so good, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is always fun. Definitely one of my go-to spots and I highly recommend it. Workers are always kind!

We came for dinner and were glad that we joined the waitlist on Yelp first! It saved a lot of time. We just checked in at the front desk when we arrived and only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The restaurant is large, but broken up into smaller spaces, making it feel smaller than it really is. Lots of tvs with sports in and noisy, with people talking and enjoying themselves. Not o we powering and we were able to talk easily. We got the spinach artichoke dip, which was fine, same as it is everywhere. But the Cobb salads! They were better than we expected and really surprised us. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I ordered a twice baked potato thinking the salad would not be enough, but I was wrong. (Potato was good too!) If you ate looking for a good assortment of salads, this is a great place to check! We will be back for these again soon!

Came here to celebrate my little cousins birthday. The ambiance is laid back and casual. There are a few large TV's on the wall so you can watch various sporting events. They were playing the Cardinals game, and another sports event. The walls are adorned with vintage like pictures. And the wood walls give this place a rustic like feel. They have a large patio to enjoy your meal during warmer and cooler weather. They have a few tables and a private room that has self serve beer stations. I ordered the Fiery Honey Chicken sandwich w/loaded fries. The chicken sandwich was seasoned well, and spicy. It comes with candied jalapeños, bacon, cheese, lettuce tomato and onion. (No onions for me). The spice level was just right. For me the spice didn't kick in until i finished my sandwich. The fries were delicious, crispy but still soft. They were topped with bacon, cheese, sour cream and onion. Service was good. Our server was Destiny and she was attentive and patient. The manger came over to address our concerns as there were a few issues with the food.

Let's just start with this: if you know, you know--and if you don't, let me put you on. Circle 7 in Des Peres has that "Cheers but cooler" vibe. Warm atmosphere, tons of regulars, and bartenders who make you feel like you've been friends forever. (In my case, I have--Shana and I worked together 20 years ago, and now she and her husband Nick are behind the bar serving up some of the best drinks in town.) Insider tip: Ask about the secret cocktail menu. I tried three and every one of them was a hit: Key Lime Pie - Creamy, tropical, and topped with whipped cream + toasted coconut. Yes, it tastes exactly like the dessert. Lady in Red - Their take on an Aperol Spritz, and honestly? It's a glow-up. Forbidden Love - Berry-forward and citrusy with just the right balance of sweet and tart. The Fire Honey Wings? Unreal. Sticky, spicy, sweet, and worth licking your fingers for. The veggie plate was fresh and crisp and a nice lighter option to round things out. Bonus points for the self-pour beer taps at some booths--it's such a fun touch. This is the kind of place you bring friends, post up at the bar, and lose track of time. Great people, killer cocktails, and food that hits every time. -- Follow me here and on GoogleMaps, Facebook, and Instagram for more STL restaurant finds, cocktail gems, and local love. #Circle7Ranch #SecretMenuCocktails #TheSassySaint #DesPeresEats #WomenSupportingWomen #STLHappyHour

Fantastic service!! Our drinks were never more than half empty! The food was promptly served and was delicious. I had the grilled chicken skewers- the meat was tender and juicy. Sauces were ok - nothing spectacular. The GOAT burger was amazing- loaded with toppings and well cooked. The sirloin was amazing- cooked exactly as ordered. Overall, a solid dining experience!

Enjoying some Circle 7 with friends after a show!

After performing in a show, our group decided to try Circle 7 as it was open and close to the Kirkwood venue. It's been quite awhile since my last visit to 'The Circle', so I figured a review was in order. My party consisted of about 12 people, so we were sat in back room which was nice. There were plenty of TVs in our room and in main restaurant to satisfy all your sporty desires. Our server was great! Very attentive and efficient. She handled the large party with ease. I ordered a French Dip with fries and that is where things took a turn. The beef in French Dip was underwhelming to say the least.....lack of seasoning, very plain jane and bread was average at best. The Au Jus was not much better, but I will say, making every bite as soggy as possible, enabled me to eat the entire sandwich.....that, and I was really hungry. You can imagine that eating a soggy sandwich is not what I was thinking when I ordered it, but alas, it was what it was. Had it not been for my food, I may have rated this experience a bit higher, but as it is, I'm feeling generous giving this a 3 star rating. Oh, did I mention the fries? Room temperature and no flavor....unless potato is the flavor you were going for. I tried to use salt to enhance the experience, but the salt just fell off each piece of fry. Perhaps this was an off night for kitchen, perhaps my order sat under warmer too long before being served. Whatever the cause, it was not an ideal experience. Will I return? Probably. Although it may need awhile.

Returned to Circle 7 for happy hour with my sisters on a brisk March afternoon. The porch is enclosed and has heaters, but the 5 of us opted to sit inside. Our server was very attentive and our drinks arrived quickly. We order a number of appetizers (probably too many!) and they hit the table fast. Our server then let us know her shift was ending and she was handing us off to another who was just as kind. We were a little surprised how few people were there, though we did meet pretty early (3 pm) on a Tuesday, but still, I've never been there when it was that slow. It did make conversation easier, which is the point of getting together, after all. I had a brown ale on draft that was tasty, two of my sisters had the Tuesday margarita special which they didn't like all that much and the other two had tea. All the food was terrific! We particularly enjoyed the Fiery Honey Cauliflower and the corn fritters, but the t-ravs, and boneless Buffalo wings were also on point. But the best was the baked goat cheese with cranberries and walnuts...SO good! We'll be back for sure and encourage anyone looking for a good meal or happy hour (very good pricing) to stop in.

In town for some shopping and decided to swing by for an early lunch. Arrived just after opening so no wait time and seated immediately. The waiter was great. Very attentive and on the ball. It filled up quickly and the noise level increases quickly, but not to a level that is uncomfortable. We started with pretzels and queso, which was amazing. Definitely recommend that as a starter. I stuck with the buffalo chicken wrap and fries again this time. I enjoy their homemade ranch that is served with this wrap. My husband tried a New Orleans wrap and fries. Tons of food, and it was all very good!

Nola Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries, and my drink is a seasonal summer one!
    Amy S.

I came here with a friend for lunch and it was a good experience. There was a 5 minute wait, but both the hostess and our server were mostly nice. We ordered the Pretzel Sticks to begin. The queso was hot, the pretzels were steaming and buttery, and the flavors of both went well together and satisfied my hunger before my meal coming out. For my meal, I had the Nola Wrap- so good! My only complaint was it was quite saucy, so my tortilla was not holding up well. Nonetheless, the flavors of the sausage and shrimp paired nicely and it was tasty! The sweet potato fries were good, but a little bland. I would definitely come back and eat here again, it was a laidback and upper scale sports bar type of vibe.

We were in the area and wanted a nice lunch somewhere. A family member always recommends Circle 7, so we decided to take the plunge and finally eat at this place. It always seemed busy, so we were hesitant walking in. There wasn't a wait but they were only able to get a large booth even though there were two of us. The place was packed, and between the chatter and music, it was very loud. Our server was alright. She gave good recommendations about items on the menu. However, flagging her down for refills or the drink was pretty difficult. Granted, she did have most of the tables inside. They need more servers, I think. We started with the Fiery Honey Shrimp, but with the sauce on the side. They were pretty good, but not something we'd get again. Our entrees were pretty good. The VooDoo Chicken Tacos were a great blend of sweet and spicy. My Mom loved her Steak Fajita Salad. Honestly, this place was pretty good but just too loud to really enjoy dining in. We may come back on a day when they're less busy or try the patio next time.

I recently stopped by after an appointment in STL. It was right at lunch time and it was also, opening day for the Cardinals. So when I entered, the line to order was already long. To my surprise, the one lady taking orders, moved that line quickly. So I give her major kudos. When it was turn to order, I was ready. I went with a Double and swapped out the American Cheese for Pepper Jack. For my side, I tried their Salt&Pepper Onion Rings. After ordering, I took my number stick and took a seat at the bar. Once seated, the bartender welcomed me and I ordered a draft beer. I barely had completed my Wordle and my burger basket was being slid in front of me. Before taking my first bite, I admired the crisp edges and actually ran my finger around them. My first bite was heaven. It proved to me that all a good smash burger needs is; ketchup, mustard, onion and pickles. The Onion Rings were made in house and the simple seasoning of Salt & Pepper made them a winner. While dining at the bar, I learned a new trick. If you're going to be sitting at the bar to enjoy your smash burger, you can order it from the bartender. That's right, no standing in line to order, you can go straight to the bar. Great staff. They all hustle and provide friendly and professional service.

I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

Being a firecracker myself, I ordered the Firecracker Smashburger. It's a single patty, with Pepper Jack Cheese, Tomato-Onion-Jalapeno Relish, Drizzled with a Tangy Fire Ranch and served on a Martin's Potato Roll. The burger was juicy and had those crispy edges that a smash burger is known for. My favorite cheese is Pepper Jack, so that was a big plus for me. The relish added that extra kick that made it a true, Firecracker. I can't enjoy a burger without fries and Jack offers long skinny fries. They had a crispy shell and a soft hot inside. They were simply seasoned with just the right amount of salt. I was impressed that the ketchup was 100% Natural. That gets a big thumbs up. When enjoying a burger and fries, a nice cold beer is always the adult beverage of choice. JN offers a small variety of craft beers on draft and three popular Anheuser-Busch products. I enjoyed a Gumballhead from 3 Floyds Brewing. An American Pale Wheat is a perfect lunchtime beer. The bartenders are personable and offer warm service. This place is so, so cool. My cousin took me out for dinner and I had never even heard of this…read morespot. Wow, it's such a beautiful and moody spot full of charm!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a booth but I didn't mind because this place serves LOOKS. The decor was awesome! Everything from the stellar service, crispy and lacey smash burgers and gorgeous dining room(s) made me realize why this spot is always recommended to me. We were very happy with our food and it was under $50 for two people! Check out Golden Hoosier, you won't regret it.

It was more than just a few minutes before a server came over. We ordered cocktails and then got serious about choosing our meals. We eventually decided and placed our orders. We got pretzel bites and cheese to start and it was fine. Then our food came out! I think most of us got burgers. I know someone got the fried chicken sandwich and said it was good. The smash burgers were good. About half of the fries were good and the rest were overcooked. The cocktails were good! Our service could have been a little better. Our server was somewhat efficient. She wasn't overly friendly or attentive. Maybe they were short staffed but I don't know. I just know that service was lacking. There are many things to look at on the walls! If you're into taxidermy, you'll love looking at We'll probably end up back there sometime.

We went here as a family after my graduation. There was something for everyone in the family to…read moreenjoy. I split the veggie burger and the mushroom burger with someone. The mushroom burger is unlike any other I've ever had. It's ground up mushroom in the shape of a patty with cheese on the inside that is then breaded and deep-fried. It was good and something new, but I preferred the regular veggie burger. The veggie burger comes with crispy onions, which I loved. The service was also great. We are a family that loves pickles and sometimes when we ask for extra pickles, it doesn't seem like we ever get enough. It was not the case here! They were very generous with the extra pickles which we were really happy about. The cheese fries were standard. The Oreo milkshake seemed pretty standard as well, but milkshakes aren't my favorite thing. Personally, I didn't care for how everything is served without a plate and with the burgers in the paper bags. I think the paper bags the burgers come in are a great idea to stop your hands from getting messy, but I had to take the burger out to realign everything so that all the bread wouldn't be at the very bottom and it just became a mess. Note: 1 burger was enough for me. I thought I was still hungry after and got another and that was a mistake!

I used to love Shake Shack, but frankly, this was my last visit. I ordered the regular Shake Shack…read moreburger, and it was ok, but it was $9.79 for just the burger. AND it was so tiny. I mean, really, really small. It just wasn't worth the price. I also ordered a regular Shake Shack chocolate milkshake and it too was very small. But it also tasted "off". There was something about it that just didn't sit right. There was too much chocolate to the point you couldn't taste the ice cream flavor at all. I was going to have them remake it, but honestly, it just didn't seem worth my time. The people who work there are very friendly and kind. The place also seemed immaculately clean. But my experience was frankly rather negative. Thank you for the good times, Shake Shack! You had a good run. But there's no value to your food, and things just don't taste the same as they once did. Epic fail.
