Nice place with a welcoming atmosphere. Higher ceilings, nice lighting. Large bar with a second "bar" style table and then some 1 sided booths with chairs. We were close to others patrons but still able to hear each other, had to project a bit. The drinks were really unique and cool! There were a lot of flavor and ingredient combinations that I wouldn't have thought of. They were well balanced. The food was collabed with Union Bagel and tasty but a little pricey.

Met a few old buddies for drinks on a random Tuesday night. I had never been to Off Elm but had heard good things. The drink selection was robust. Surprisingly, the available snacks were very good too. Service was attentive without being annoying. It was not crowded on this evening so it was very easy to carry on a conversation with moderate noise levels. I look forward to returning.

Sensual vibes, spectacular service, a PLETHORA of artfully mixed cocktails. Very busy but not mad about it. Get on the wait list on the website and save yourself some trouble. Good for them, well deserved bumping spot!

They really know their cocktails here! We had a hard time deciding with all the options. I found mine to be a bit too sweet for me. They also can make cocktails not on the menu which is nice. Parking can be a pain depending on what time/when you're going but we've never had any issues getting seats here! The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and friendly

When my wife told me the name of the bar she wanted to go to I couldn't quite place it. I should have taken the name literally. This is a relatively small restaurant that is just a block off of Elm in Webster Groves. We went in one evening as a parents' night out while we had family visiting who could watch the kids. When we walked it you go from the nondescript entrance to a warm and inviting interior. The lighting was on the dimmer side which makes it have a nice date night vibe. We sat at the bar which spans the length of the restaurant. It had a rich wood top which I always am drawn to. The place was moderately packed for a weekday with people who were 30+. I'd expect on weekends you would definitely need a reservation. There is a food menu, but this is really a drink forward establishment. They have a fully stocked bar and a very nice selection of mixed drinks, wins, and an okay selection of beers. The cocktails are the clear standout and they rotate over time. The drinks were a tad on the expensive side, but relatively standard for the quality of the establishment and vibe it is going for. The main drawbacks for the spot are two fold. First, there is a ton of competition for spots in Webster and I think this is more of a drinks rather than full meal spot. Second, parking nearby is fine, mostly on the street, but it will be off-putting for some individuals. Overall though I liked this spot if you are looking for an evenings of cocktails and light fare.

The drinks are amazing! I'm very picky and don't like bitter drinks, the bartender was so sweet and gave me a wonderful rec! It's nice and cozy and I can't wait to go back!

Off Elm is, quite literally, right off Elm. They weren't kidding with the name. Congrats to the Bar Keep team on this one, seriously, well done. Pat Gioia and I went full cocktail nerd mode here, geeking out over the history behind several classic drinks. Riveting stuff, guys. Now, Pat also convinced me to try an amaretto sour. An amaretto sour. I had doubts (because I'm not 80 and it's not Christmas), but wow, that drink slapped. Tangy, sweet, and dangerously smooth. Naturally, I couldn't leave without diving into the seafood dip #StLouisPescatarianApproved. So yeah, Off Elm nailed it. I am not surprised.

Such a charming spot! We came on a whim on a Saturday evening and it was packed! Luckily, they had room at the bar for us. I highly recommend making a reservation. The vibe is cozy! Low lighting and I love the decor. It feels very intimate which I love. Great spot for date night or a night out with friends. They have food offerings (we didn't try food) but would be interested in returning. I got a spritz drink which was pretty good. I noticed all of their drinks have nice additions to them which make them special and memorable. My drink had a nice mint garnish while my friends had a branded ice cube. All about the little touches! I was surprised to see that many of their cocktails are batched, I feel like this gives them time to add the fun touches. I would return for sure to dry some more cocktails and food!

I came here on a Friday night with friends. We carpooled together. Parking is very limited on the street. There are no reservation options at this venue so they will work to seat you and your party as it best fits and as people come and go. The inside has a modern yet retro appeal. Each cocktail is made with love and procured in various fashions and for a limited time on some.

I recently visited Off Elm in Webster Groves, and while it has potential, my experience was about average. The space is clean and new. The menu offers some creative cocktail options, but the execution didn't quite live up to the hype. The cocktails were visually appealing, but the flavors were hit and miss--The food was not memorable. Service was friendly but not well versed on the menu when asked about charcuterie and cheese. I'd go back to give it another shot, but for now, it's just okay. I'm hoping they'll iron out the kinks because it has the potential to be a standout spot in the area.

Great vibes, snacks, and cocktails. We came on a busy Saturday night and there were no tables available so we had to sit by the window. Make sure to get on the waitlist. There is also only street parking.

Love the Off Elm vibe. It's cool, a little eclectic and welcoming. Sandwiched between Bagel Union and Sylvie Dee's is a great spot to be in and Off Elm offers something unique to the strip. Delicious beverages and a very popular spot. Fortunately, they have a good number of tables and staff although service may still be a little slow (they're busy making exquisite cocktails!).

Cute place. Great for a walk from the neighborhood nearby for a drink. We both had wine (Pinot noirs) nice for a cold winter night. Zero food really. The apps are minimal. It's all about drinks. The servers are well schooled on cocktails and wine but considering all of the options in webster, to me this is a non starter. Parking not good, very congested area... NBD. We went when snow was mounded on the sidewalks and getting in was challenging. I realize this was not their doing, just difficult to negotiate.

I wasn't impressed with the food. The chips were great. The salsa was just okay. It initially has a smokey taste. I assumed it was fire roasted. Then is was sweet. Finally it was sort of sp8cy. It was pretty unique. The guacamole was excellent. The Mexican rice was decent. The Mexican Street Corn was okay. I've had much better. It was smokey at first bite. It moved to a sweet flavor then a hint of spice. It was my least favorite thing that I had. I won't get it again. But I can eat it. I had the wagyu flank steak. I dont believe it was actually wagyu. It was chewy and salty. That's not typical of wagyu. Normally it is very tender and flavorful. The saly took away from the beef. The chicken enchiladas was good, but not great. I had a Margarita and Sangria to drink. The Margarita was strong but something was missing. The Sangria was okay. Again I've had much better. There was plenty of parking. They have a full bar. I had my first dinner of my stay at Olive + Oak, and it blew me away from the moment I laid my eyes on it. From the unsuspecting street outside, the giant windows glow with the warm, sparkling light from within. An elegant dining room with a beautiful bar and a good amount of hustle and bustle. I felt like I was at an upscale New Orleans joint. Very cozy. Service was just as beautiful. Our server was extremely nice, new the menu backwards and forwards, and rattled off the nightly specials without hesitation. And on top of all of that, when we were getting some stuff to-go, she threw in more bread for us! You can't train that level of service. That's just a good person. Onto the food. We started off with the Blue Crab Gratin (calabrian chili, celery + pretzel bread). This was ooey, gooey, cheesy, delicious, had a fair amount of crab in it, had a nice little kick, and the sliced, crunchy pretzel bread dippers were exquisite. Something seasonal that isn't on their menu anymore, we ordered an Okonomiyaki, which is a savory Japanese pancake, basically, covered in sauce. Wow, this thing was done well. Very reminiscent of the authentic thing I've had in Japan. Very nice. Another dish that isn't on the menu anymore, the Catfish dish. It was slightly Asian and on top of some sort of risotto rice. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was very well cooked, had a nice char. An eclectic dish that came together very nicely. I also got to try some of the Rabbit Crepe (port wine braised rabbit, blueberry, fennel, arugula + kenny's bleu gouda crepe). Some people might shudder at the idea of eating rabbit. Those people need to grow up. Rabbit is one of the most succulent, delicious meats out there, and in this wonderful flavor combination, in a crepe. This chef is genius. I could have downed two of these things. We finished off the night with the recommended Cloud Cake (vanilla chiffon cake, coconut pastry cream, coconut + whipped cream icing). This thing was de-ca-dent. A nice, thicc sponge, a very coconuty cream, and a whipped icing with lots of coconut pulp in it. So heavenly. Overall, my socks were blown off. Not only does St. Louis have good food, this was a better meal than I had in Nashville and Kansas City. Who would have guessed. I would love to come back.
