Cute little spot. Off elm near 44. We came without…read morereservations but were able to grab the bar by the window. Have an extensive cocktail menu. Ordered a couple drinks. Server checked on us & made recommendations on drinks when asked. They have some unique cocktails which was nice for a change from the standard cocktail. They had fun ice cubes with the name etched in them.

I came for a HH and enjoyed three different cocktails. My first was a Gold Rush. It's basically a Bees Knees with Vodka instead of Gin. It was light and refreshing, making it a great start. The second cocktail was one of my all-time favorites, a Old Fashioned. I can honestly say, it was one of the best, if not the absolute best one I have ever had. I finished the HH with a Espresso Martini. It was a good ending to my HH. They use a Cold Brew instead of true espresso, so it had a milder coffee taste. My nosh while drinking was a, Jalapeño Popper Dip. It was okay, in my opinion, it did not fit the description on the menu. Especially, the type of chips described. My friend ordered, The Small Board and it was fantastic and a good value. Our bartenders were friendly and as I stated earlier, they are masters of their skill. What stopped them from getting a 5 Star review, is simple. They do not offer a Martini on their Happy Hour Menu. I'm a Martini Man and that disappointed me, but it wont keep me away, it just keeps them short of 5 Stars.

We had a good time playing pool and there was a male bartender making our first drinks that was very friendly and conversational. The female bartender made our second round of drinks and was more standoffish as if we didn't fit the "dive bar scene" since we were dressed up a bit. We enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and watching the World Cup game then we left before karaoke was about to start. Bar itself has plenty of seating and nice lighting for the bottles. After learning the story about the owner and the bar, I'm very happy this place is still open but I don't think we'll be back.

It was very loud when we visited, not because of the karaoke, so it was a bit difficult to speak with the bartenders. I guess people were having a good time! There are lots of drink choices at reasonable prices. There is also food, which I didn't try. For the karaoke, you go up to the KJ get into the queue, and then add your songs across the evening for each of your turns. There was quite a variety being sung. You sing in front of the fireplace. There is a little bit of room to dance around the edges but not much. Despite being a "nonsmoking" bar, there were patrons vaping indoors and there was a cigarette smell inside (perhaps wafting in from the smokers outside?). The ladies bathroom was very clean. There is free parking outside in their attached lot, but you might have to get creative if you get there later in the night, as the lot gets crowded. This bar has a fun vibe for your friend group to go blow off some steam, but probably not a good place to take a first date.

Now, the reason they lost a star. Was seated outside by hostess. We had a whole conversation about the great weather to sit outside. As I said above, no waitress for a good 5-7 minutes. Finally asked someone. Hostess comes out wanting to know who seated me and "did I sneak in the outside gate?" Super awkward. This was after lunch crowd on a weekday. There were only 4 others seated outside.

I was seated immediately after taking reservations (I reccomend it, it is a really busy place inside and outside) and the waitress was incredibly friendly and charming. She was nice and patient with our table. The food here is 16-19 dollars on average for a reason. The portions are absolutely massive, and can genuienly feed two-three people with just one meal. I ordered the alfredo and a classic cheeseburger, and the burger was good. The meat was thick and cooked accordingly to my ask. While I was sitting at the table, I thought it was funny how my peers thought Joey B's was a second heaven because there was clearly enough salt in the alfredo for a demon summoning ring. It was so salty it was not enjoyable at all, and despite paying $7 extra dollars for extra chicken I was barely given any. They also forgot to give my table bread and butter. I wouldn't go here again, but maybe it was just because I came with expectations too high. It was nice trying for the first time, I suppose.
