So, I had a great meal today, thank you Friendly's. I got a Philly Cheese Steak made with the veggie burger !!!!!! Sooooo freakin' good !! Great games on tv and pool to play. Great neighborhood spot, very welcoming!!!

Friendly's is always a fun time and why it's been one of my favorite neighborhood spots! Drinks are cheap in general but they run a few specials for Sunday Funday. You can't find a better spot to catch a game, inside or out. The heated tent with TV's is a smokers paradise. With Justin in the kitchen there are rotating homemade specials, like fried chicken, and lasagna. Be warned (or advised if it's your thing) that Friday/Saturday late nights can sometimes be crazy. Cash only but they have an ATM..stop by a couple of times and you'll make friends!!

Nice neighborhood bar. Friendly bartender and servers. Has a great feel to it. Large outside seating area, including a tent with multiple TVs tuned to sports. They have a decent sized food offering of mainly bar food and sandwiches. They have wonderful burgers and home made chips, There are a number of games on site if you wish to play.

If you're looking for a great neighborhood bar with good food, look no further. This is the place to go! They have the NFL ticket and will put the TV's on your game-First come First served. They menu is a basic bar food menu, but their pizza is comparable to Imos! They have the Family Meal deal which is the beat deal I've seen at a bar. It's (2) one topping 14" pizzas, Wings, Toasted Ravioli and 4 sodas for $34.99 dine in ($36.99 to go) WHAT A DEAL! I can't wait to come back and watch the game!

    Ten dollar buckets on Wednesdays!

Cold beer on a Wednesday night! As a bar, I haven't been a huge fan of Friendly's. Usually, our group would hit it up after a game or Blackthorn run, and I can't say it's all that exciting as a hangout. They have all sorts of games and distractions, but it's just not my seen. Also, it didn't help that on my 29th birthday the door guy gave me a hard time for not having my ID. I had just been hired at my current job and took my driver's license out of my wallet to be xeroxed, forgetting to put it back in my wallet. We argued for several minutes, and after I showed him my voter registration card, he begrudgingly let me in with a warning. Yesterday I tried Friendly's food for the first time. My pops came through again with a sweet deal. For ten dollars, we got two chicken dinners with two side and a domestic beer each. It doesn't take much to get me out of the house for chicken and beer, even though Friendly's and I had a questionable past. Props to the waitress! She let us order a drink special with our gift certificate, allowing us the Wednesday night special of a ten dollar bucket of six beers instead of the single beer each. "We'll just charge you anything over $21," she said. Woo to the hoo! I thought that was very cool. The chicken was pretty good. I would compare it to Hodak's, just that clean, fresh taste with no big perks. The breading could have used a little kick, but the chicken itself was juicy and HOT! The sides were quite sizable. The mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot, and my wife's fries were bountiful! Alright, Friendly's, I forgive you for the little incident. Just keep the chicken coming!

We came by to grab coffee and dessert one night…read more They have a small bar area in the front of the store to let folks sit and enjoy the view. We ordered 2 desserts and a coffee. The desserts were both tasty and well balanced, the coffee was fresh and screaming hot! The ordering process is a little clunky l, as we had to wait for the ladies behind the dessert counter to be available (they also seat guests in the restaurant it seems) and they didn't see us for a minute. Then you go to a different spot to order coffee and pay. The cashier wasn't sure what the desserts we ordered were called, so she had trouble finding what to ring in. Just made it seem a little unorganized. We were also surprised that tiramisu wasn't an option. But tasty either way! Be sure to stop in and try them out.

The appetizers, artichokes, zucchini fries and Burratta were amazing and the whole party enjoyed them. This was a birthday dinner for me so I was excited when I got there (my former review was about our amazing lunch there so I expected so much more). My mother ordered the pork chop which she enjoyed, she said it wasn't special but it was a good pork chop. My brother ordered the crab enchiladas which he hated. He did admit that it could be a taste thing as he expected sauce and there was bone, just cheese and noodles and crab and not enough cheese. My daughter and I both ordered filet and lobster with scalloped potatoes. I overlooked that it was served with sauce, which had it been flavorful sauce would have been okay but it was as if they took milk... just milk and poured it over each plate. The steaks were not medium as expected... more like a medium well and the lobster... well it is weirdly shredded partially with a bit left in the tail... my daughter complained hers was chewy and mine was ungodly nasty fishy. I even gave my daughter a piece of mine which she said tasted nothing like hers and she couldn't even swallow it. I am not a person to eat a significant portion of a meal and complain so we just ate what we wanted but it didn't take a lot to eat a significant portion because there wasn't much there. For 75 a plate I expected at least quality food and what I received was not quality food. The potato was not bad to me but everything on the table was served tepid and not at all hot. However there were some things warmer than others... my steak was warm, my daughters was cold, her lobster was warm and mine was not. The pork chop was just tepid and the potatoes were just cold. The same went with appetizers, fried artichokes were cold but zucchini was so hot I burned my mouth.... It was much busier when we went last night than when we went for dinner and i left feeling as if they either need more cooks or one that can handle a busy restaurant because the food was just not good. A big disappointment as it was my birthday dinner and one I had really looked forward to. If I were to go back it would be for the lobster roll which was the amazing lunch I had some time back or for an appetizer and a drink and that simply because the staff really are great and the little store out front so cute and J love Italian Grocers... If you go here I recommend asking questions and taking a look at reviews of what you would like to order. Again, I recognize everyone has different tastes and this review speaks to my thoughts on the food last night not on the restaurant as a whole which I feel tries very hard to be a good experience for customers.

I can see this being problematic when they are busier. This is a pub like restaurant with the primary feature being an extensive variety of ranch dressing. We got the ranch flight with fries, and loved it. None of the options were actually spicy, but they were tasty. My favorites were the jalapeno popper and dill. I got the burger with an onion ring and jalapenos that was supposed to be spicy. It was flavorful but not hot. The ranch flight was a really fun and unique experience. I'd go back agiain.

But I live 4 1/2 hours away. The last several times I have been in St. Louis I haven't had time to stop in. But today I was determined to arrange my schedule so I could enjoy a late lunch here. Unfortunately, this turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience. The service was truly abysmal. If I hadn't made such an effort to be here I would have walked out. When I walked in at 2 pm there were only a few occupied tables. One person was waiting to be seated. When the employee took that person to a table she said she would be right back. I waited for several minutes while I observed a few other employees but no one came back to seat me or the other person who had come in behind me and was also waiting. After we had been waiting for several minutes the other person said, "Maybe we should just seat ourselves?" But another employee walked by and said that someone would be with us soon. Finally someone came and led me to a table. Nearly every table in the restaurant was empty but she took me to the very back table, which was facing a stack of upside down chairs, a 5 gallon bucket, and other assorted storage items. She asked if I knew what I wanted but I needed to look at the menu since it was my first visit. That was my first mistake because she disappeared for quite some time before returning. When she finally returned I said I'd like the side of fries with 5 ranch flight. She slapped a paper on the table and told me to mark the ranch flavors I wanted, then she disappeared again. I marked them and waited.....and waited.....and finally she came back to my table and asked, "What was it that you ordered?" I said I hadn't ordered yet then she said, "Oh, right, you wanted a side of fries" and then she walked away as I was attempting to tell her I wanted to order a sandwich too. But she had disappeared. I was talking to her back because she walked away so quickly. It took more than half an hour before she brought my side of fries and ranch out, she laid them on the table and started to walk away and I had to tell her quickly that I wanted to order a sandwich too. I ordered the grilled cheese, thinking it would be quick, as I had already been in the restaurant for nearly an hour. I had wanted to order a side of slaw too but she walked away quickly. I waited another 45 minutes, during which time I kept looking around the restaurant but all the employees seemed to have disappeared. Occasionally I would see an employee briefly appear but no one came near my table. I saw three different employees at different times but after brief appearances they each disappeared. If I had seen my server again I would have asked her to cancel my sandwich order as I couldn't wait any longer but I never saw her. After 45 minutes I was going to leave money on the table and walk out but just then she appeared with my sandwich. I asked for a box as I said I had to leave and she brought the box. No apology for the wait, or thanking me for coming in. This was such a disappointment! Two hours for fries and a grilled cheese sandwich. There were at most four tables with customers in the restaurant and at least three employees so they definitely weren't busy at midafternoon. The fries were good except they weren't hot, just lukewarm. But they would have been excellent if they had been served hot. The seasoning was very good and I enjoyed the 5 ranch flight. Three stars for food, zero for service. Ambiance would have been good if I hadn't been seated at the last table facing storage items. No pictures of my food because I had waited so long that my phone was dead. I noticed that several of the recent reviews are one and two star and mentioned poor service. So maybe this service issue is recent and hopefully will improve in the future.
