That first sip of a strong cocktail

My friends and I often come here for evening cocktails, and apps. These include meatballs, truffle fries, and even the bread pudding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and service is quick even on the busier evenings. They often have live music outside on the patio which is my personal favorite seats of choice. You can make reservations which is great. We often even get some meatballs to go because we make them into sandwich's at home! Last time I ordered the special New England clam chowder and it was phenomenal!!!

Went out for a quick birthday drink with my friend. Food and service was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. Doesn't matter if you go for appetizers and drinks at the bar or full dining experience in the restaurant you won't be disappointed

Had a wonderful experience at Bar Napoli in Clayton! We spent a night out on their gorgeous patio paired with live music. The staff was nothing short of amazing being super accommodating, attentive, and helpful! Our food came out super quick for a busy Thursday evening, but the bread in the meantime was a great addition. Our food was delicious, but with all of the options, it was hard to choose! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. You can either park on the street downtown or they also have an easy valet option!

Be prepared to wait. Later the night went, the worse the service. The food was good. But it took forever to check and leave. They mixed up credit cards for the party. Just messy.

This place definitely has some interesting people watching! LOL. But with that being said, the food is amazing. I've only been here one time and I got a Caesar salad and some shrimp scampi with some white pasta and it was so yummy! The shrimp are huge. And I know it sounds silly, but the Caesar salad dressing was so good! Couldn't get enough! Will definitely be coming back here to hang out and get food and drinks again soon.

Very slow service. The food took a long time to come from the kitchen. That said, they have a nice menu & bar selections.

Clayton was busy, so street parking was hard to find. Once seated, we were greeted with friendly service and were brought water. I ordered a ginger beer with cranberry juice added to it for a refreshing mocktail. We ordered the Squeaky Cheese to start, the golden-brown cheese curds were gooey and had the perfect crunch. They were served with marinara and a serrano dill aioli. The aioli had just the right amount of spice, complementing the dill flavor. The marinara was saucy and also good. I ordered the Bacon Jam Burger with fries. The burger was juicy, sweet, and had a nice crunch. The bacon jam was subtle, but it enhanced the overall flavor. My only complaint was that the bottom bun came out a bit soggy causing the burger to lose structure as I ate it. The fries were thin and crunchy! I had a lovely experience and would like to come back to try a cocktail!

The space itself is very chic and modern. Our event was on a patio on an extremely hot and humid day. While the idea of the glass ceilings is nice to let in the natural light, it unfortunately made me feel like I was roasting in a greenhouse with the sun coming in - the fans didnt do much for air movement and unfortunately there was just no breeze that day so the open balcony didnt help! I also found the chairs to be very uncomfortable. They are deep and may be comfortable for a tall man, but for a women of average height, you cant sit back in the chair without your legs sticking out straight like a child so you have to sit forward on the edge of the seat and try not to slump. I ordered the Forest Park Fizz which was just ok. The charcuterie board was suffering from being in the heat so I cant fault them for that, but the beef filled pastries and the risotto balls were both pretty lame. I would come back to try a different drink and something else from the menu but definitely not on a super hot & humid day!

We sat down at bar seating and were helped immediately. We had good service all night and the drink menu is awesome. I definitely want to come back and try some more cocktails. We decided we wanted to play darts, so we put our names in. Luckily, we only had to wait about 15 minutes, which seems good considering most people make reservations. Darts was really fun, we played a couple different games and it gave a chance for people of all skill level to compete and have a chance to win. Such a fun bar, and a fun concept. Arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night and the next available reservation wasn't until 10:30/10:45. There are about 5-6 dart stations throughout the restaurant that accommodate different group sizes. The seating was open so after roaming a bit cozied into a booth behind the bar where a tv was near by to watch the basketball game. From entrance to exit, everyone was friendly and warm. From my vantage point I observed all of the employees working together to make sure drinks were served quickly, food orders came out hot and guests' needs were met. The cocktail and mocktail was delicious, the lobster elote with seasoned tortillas was very flavorful and entrees did not disappoint. Validation tickets for parking in the parking garage next door is a plus! I'll be going back, have to try the darts!

The menu consists of asian-fusion steamed buns, rice bowls, and udon noodles. Our favorite bao buns are the Fried Chicken, Wagyu, and especially the Bangkok Chicken. Their bar encompasses a significant amount of the space offering craft cocktails and a wide selection of premium spirits including soju and sake. We stopped in after running an errand in Clayton and found out it's Clayton Restaurant week. Their Restaurant Week menu was a great deal of 4 courses at $39 including your selection of 3 bao buns to try. Unfortunately we did not have big enough of an appetite to order the Restaurant Week menu but did partake in their happy hour when a selection of cocktails are $10. Their happy hour is Sun-Thurs 4-6 with specials on wine, sake, beer, and select bao buns and snacks. Service is always polite and brief here to allow for a relaxing, and possibly romantic, dining experience. Although a smaller restaurant, they are able to accommodate larger reservations by pushing tables together. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

My husband said the actual bao was okay, but I guess I wasn't focused on the bread and more on the filling. I loved the tofu bao - I think that was my favorite. The Green Thai Jasmine was also lovely! I'd love to come back to try the ramen especially the matcha-fied version! Very chill inside tho!

There's something about a place in Clayton insisting: don't call me a wine bar, I'm a wine dive…read more Okay. We see you. You're a wine bar. Nothing divey about a hip cocktail or hip deviled eggs -- these are sophisticated modern twists, the exact move wine bars make and dives don't. A chalkboard of specials and weathered seating gesture at the aesthetic; the rest of the room knows. Kendall Roy of restaurants -- comes from privilege, wants badly to be of the people. It's a bit, and mostly the kitchen and bar back it up. Nevertheless, we arrived to a full room, hour wait for a table, but we fortunately arrived to snag the last first come patio table. The bar was also full, by the way, which felt neighborhood like, people clearly like this place during happy hour. The old fashioned makes the case: Old Grand-Dad Bonded, pickled rye, cognac, butterscotch bitters. Two whiskeys and a bitter you won't find at an actual dive. Rich, a little sweet. The harissa deviled eggs keep going -- fried shallots, roasted red peppers, cilantro, marinated tomato jam. You know, just like the old dive with the $1 PBR.Deviled eggs for people that don't like deviled eggs. However, we love deviled eggs...foreshadowing. The short ribs are the headline -- fall-apart tender over whipped potatoes substantial enough to stand up to the meat, gravy spot on. Eats like a perfectly executed roast dinner. The brie burger is the sneaky second hit, genuinely decadent, bacon with the cheese melting into the beef. The service was good and pleasant and that felt more like dive-friendly, where you might expect a wine "bar" to be snooty or full of themselves. 4.4 Stars Picking Nits: hip deviled eggs that reach past what they can hold. Tomato jelly on top is a lot going on, in the wrong way, and the egg disappears under it. These are trying to be hip deviled eggs more than they're trying to be good deviled eggs. Every ambitious kitchen has one plate that tries too hard; this appears to be one. A 5 needs those eggs landing, in the same way the entrees excelled. Regardless, we'll be back.
