This is currently my favorite restaurant. As someone who has a bad wheat allergy, it's nice knowing you can order food and be taken seriously. The menu has a huge range of GF options, including fried pickles, chicken strips, pizza, and fish & chips. If you're craving some classic bar food but can't have gluten, this place scratches the itch! The wait staff is always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is great. Oooohhh....HUGE ding today and I have to share it because I had to deduct one star for the issue from my original review. I ordered the Chicken Club, looking forward to a nice sandwich and (crispy) tater tots. What I got was what can only be described as a chicken burger. Hot, on a bun, grilled chicken breast piece, tomato, lettuce, bacon, mayo, no middle piece of bread. What I absolutely hate about these hot sandwiches and burgers is that they are relatively wet so the bottom piece of bun always gets soggy. At times when I get a hot sandwich (patty melt for example) I'll ask if it's ok to serve the sandwich on top of the tots/fries to avoid that. My wife got the corner pub burger, ordered medium when the server asked, and her burger ended up well done. Service was good, atmosphere, as usual, nice and comfortable, I just can't get over the chicken burger. I hope this helps others that might have ordered the club. read more

I came here for a weekday lunch with a friend who is gluten-free. They have an *extensive* gluten-free menu with lots of options! We had a wonderful waitress and were seated pretty quickly in their partially covered/shaded patio outside. I tried the Philly cheese sandwich with provolone and a side of tater tots. We come here sometimes for work lunches and it's always good! The food, the service, and the atmosphere. They have a great patio. Typically we will order sandwiches and burgers, but sometimes for fun, we will each pick an appetizer and share as a table. Recently, we went with the spinach artichoke dip (with amazing warm pita bread), the pepper jack cheese cubes, potato skins, and the fries topped with carne asada. So good! Trying the Corner Pub and Grill for the first time and was not really impressed. They know what they are doing with their other restaurants, but they missed the mark here for me. Estefania, our sever was fine but didn't seem to be interested in our table. We were sat in a room that had a large party celebrating a girl heading off to college, we were the only other table in the room and she wasn't the server for the group. Ordered initial drinks, I indicated I would get a cocktail but needed to look at the menu. She brought our drinks, took our order for wings and food, French dip with fries for my husband and a regular burger well done for me. I also ordered a cocktail. Food runner brought the wings. They were fine, ranch was good. Fifteen minutes go by, and Estefania came back to refill my husbands tea but no cocktail. I am a slow drinker so I knew the entrees would be out shortly and I would never finish the drink, so I told her to cancel it. Food runner brought out our entrees and Estefania stopped by to see how the food was, we hadn't tried anything yet so couldn't really respond. Onion rings were really good; burger is not something I would order again even if it was cooked properly. It was Medium, at best. I ate a fourth of it but just didn't care for it taste or temperature. Food runner or someone brought our check and Estefania stopped by with boxes after runner inquired if we needed them. Corner Pub is one of my fave spots! They have a large indoor seating area, near the bar or in the dining area, a nice outdoor patio and offer elevated bar food. They have lots of options for people with food allergies, including gluten free options. There are a variety of menu items on a large menu. The appetizers are especially good - the wings, potato skins and the cheese cubes are a must try. They have happy hour offerings too where you can get cheaper apps and drinks. Service is consistently good. We've rarely had a problem. I've been here for work lunches, family dinners, happy hour dates, and for parties - each time they hit the spot! read more

I have Celiac Disease, and this used to be my "go to" restaurant whenever I visited St. Louis. They have gluten-free menus. I love that their fryer is dedicated gluten-free so I can enjoy fries and onion rings. I also really appreciate that they use little wooden signs to mark gluten-free items so I know that my order didn't get mixed up with someone else's. There is free on-site parking in the large adjacent lot. You have the option of seating inside the main dining room, in the bar area or on their enclosed outdoor covered patio. There are lots of large TV screens inside with sports games playing (no volume). However, at most popular dining times, it is very noisy and difficult to even hear conversations happening at your own table. The gluten-free menu offerings seem to be shrinking. They used to have gluten-free fish tacos one day per week. They are no longer gluten-free. This visit, I had the chicken strips dinner with onion rings. There is an "up charge" for onion rings or a side salad. The chicken strips were hard and dry, and I didn't care for the flavor either. I ordered two dipping sauces (neither were good in my opinion) but our server did bring me an another sauce when I asked her. The onion rings were greasy and overcooked. My boyfriend had the gluten-free kabobs and they were good, the meat was tender. He has wheat and milk allergies and we were told by the server that all the battered foods here contain milk, so he was disappointed to miss out on onion rings. Unfortunately, the gluten-free menu isn't marked for milk allergies - you have to ask. The service was satisfactory once we were seated. My food was disappointing and since it was also too loud to talk, I am unlikely to keep this restaurant in the future rotation. read more

We went here on a Wednesday night around 8 PM. I hadn't been in years. We did have to wait quite a bit for someone to greet us at the door and there was also someone waiting for her to go order when we came in. But when the hostess came out, she was very friendly and seated us promptly. Our server was lovely when she greeted us. Food was good. BF is gluten-free so we definitely enjoy the gluten-free menu options. Only complaint is both managers didn't seem to be doing much. It has been awhile since I dined at this establishment. I used to frequent for lunch and happy hours when I worked nearby. Always a great place to meet. Food was so good I came back the next week! Came in here for a weekday happy hour/dinner and a weekday lunch BOTH times everything was amazing! We were seated immediately and the drinks and food were quick to come out. I love the space layout it feels both comfy and more upscale than your average pub. For happy hour we had some beers, burger & fries, chicken salad, and the beef sandwich & chips with a side of beer cheese. The beer cheese had a thick consistency which wasn't easy to scoop with the chips which was strange, never had beer cheese that consistency before. The food however was perfect! Very fresh, hot, and flavorful and came out quick. The second time we came for lunch we got the zucchini fries for an appetizer and the breakfast burger, Philly cheesesteak, fries (well done), waffle fries & tots, and we got the funnel cake fries & donuts for dessert. We also got some beer and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was the perfect blend and not overly sweet. The burgers were amazing the Philly cheesesteak could use more flavor & we feel if the bread was toasted it would've held up more. Unfortunately the fries weren't well done as requested but they were immediately fixed and came out piping hot. We really loved the funnel fries, I wish you could only order those because the donuts weren't as good as the fries but they were still good. I ordered the gluten free chicken fingers with Cole slaw and the fried zucchini. I enjoyed my meal, specifically the chicken fingers, though they were on the smaller size. The fried zucchini I only ate 2 pieces of as all the pieces were soggy. I did get my order delivered so I understand there can be a difference with the moisture but these had seemed like they may had been sitting around for a while before picked up. This place is better than the first time we came. We checked in online, which was great because there were a lot of people waiting in the halls. We waited in the car until they texted us for our table. The service was nice and we didn't have to wait that long. TRavs were good, no surprise since you can't really mess that up. My wrap was good, and I enjoyed the spicy ranch sauce they used for it. I ordered a side of queso for my fries, too. My son said the pizza was ok. It just lacked sauce. Wings were good, but they charge $5 for all flats, which is a bit much. Hubby says the burger was good, but they could've cooked the tater tot patty longer to give more of a lasting crisp vs. soggy. Lexi (our super attentive waitress) took our drink orders and answered our 1st-time diners' questions as to what was good. Lexi was terrific as half our group had Food or Gluten allergies. She made sure dishes were given to the correct people and they use little wooden signs to mark gluten-free items, so orders didn't get mixed up. Also got the 2 children's plate out with our appetizers so to keep them from being restless. Lexi kept all the glasses filled. Prices were reasonable & Portions were a good size. Most of the table needed to-go boxes. Dining room was full, but ambiance was nice. You were able to converse with the people at the other end of the table without raising your voice or asking them to repeat what they had said. Wanted to grab lunch before heading to the airport so my sister and brother-in-law took us to The Corner Pib and Grill. We started with a bloody, some of us and spicy while others had the normal. Great Bloody, I had the spicy which had a good amount of heat while not over powering. I ordered the Mahi Thai bowl with the cauliflower rice and it was DELICIOUS!! The fish was grilled and moist with a great char flavor. It had pickled onions which added a great burst of flavor. The coconut curry sauce was light and not over powering. I would most definitely order this again. My husband's ordered the salmon blt with tater tots. A very generous portion of both salmon and bacon. The sandwich had great flavor. The taste tots were nice and crunchy on the outside. We sat outside on the cute patio. A great place!! read more

The food overall is pretty good , service is up to par , and bartenders are friendly , but I have a problem with their tap beer being way too flat ( several kinds ) ... Something is going on with their CO2 pressure being too low pushing the beer from the keg causing the beer to lose it's carbonation, possible small leaks in the gas line causing gradual loss in CO2 pressure , or something else ... I've mentioned to the bartenders , but nothing has been done about it for several months ... Other patrons I've spoke to have noticed this as well ... I suggest that the management or ownership should look into this . There is definitely a problem going on here read more

Went to the corner Pub and Grill to celebrate my supervisor leaving our agency. The food was delicious and plentifull. I ordered the bayou birdie wrap. It was delicious but needed extra sauce. It came with a choice of side and i ordered seasoned fries. They were fresh, hot and crispy. The restaurant was clean and gave you a pub feel. The server was amazing. Corner Pub is one of those restaurants that is great for the entire family. My husband and I recently grabbed dinner with our 8-month-old and they made it a great experience! I appreciated that their high chairs were clean and had functional safety belts (this is far less common than it should be), and never made us feel out of place for being at a restaurant with an infant. I ordered the boom-boom shrimp to start and it was fantastic! For my entree, I had the Mahi Thai bowl with cauliflower rice. I was grateful to have healthier options available but found the fish to be a little dry. Had a late lunch. Arrived at the restaurant at 1:20pm. No hostess when we walked in but he showed himself about 2 minutes later. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas Bowl. All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh. It had grilled chicken, guacamole, brown rice, green and red bell peppers, corn salsa, and shredded cheese. The guacamole had started to turn dark green. The bell peppers were a little sweet and not overcooked. The chicken was tender and tasty and the rice and corn salsa were cooked perfectly. The dish was a little under seasoned so I had the server bring me a few limes that I squeezed the juice over the entire bowl. I would order this again. Our server was friendly and organized.
