Mushroom appetizer

Pub grub. Service was good. Aye outside on a pleasant lunch time. Must have just resurfaced the parking lot as the tar smell made us move from a street side table. No fault. Enjoyed a mushroom starter which was typically breaded, fried. The vegetable cheese melt sandwich had me searching for the cheese, and removing a bitter piece of cucumber. Served with upcharge sweet potatoe fries which were ok. Felt it was a hit and miss lunch.

This was my first visit to Dulany's, we had our monthly book club meeting here. The atmosphere was good, a typical bar and grill environment. Our server was wonderful, she handled our larger group (7) well. The low rating is due to the quality of the food. I ordered the standard chicken salad and was let down by the freshness of the ingredients used. The avocado was grainy, mushy, and had black spots. The hard boiled egg was grey, and the lettuce was noticeably a few days old. The chicken and bacon were excellent and I ended up just picking out those items to eat. I would not have be surprised if one item was low quality as it can easily happen, but having a majority of the salad made with aged ingredients was alarming. I would still give Dulany's another chance in the future as the quality of the service was great. But I hope the next time I visit the food quality standards have improved.

Delaney's is a great place to have lunch and they do a good job of getting you in and out in an hour. I love their goat, cheese salad, big surprise, right? Haha! Also their chicken wings, burgers, and pasta and broccoli. Portions are huge and service is friendly if not always fast.

Pepperoni Pizza

Been coming here for years and the food is always good regardless of what you order. Workers are always super friendly. The pepperoni pizza is easily a 10/10.

Amazing!!!! Great place for eats and drinks. We had our 40th Class Reunion at Dulany's and they were the best to deal with for there private room. I worked with Chrissy to get everything organized and set up. She is awesome. She called me and helped me with everything. I wasn't the one always doing the calling. She offered ideals to help get this reunion together. The waitress and bartender Jeannifer that worked the reunion was excellent. She helped me deportation before the party and keep checking in with me to make sure everything was going OK. The food was great. We had a buffet of food, chicken wings, to die for, toasted ravioli, Italian salad, dollar rolls sandwiches. They kept the foid coming and hot. The prices are gewat and not so high that you can't afford to enjoy yourself. I will use them again for another party and another class reunion. You will be very happy to come to just eat any day of the week or host a private party In there private room. Call Chrissy if you have any questions she be more than happy to help you out and make sure that everything is perfect.

Great food and love when we can sit outside. Their grilled chicken sandwich is the best!

Adequate, but nothing special. Service has always been good. The best attribute, esp for this time of the year, is being able to sit outside

My understanding is that this place is poetry- or literary-themed, but the vibe, at least during my…read morevisit yesterday, is more Ladies Who Lunch. If you can afford one of the houses nearby, and you'd rather not turn on your oven, you stroll over and have a bite. It must be nice! If I lived nearby, and I had the means, I'd eat here on the reg. I was there to meet members of a local running group for a brief run through the neighborhood and then dinner after. We met on the sidewalk out front, and I noticed that not only did it smell like pizza, but this was the best-smelling pizza I've ever smelled in my life, despite the fact that it was coming from a video arcade (and therefore, by definition, can't be good). It smelled the way Tombstone pizza smells when you're extremely hungry due to being on drugs, when you're like 20... I would imagine. I also noticed that the signage, for this place, is weirdly temporary-looking and/or (if it is in fact permanent) stylistically incongruous. Hmm... Inside is filled with impressively stained wood and would likely smell of rich mahogany if this weren't a restaurant. We were seated at a table for eight or so in a corner that was maybe a little bit cramped, especially if you happen to be ginormous, but I get that square footage here is at a premium. If it were easier to move around, I'm sure they'd just fold that into the price of your sandwich. They brew their own beer, unbeknownst to me, but who doesn't these days? I'm always wary, when I see that a place brews its own beer and it's not an actual brewery, that it might be some guy with a setup in his basement trying to give us all botulism. I decided to have a look anyway, for the sake of citizen food journalism, and I'm glad that I did. I'm no expert on beer, despite my prodigious consumption, but I really liked my Saddle Sore IPA. I had to refrain from pounding it, lest I ended up not being able to make rent. I toyed with the idea of getting a burger, as I do in every restaurant, but I've eaten so many of them lately, and this seems more like a place that *has* a burger than a place where you're better off just getting a burger, if you catch my drift. I ended up going with the Porchetta Louie, and again, I think this was a pretty good choice. I was on a roll last night! Not unlike the sandwich itself. It's served on a hoagie roll with a surprisingly crisp exterior, to the point where it could be used as a weapon. It's not the biggest piece of bread in the world, but it's overstuffed, with a filling that's rich to the point where giving you any more of it could present a liability issue. There's quite a bit of provel cheese, along with thinly sliced pork, kale, pepperoncini and maybe one or two other things. Who knows? The pepperoncini help offset the richness of the provel, and I wish they were more evenly distributed throughout the sandwich. Otherwise, I have no notes. It's a great sandwich. The fries are natural-cut, not unlike at that place in the mall back in the '80s where they'd give them to you in a huge cup. They're better, but somehow less likely to lodge in your memory. They're served with a tiny cup of ketchup, as if to suggest that it's not necessary. I guess it isn't truly, but this is, after all, America. It could be worse. They could give it to you in a gross bottle that they've been refilling since the 1990s.

Came here for an early dinner during a weekday and I'm glad I did!…read more There's a dining room to the left of the door and the bar area with some tables along the wall to the right. It was pretty empty when I came in and I had my pick of bar seats. I loved the rustic decor with the wood of the bar and exposed brick on the wall with a lot of natural light. I was able to try a few beers before picking one and the bartender was helpful in selecting one I'd like. A plus to me that they brew their own beer in house. If you're a beer drinker I definitely recommend coming in for one. For food I ordered a cup of Mac & cheese and later the porchetta louie. Mac & cheese was just ok I personally think since it's noodles with a liquid sauce vs baked serving it in more of a shallow bowl would be better as the sauce pools in the bottom and the cup is too small to stir the noodles. Also using a smaller noodle would help with this as it kind of felt like I was just eating noodles. The porchetta louie was GOOD STUFF, I recommend! I do wish there was more pork to the sandwich because the cheesiness of it was a little overwhelming but the kale and peppers perfectly compliment the fatty of the pork and the richness of the cheese. Will order again! I'd also like to say their house cut chips are the real deal! So addicting! Perfectly crispy and salted and a great portion. Overall a great experience. The bartender was lovely, beer was great, the service and kitchen was efficient, and the food was great. I'll definitely bring some friends and come back again

British Bar INSIDE a "British designed hotel", so I had my hopes probably heightened more that it should have with my previous British bar results. I went in thinking British craziness and got a "Edgar Allen Poe" feel... But I'm going to say this was NOT what I was expecting. First and foremost, your eyes are going to need adjusting. Plain and simple, it felt more like a dark ... room? (Part of the problem I think is that as it was already June, you can forget using the fireplace to lighten the room up) so it felt.. "Small", and I"m going to feel weird saying this... "Romantic Horrorfest". Wait, before you go "wha??", this isnt' necessarily a bad thing. The Taxidermy , the photos on the wall. the fireplace. the VERY (and I mean VERY) dim lighting... The limited seating on the main floor, the one door in and out it had a "wooden cabin feel".. Yes, if you had a wonderful romantic film and it was suddenly invaded by some monster villain... This where it would take place and it would be perfect. (See I can find positive things to say about things i wasn't looking for) As for the service, apparently (going back to the Romantic filmfest), I was struggling to get any attention for the bartendress, cause I guess I was solo'ing by myself, and because of how I wasn't able to get the bartendress attention... I kinda felt like an unwanted customer in a place more for couples or friends getting together which had me leaving shortly thereafter, so no real food score (although I will say, much like Oh London ,the menu wasn't really much to work through...), Anyway, no TV's, no world cup game on the air.. just like I said a vibe of a cabin in a "romantic movie, where the monsters lurk". And Apologies for some of the iffy pictures, it just didn't feel right using a flash on the camera in such a secluded locale) and like I said, it wasnt' what I was expecting (rowdy British fans watching the local club or something), but there's something about it that even i have to admit, would make this location a nice "date night" or "out with friends' location, more so than just a single person looking for a nightcap. (And Maybe there really is a monster hiding in the fireplace, to keep the "Horror" feel going?? :)

I ordered their pork chop, which came with asparagus and layered potatoes. The pork chop was served with a chutney sauce made from apricot, black, and golden raisins. This pork chop is somewhat unique to St. Louis; it's a huge bone-in chop, nothing in Naples, FL can compare. My chop was cooked perfectly. Now, as to never being here, I am exiting the building. There is a small dining area with an Irish band playing. I turned to my son and said I had been here before, pointed to the table I sat at, and told him I had Irish stew. It was in my drinking days, and I am sure I sang all the tunes with the band.

But guess what we enjoyed our table conversations while the drinks were routinely refreshed and when the food arrived it was perfect. While "just basic bar sandwiches and a burger " everything was prepared as ordered. The appropriate temps. Mostly importantly it was just good tasting. Hats off to the cooks and the service providers! Impressive

I had the Irish cheese sandwich, Justin went with the corned beef -- and both were genuinely good. Comforting, hearty, and exactly what you hope for in a pub meal. Now... the kitchen was moving a bit slow this visit. Was it noticeable? Yes. Was it worth the wait? Also yes. Because Sam -- the female bartender -- absolutely made the experience. Fun, engaging, and the kind of personality that makes you feel like you're already a regular even if it's your first visit. That kind of service turns a "slow day" into a good memory. The menu is packed with authentic Irish favorites, and honestly, next time we're absolutely going to lean fully into the classics -- because this feels like a place that does traditional comfort food right. One small wish: I really wish they made their own chips. The bagged chips were a little lackluster and felt like a missed opportunity next to an otherwise hearty, made-with-care menu. Overall: a great spot that was likely just having an off day -- and still absolutely worth your time. Don't leave without ordering the pear cider. It is absolutely fabulous.
