I stopped in here to grab a drink to walk around Main Street. Having been in the location when it was a previous business, I was excited to see the updates they gave the building to make it into a nice coffee shop vibe. Tried: Dragonfruit Refresher Loved: the atmosphere and the customer service - both people at the counter were so helpful to explain their menu items and greet you when I came in and left - such a welcoming spot Liked: my drink - it tasted great! There was passion fruit flavor in it as well. It was extremely sweet which isn't my favorite, but if it is you will love this drink read more

MochaPoint Yemeni Coffee Co. Saint Charles Downtown Here is a unique Coffee shop which is the only Yemeni Coffee place in St.Charles downtown. Highly recommend the honey comb bread!!! It is a must! The drinks and coffee at this coffee shop are always so delicious but I got such weird customer service today. The gen z stare vibes were strong off the bat but that's whatever lol--I was told by the girl at the counter that there was something wrong with the coffee machine and that there would be a wait. I said I was fine waiting. Maybe 15-20 minutes go by and this other guy comes up to me (nice to be fair) and says I can feel free to change my order if I want or keep waiting. I said I could keep waiting because I didn't think it'd be too much longer, but shortly after I hear him tell someone else it'd probably be another 30-40 minutes. I waited about like 15 mins before getting back up to change my order. But I think maybe telling people to hold off on ordering certain things or at least apologizing for the wait would have been a better move today. read more

I don't know which one I love better, the food or the employees. Everyone is beyond friendly and the drinks and food are incredible. They are more than willing to accommodate if there's an issue. I absolutely love it there as the vibe is chill and comfy. I wish it was on my way to work because I'd grab a coffee and honeycomb bread every morning. read more

We loved this new addition to the Old Saint Charles strip! Open late and serving up coffee, teas, and desserts this place is great for a late night treat. We stopped in to try their Mango Cheesecake, Knafeh Cheesecake, Mochapoint Latte, and Mango Vimto. We loved our drinks and the cheesecakes were good but excited to try more of their treats and beverages. The service was quick and friendly and the space itself was very welcoming and comfortable. Stop in, grab a drink + and sweet treat and take a stroll down the Main Street, read more

The coffee shop is lovely. It has very nice friendly vibe. Service is fast and efficient. They have plenty of pastries and savories in addition to the unique tasty coffee flavor. Pistachio cheese cake has a delicious flavor. The chocolate on top was tasty and sweet but not too sweet. Pistachio croissant was superb as well. This coffee shop has brought a different flavor and a new vibe in comparison to other coffee shops we are used too. read more

I am so glad I found this place. Yemeni coffee is one of my favorites and before finding this place I hadn't found any good spots for it in Saint Louis that compared to Metro Detroit. The drinks and honeycomb here rival the ones from back home I highly recommend this spot and make sure to try the honeycomb! read more

Spacious, high ceiling with a lot of light Yemen coffee shop. It's such a good space to read a book or hangout with friends. Also a good place for desserts after dinner since they open till midnight. I planned to just grab a coffee to go but ended up sitting down and enjoyed my Pistachio Yemen coffee iced latte and honeycomb bread. The server said they made their own pistachio syrup. The Yemen coffee here was roasted with spices such as cardamom, cloves, ginger, etc - very smooth and not overly bitter. My partner got the hot Adeni chai aka karak which is cardamom spiced black tea with milk. It's very creamy and aromatic. Service was amazing. You gotta try it yourself! Highly recommend! read more

My fiancé and I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it! As a first generation Arab American, it was so cool to see a Yemeni cafe that is so beloved in the area. It absolutely is worth the drive from Saint Louis to try any of their tea and coffee drinks as well as their baked goods! You can't go wrong no matter what you order, but I would say the honeycomb bread (a Yemeni classic!) is a must! Having it warm out of the oven with a lovely cup of their chai or coffee and you're all set. The server I believe was one of the two owners and he was really kind and helpful! Overall, we look forward to coming again and bringing friends with us as well! Oh also Mocha Point is one of the only cafes I know in and out of St. Louis that is open super late - they're open most nights until 10 pm and then midnight on the weekends! read more

I absolutely LOVE Mocha Point! Their bakery selection is the most diverse and unique I've ever encountered, with tea, refreshers, and sweet treats that are truly unparalleled. I highly recommend trying the Lotus and Baklava Cheesecake. The ambiance is impeccable, and the team, Sarem and his team are exceptionally attentive, engaging and accomodating. We love this place so much that we had them cater desserts for our wedding and our guests went CRAZY! Everyone loved it so much and working with the team was so seamless and stress-free. Plus every time I go back the menu has expanded, so it is only getting better and better! Everyone in St. Louis and anywhere else needs to check this place out! read more

We went here on 8/21 around 9pm. I was encouraged by the yelp reviews about their sweets. It's a nice space. We weren't greeted and waited quite a while behind a large group. I ordered the pistachio croissant and the bread (the one with 6 tiny rolls). They heated the food (didn't ask for that, just asked for it "to go") and we left. 2 pastries cost 15$. Both of the items were inedible. The pistachio croissant tasted like it had been drying out since the day before and the bread turned into chewy pucks. It took us 15minutes to get to our next destination. So that's how long before I tried both items. I tried to heat them up at home, even attempting to steam them a bit, just gross at that point. If the shop is going sell their pastries past their prime at least sell them half price. We were out 15$ and wished we had chosen a different after dinner spot in St. Charles. Not a great end to a birthday night out. read more

This is our first time in Missouri and Mocha Point Yemeni Coffee. We were impressed with the beverages with bold and comforting flavors. Mocha Point's pastries were delightfully decadent and very sharable. They've created a relaxing and welcoming environment to connect and take your time savoring the moments. The service was engaging, knowledgeable, and you could truly feel the pride in craftsmanship, ownership, and heritage. What a perfect experience to share with others. Mocha Point - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Saint Charles, Missouri

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We visited MochaPoint Coffee today for the first time after hearing good things, and I'm so glad we decided to check it out. This coffee house, inspired by Yemeni heritage, offers an unparalleled experience. Upon arrival, the barista, who also happens to be the owner, welcomed us warmly and offered samples of their Adeni Chai tea. It was delicious! I was looking for something a little more caffeinated, so I opted for an iced Yemeni Latte (espresso, Yemeni spices, and milk). The flavor was extraordinary, with the spices adding a unique and delightful twist. The baked goods were impossible to resist after seeing their fresh display. I tried the honeycomb bread--soft, fluffy fried dough filled with light cheese and glazed with honey and sesame seeds. It was like a bed of savory, delicious donut holes. My mom chose the almond butter croissant, dusted with pistachio, which was light, airy, buttery, and perfectly sweet. While we enjoyed our coffee and food, the barista generously shared samples of their creamy lemon cheesecake with the patrons. After one bite, we decided to take home a slice of peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. The atmosphere is lovely and inviting, with great coffee house vibes and music. There is also outdoor street seating available. I love that this place stays open late--10 pm on weekdays and 12 am on weekends. There's no place like this around St. Charles, perfect for enjoying late-night coffee, tea, and dessert. read more

I live for trying new cafes & finding the perfect combination of atmosphere/ambiance & delicious coffee & food. I ordered the Yemeni Latte & it's uniquely spiced with a strong flavor. I can't get enough of the polished & sophisticated look of this place with decorations and natural lighting. The Yemeni music really helps transport you. They do have food options, but so far are only with sweets. If you have a sweet tooth, are adventurous, & have a passion for exploring elements of other cultures this place is perfect. An added plus is the kind staff! They are located toward the start on Saint Charles Main Street on a street corner. read more

I love this place and coffee. Takes me back home for sure. The only difference between that is a coffee shop in America consists of laptop table hoggers. I have never been able to sit here because people are working or study there all the time. My only con. Pastries and coffee/tea are amazing though. Just wish you guys would put a limit for people who are there. I had to wait an hour and nobody would get up so me and my mom left. read more

Their lattes and pastries are so good!! This is my fave coffee in St. Charles. I wish they had a store in STL. I drove 30+ mins for this place, and I would drive it again! We are staying a block away at an air bnb. Above another coffee/cafe that doesn't open until noon so wondered down the block to the tables that were outside and stumbled upon this cute coffee shop. The chalkboard at the front door drew me in. It is very pretty and welcoming inside. The menu sign said Yemeni coffee and teas. The smell of the coffee and its exotic spicy undertones wafted through the cafe and I was anxious to try some things. We were greeted with samples of one of their brews. I'm not a huge fancy coffee drinker so the spicy factor was not my favorite but I could tell it was well brewed so I'm sure coffee conisours would love! I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant which was outstanding! I've never had one like this before and I am so glad I chose it. I also ordered the dragon fruit refresher which was a little too sweet for me. My dad and husband had almond croissants and agreed they were as good as my pistachio one. Perfectly flaky with a lot of delicious filling! I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other desserts and pastries. So I would say if you'd like to try different types of coffee this is a great place to go... I more enjoyed the atmosphere and the pastries. Definitely stop by when it's not too crowded and enjoy your time there. read more

The moment we entered, we were greeted by the most delightful aroma: coffee with spices. The place was full of people! Indeed, we were highly encouraged to go here by my daughter, and the place appears to be getting quite popular. The young man behind the counter was very friendly, engaging, and hospitable and answered all our many questions about the Yemeni coffee and tea menu options, even providing a couple of samples. (All coffee beans used are sourced from Yemen, which I had never tried before.) I ended up getting a pour over, which was richly flavored, yet smooth. I found it delicious! Hubby got the Yemeni latte, which is a latte lightly spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves and sweetened with vanilla syrup. Good and unique. The baklava was very good (but very tiny) -- moist and very sweet with flaky crust and minced nuts -- though I might've preferred to have it slightly warmed. The ambience is that of a Middle Eastern (natch) cafe. It's not a super cozy cafe, consisting only of tables with somewhat uncomfortable chairs; there are no comfy lounge chairs, sofas, fireplaces, etc, which I look for in a homey coffee place, but that's just a personal preference. The bathrooms were incongruous with the vibe of the gently lit and muted tones of the main space (suddenly walking in to super bright lights and vibrant blue walls), but that's a mere quibble. The main thing is that there was absolutely no toilet paper, and the paper towel dispensed 3 inches of towel at a time. The room was kinda grimy, too, but not so bad that I felt yucky using it. Just a heads up, if you care about that sort of thing. (I do, because I look at places through "mom eyes.") Also in the bathroom (!), I saw a sign about their loyalty rewards program, which we were not told about or offered while ordering at the counter. It was my birthday, so I could've gotten a free drink and $5 off our first order for joining. Why wasn't this sign prominently displayed at the counter?! We would've signed up in a heartbeat! Bottom line: If you're looking for a unique coffee/tea/dessert experience in the heart of St. Charles, look no further! They also sell locally roasted Yemeni coffee beans. read more
