Not sure if there's an upstairs but definitely a fun place. Love when my mocha latte has a blended chocolate flavor and balanced with the coffee. They had a nice pastry assortment as well that we will have to try next time!

When you enter, it's very small but very well put together décor wise. Each area had signs that discouraged movement of their furniture and had its own kind of theme. I was meeting up with a friend and her daughter and unfortunately did not realize they had the typical café hours (closed at 2pm) so my visit was very quick (30 minutes) and I had to rush my conversation. I ordered an iced Monstera Mint latte and chocolate coffee cake slice. When the barista called up my order, I repeated my order asking if it's mine (they don't use a name system) and apparently *I* mispronounced MONSTERA because she turned her back and said within earshot to her coworker how I did not pronounce it correctly and why do people say it incorrectly. I am not a big plant person so excuse me for not knowing how every single plant name is pronounced. I know people vent at work, but it made me feel uncomfortable the rest of my visit, so I was glad it was almost time to leave before they closed. Vent after customers leave if you have to.... Anyways, my MONSTER-AH mint latte was good, but the chocolate coffee cake was a bit too dry for me. And service could have been a bit more professional in my opinion.

We also got the Dubai chocolate cheesecake along with the sweet pistachio croissant and those were out of this world. The cheesecake is extremely rich and a slice could easily be shared amongst 2-4 people. Same goes for the croissant, could be shared amongst 2-3 people. Service was very fast and friendly and the location was very clean. Don't usually write a review but our beverages and sweets pried one out of me as they were amazing!!

We were welcomed in and got in line to place our order. The case of pastries is fun to look at! We ordered and sat down to wait. Our coffee and food were good, but having been there before, we knew they would be. What I enjoy just as much as the menu items, is looking at the beautiful clothing that some of the women wear. I don't know all the correct words for the traditional clothing they wear and don't want to be disrespectful and use the wrong words! But some of them are absolutely gorgeous! Some of the men also wear their traditional clothing. I make an effort to not look too much, but some of the garments are hard to look away from! Go for the coffee and pastries, and enjoy seeing the traditional garments!

We walked inside and saw there was a line of 2-3 people ahead of us. We saw a man to the side who injected himself since he was waiting on a drink and we saw that he was forgotten and no one had made his drink. He was nice about it but I could tell he was upset. There were two cashiers and when it was finally our turn based off our receipt Kenzie D took our order. We ordered peanut butter smoothie, an americano, a cinnamon scone and pumpkin bread. Any sort of customer service went out the window. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no acknowledgment of him finishing inputting an item down to get the next one. I say this because I asked for pumpkin bread and it was forgotten. I didn't even want it after seeing how long it took others to get their order. You would think that you would get your order right after the person in front of you orders but no, two people from groups that ordered after us received their order and we were left there standing waiting for 10-15 minutes. We thought that was the worst of it... We went outside to sit with the in-laws and friends and they were like "that took awhile..." and I told them there was only 3 people ahead of us and that's when they told us what happened to them. My mother in law ordered a drink and so did my father in law. My father in law received his drink and was waiting for a really long time for my mother in laws. So long that he spoke to one of the women passing out orders to check to see if it was done yet. She told him he would need to get in line and order it since they didn't receive it. There was a line and he already waited and didn't want to get back in line so he spoke to the manager and the manager said he heard the exchange and didn't say anything to make it right. So my father in law was like forget it and it just went outside to sit with the rest of the group. The manager came out and gave a disgusted look and gave my mother in law a drink. Then friends also confirmed that he was not nice at all when he came out and probably did it out of spite. I saw she had finished it and gasped because knowing the food industry he probably spit in that drink. Needless to say none of us will be going back to this place. There is no such thing as hospitality here or making things right. And I found out that the cashier that rang us out was the manager? Smh... As much as food or drinks can taste good, not having taste in your service can affect the experience so much so it can't rectify what's been done. Couldn't eat the scone after two bites and the peanut butter smoothie was melty with chunks of banana. I'll stick to supporting pj's and smoothie king.

I was pleasantly surprised with everything. When you walk in, you grab your own menu and you seat yourself. They have high top tables, booths, low tables and a conversation area with comfy furniture. You place your order at the counter and pay ahead. They give you a number to place on your table and they bring your food out. The first thing that impressed me is that the food menu is local and organic. They offer organic coffees, so many teas and tea accessories, herbs. Their cafe menu has many vegan and vegetarian options. The service was friendly and helpful. Our drink order came out almost immediately, and our food came out fairly quickly. I really enjoyed my breakfast bowl that I added avocado. It was quite nourishing and flavorful. I don't know how they cooked the sweet potatoes absolutely perfect. I also ordered a protein cookie to eat later. What absolutely blew me away was my lavender Matcha iced drink. It was the best Matcha I've ever had. They also have an area with various hot sauces and so many flavors of infused, honey. They have various types of sugar, agave and Stevia, but you will not find any Splenda or equal here. So if you are sugar-free and don't like Stevia, bring some from home. I really liked the whole vibe of this place, the food and the beverages. I will definitely be back soon. Please note that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Their tea selection is excellent, with flavorful herbal blends that also focus on wellness and immunity, plus mushroom coffees and a few gluten-free sweet treats. My husband loved the avocado toast, and I had the eggs and greens (small), which was surprisingly filling and delicious. Everything comes beautifully topped with fresh microgreens. Groovy music, a cute little kids' area, and a peaceful atmosphere made it an especially relaxing stop on a rainy day. I hear it gets busy on Saturdays, and I can see why -- it's a unique, welcoming spot. I gave it a 4 star because you have to order at the table.
