Nice restaurant. Lot outside. First time trying the chimney. It was very good. They make it to order. It was smoking hot! Only soft service in the chimney. It was good/solid. Got the pistachio.

The Chimney Cakes were very good! After you order there is a bit of a wait, because they make each one fresh. They had roll the dough and bake them, then roll it in the topping & fill it with soft serve ice cream ice cream. They were really busy on Friday evening when we were there. Some people came in just for hand scooped ice cream or shakes. They also have coffee drinks. The parking lot can get pretty crowded.
I visited this place with a friend for a late-night snack, and I discovered it's very popular on TikTok for its Dubai chocolate. My friend had been here before and enjoyed it, so I thought it was worth a try. I ordered the waffle with Nutella and banana slices. The presentation was appealing, and the waffle was warm, cut into four pieces, and generously doused in Nutella. There was also what I think was a banana sauce. I really enjoyed it and would rate it 9/10. I also tried the Dubai chocolate, which I found to be decent. While it was tasty, it wouldn't be my first choice if I returned. I would give it a 7/10; I could taste the chocolate and strawberry flavors, but I couldn't really taste the pistachio. The service was quick, and the person at the counter was friendly. The place was packed, with people arriving even close to closing time, which shows how much people love these treats. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I recommend checking it out for yourself and forming your own opinion!
Worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Immediately walked in to very friendly service, an easy to read menu, and TONS of options! Plenty of inside seating & a small cozy patio so you can enjoy your treats anywhere. :) We came for the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup but also ended up snagging a churro ice cream cone with fruity pebbles. The churro cones are made fresh right in front of you, and the taste is incredible. The strawberry Dubai cup was so fresh, each strawberry so juicy, and the chocolate just perfect. Will return ASAP!
The service was fast and efficient. The place has many options to choose from with different ice creams flavors and desserts. There was plenty of seating as well with good aesthetic. I got the Dubai Habba cake. It was very chocolatey and delicious. The cake was a light and airy. I did wish the chocolate and pistachios icing on top was fresh but it seemed like it was sitting on top for a while. Overall, it was a good treat and would love to come back to try the ice creams flavors
The service was excellent when entering the building. There was a line however they had plenty of employees to handle the late night rush. They are open until midnight.. the shake was unreal. Their flavors and ice cream being smooth is incredible. The strawberry cup with pistachio is their big seller. You cannot go wrong with this choice as well. 5 star desert location for me !!! I hope they can expand to a larger location. They deserve the hype and success that they are receiving.
They bake the cone fresh. New flavors and a fresh idea. Delicious treat! I tried to he classic today with vanilla ice cream.
These things are so delicious! You can def share one with someone. Highly recommend the oreo flavor. We went on a sunday night at 10pm and it was no line and very peaceful. not overstimulating at all!
We came specifically for the Dubai chocolate strawberries and they did not disappoint! They were absolutely delicious! I believe they were about $18 each but the cup was quite large. The service was super nice and we received our items quickly. It's a pretty small store with only a few tables but it wasn't too crowded so we were able to get a table.
This place is getting popular for a reason! An unassuming storefront in a little shopping center (somewhat limited parking), it's definitely worth stopping by. I've been wanting to try this place for years, I honestly didn't know what a chimney cake was! Went there with my high schooler. She got the Oreo chimney cake (very yummy) and I got the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and wow was it delicious. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Flavors are really well done, interesting with enjoyable texture contrasts. Treat your self! The service was good, it took a bit because of the line and they seem to be making everything fresh!

Was not prepared for messy it can get, but so worth it! It is a little shop on the corner off manchester. There was a decent sized parking lot, but it was PACKED when I went around 12:30pm on a friday! Regardless, service was friendly and informative. Also I appreciate the guy who helped us because before I left he suggest I use the restroom to clean up so I did and saw that there was sauce on my nose LOL. I ordered the lotus cake and sat on the side bar. Wow. JUST WOW. My bf didn't want one but I made him try it and even he said wow out loud! The cake was piping hot so it melted some ice cream but in the best way. Make sure to grab a glove so you can rip off some cake to scoop ice cream and get some lotus flavoring in there. I found that as the best way to eat it. The cake wasn't a traditional cake, but more so a sturdier croissant shell. Someone in the shop tried comparing it to a churro, but I disagree. I have been trying to go here for weeks but couldn't bring myself because all the dinners i've been having lately had me feeling too full. I came here on an empty stomach and am glad I did because if I had lunch or dinner prior to this, I don't think I could've enjoyed it the way it should be enjoyed nor finish it in time before it melted! I already have been sending this link to all my friends to try! And I need to come back to try other flavors!

We got the classic with the chocolate/vanilla ice cream. It was really good. The service was nice. The guy was friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our treat. The ambiance was small place. It's a little dated but that's okay. The biggest perk is that it's open until midnight. The parking lot is pretty decent. read more

Not too bad for desserts. Went here twice and got two different flavours. Pistachio flavour was a bit lacking and it got way too sweet towards the end. The chimney cake roll was good though. read more
This is such a great dessert spot! They are open late for a post dinner sweet treat and also have lots of coffee options on the menu. We had a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup which I am a huge fan of, and a lotus chimney cake. They were both very tasty. Service was quick, the ambiance is nice but the shop is quite small so seating is hard to come by. Would go back. read more

Wow! What a different take on an ice cream dessert. Soft serve in vanilla, chocolate or mix whirled into a toasted twirl of a cake. The cake comes in different flavors. Besides the twisted cake dessert there are other dessert choices on the menu. A small restaurant, very busy on a Sunday night. You can see your cake being made. Fun and unique shop. read more

My friends recommended this spot to me, so I had to go check it out for myself! If you're coming from the East side, it's right before Aldi's and Bread Co. Drive a bit slower when you're close by because I almost drove past it. As soon as you walk in, you notice the space is small with few seats and bar top stools. It was my first time hearing about Hungarian Chimney Cake. They already had me at "Cake", so I was excited to try it out! My mom ordered the Pistachio and I ordered their Lotus (Biscoff) Chimney Cake with Vanilla Ice Creams. Presentation of the Chimney, already gets you salivating. They were so delicious! My mom said she can't finish hers' so I can take some, however, she ended up eating it all! Chimney Cake reminds me of Warm Cinnamon Roll and it was absolutely perfect with the cold ice cream on top. It does get messy when you try to eat the cake part, but they conveniently have gloves for you, so it'll be easier to eat the cake. They also have waffles, crepes, and shakes! This place is great for desserts. The twisted cake with ice cream which is the chimney cake tastes great and has 9 flavors. This was our first time trying this place today. If you want something else, they have shakes, waffles, crepes, mini pancakes, Italian soda and ice creams of variety of flavors. This place is smaller in size and has about three tables to sit near the window and two other sitting areas to the left of the cash register. I had no idea this cute, unique ice cream shop existed until just couple days ago and I had to try it asap! My family and I arrived around 6pm and there was a big group just left. We ordered and got a table right away. While we were waiting for our ice cream, maybe 10-15 mins, the whole store was filled with people! It was crazy!!! We got the classic, Oreo and Pistachio chimneys. You can pick between vanilla, chocolate or mix for your ice cream. There's a cookie at the bottom of the ice cream to prevent the heat from the cake melting the ice cream on top. The ice cream was really good along with the bread that made into twisted chimney. My Aunt and I went to Twisted Rolls Chimney Cake on a Friday for one specific reason, the Dubai Strawberries. We have watched dozens of TikTok videos about them and we had been wanting to taste them. The place is small and was totally mobbed. I ordered the Dubai Strawberries and she ordered the coconut Original Chimney Cake. The chimney cake is basically a cone shaped waffle made to order and filled with soft serve and sprinkled with coconut. It was fresh and very good but nothing I'd go out of my way for. The Dubai Strawberries were sublime! I'd eat these every day. They are rich and creamy. If I'm giving notes I would have preferred more Kataifi (shredded pastry dough) because I really appreciated the texture it added. I'll be back and I'll be ordering the strawberries. It appears everyone else agrees because they must have served 15 orders of them while we were sitting there pigging out! read more
The new late night spot in St. Louis county! Unlike any dessert I've ever had before, complete with gloves to really get into it. You have to try one of the chimney cones, it's like an elevated churro as a cone for delicious soft serve (but much better than I can explain). The milkshakes are also amazing. YUM. I was excited to see chimney cakes in the midwest. The place itself is tiny in a strip mall, could use a nicer atmosphere but the staff were nice. The treats are pricey and take a while to prepare because they are each made to order - you can watch! Very delicious and worth the price/wait for the chimney cake. The soft serve ice cream could use some improvement, though - it was a bit icey, not creamy/silky enough. They also have regular ice cream but it's by Hershey. read more
Prepare to be transported! It smells heavenly, the staff is SO friendly as they explain the menu, which offers a European style of dessert that's a warm, crispy shell filled with decadent ice cream and toppings. I opted for the pistachio shake that I thought I'd savor slowly, but it was so rich and delicious that I drank it all in record time. My friends opted for the coconut and the classic and raved about the crispy shell. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors! The chimney cake is a sweet bread that crispy outside and deliciously soft and fluffy inside. They make your cone fresh to order. There are 9 flavors you can choose from. Here they offer fresh soft serve vanilla, chocolate or mix. Hot pastry and soft serve ice cream make the best combo!!! I got the pistachio with vanilla soft serve. It's beautiful and delicious!!! Wow, I was surprised by how much I liked this. It seemed a bit pricy, but then I saw how large it was, so I understood. The chimney cakes are cooked/heated fresh you order them (I think cones may be premade), so it took about ten minutes. But that meant that it was hot when I got and ate it. Texture is like the outside of a soft pretzel, but more dense/chewy. The cake had a light sweetness, and the pistachio bits & dusting stood out well. Putting the pistachio flavored glaze/sauce topped it all off. These are very good. read more
This is a new clean and local establishment in Ballwin, and it is the best ice cream in STL county hands down! It hasn't even been open a month. It's located in a busy area with plenty of small shops nearby. The lotus biscoff chimney cake is mouth watering. The chimney cake is delicious idk how to even explain how good it is. They had a variety of ice creams, shakes and smoothies. Service was quick as well and everyone inside the shop was so friendly. Can't wait to take more of my friends and family when they are visiting! You definitely want to give this a try because you won't regret it. read more

Treated myself to a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup for my birthday and was not disappointed! The strawberries were huge and super fresh and juicy. The flavors of the toppings and chocolate mixture are amazing. The inside is small but very clean, with a couple of tables and a high top bar area. Was greeted when I walked in and after ordering it was ready super quick. I will 100% be back to try more deserts and Highly recommend. read more

We had an excellent experience at Twisted Rolls on a Friday afternoon. I split an Oreo one with my daughter and it was plenty to share. The person at the counter was really friendly and explained the process with us as first timers. He gave us lots of napkins and suggested a box of gloves to pull apart the roll if we didn't want to get too messy. It was a fun dessert and really delicious. We will definitely be back to try more flavors. read more
