We went with Euro dark, birthday cake, salted caramel, champagne, raspberry, and root beer! We booked the free tour for our group ahead of time, and I would recommend that, especially at busier times of the year. Parking was easy, and there were plenty of signs offering direction. Our tour lasted approximately 20-30 minutes and our guide was friendly and patient with our excited group of kids who needed an occasional reminder to stay back from the chain dividing the tour group area from the production floor. The kids were fascinated, and it was cool to watch the chocolatiers in action, slicing caramel slabs into squares to be turned into hundreds and hundreds of candies. The sample chocolates at the end of the tour were delicious! We got to choose between chocolate peppermint bars and caramel snowmen. Next time, I'd like to make a stop in the cafe and see what that's about.

However the Sendvic is another classic in our household, either with the sudzuka or the beef bacon added. Honestly everything on their menu is amazing. It does get very busy on weekends so head there early (sometimes even right when it's open during special weekends!).

I understand they don't serve pork here, but the Beef Bacon was not her favorite. I got the Breakfast Pide. I thought I ordered sausage on top, but instead received something similar to Pepperoni. Regardless, I enjoyed my meal. The service was definitely the weakest part of our experience. We did not encounter one "friendly" staff member. They all ranged from cordial to rude. I smile, he is stone faced. I go to open the door as he walks away. The door is locked. I try a few more times, thinking maybe it's me. I look around at the hours again, but next to it is a "we're open" sign. I try maybe 3-4 times more before I give up. I walk to the window and he's sitting at a table toward the back, looking at me. We just look at each other, then he looks at his computer. I turn toward my car, then turn back around and he's still looking at me! I sat in my car, confused. He never looked back up from his computer, so I left. Highly disappointed.

It allows people to gather eat a sweet treat and have general conversation conversations where you can actually hear one another. They do have outside seating too. The chocolate cake was soft and as a non-cake lover I found this very delicious. Definitely worthy of sharing. I ordered a quiche to go. I had mentioned they didn't have the spinach feta pastry that I had before. The gentleman stated we have some in the back, I'm happy to get you one. So I ordered that too. And although this was only our second time coming, the fact that they'll make a fresh pot of coffee in my opinion is key to a great café. I will keep this in my rotation of places to go.

I am not much of a sweet eater, hence the Roast Beef sandwich love but every once in a while, there is a sweet treat that I really love and this was one of those times! I ended up getting those -- and I highly recommend stopping in to get those if that is what you want! 5 stars for the apples!!! However, I thought there would be a selection of other candies - things I might buy for my little nieces' trick or treat goodie bags. I was hoping to get a few handmade treats. There was just not much at all. So I only bought the apples. I can get those at the grocery stores. So less stars for the non-existent candies. Maybe there is more selection at another time of year. So, I may go back again to see what else might show up to buy - because I do have a sweet tooth that makes me hopeful - but I'll go with realistic expectations. Maybe I'll find out why it is called a candy store...???
