The service was great I inquired about many flavors and was able to taste as many and I inquired about before deciding on a Honeycomb candy waffle cone, it had toffee and sugar Honeycomb prices in the ice cream it was a pleasantly good choice. There's cakes and candies available for purchase as well and you can get a shake made out of any of the ice cream flavors available. Its decorated cutesy as an ice cream parlor should be with pretty pastel colors and ice cream decorations all over. Best kept nostalgic secret! I love this shop on main. When I walk up or even by I feel like I need to whip out a poodle skirt and I'm apart of the movie Grease! To begin the ice cream flavors are unique and I enjoyed trying a few. My mom didn't want anything the day I brought her in but, she saw the word egg cream and was transported back to the 60s & 70s when my grandpa and his brother owned a candy/ice cream shop in Brooklyn. Egg creams were a staple there. I went with a malt. Each month I make sure to look into their monster shakes. See the owner she makes a super epic shake with cakes, cookies, sprinkles, and other fun surprises that are themed for each month. My kids shared one generous scoop of the chocolate ice cream whereas my husband and I shared the Sugarbot Sundae (2 scoops of ice cream, one baked good, one topping, whipped cream and a cherry). Cute Ice Cream shop! Gives you that old Ice Cream Counter/Shop Vibe. We ventured in after patronizing another Ice Cream shop nearby. Out of the 4 of us, one person wanted a Shake. So after walking a few stores down the Street, we entered. Immediately the two ladies behind the counter yelled that we could not enter the store ("excuse me"). Then one of them explained that because of an Ordinace you can't bring "outside" food inside....oooh ok, well explain that to the kid that just wants to order a Shake! Also, try greeting and saying Hello before yelling at people across the "Parlor"! We were able to finally order the shake and I was told it was good. Can't say I will be back though. read more

We've come there a few times. The Malts and sundaes have always been excellent. The ordering process is annoying tho. One person takes part of your order then another person asks if you've been helped and then takes another part and so on and at the end they figure up at the register what you have, it's like that every time. Ordered a piece of gooey butter cake but you cannot buy a glass a milk to Wash it down with because it's not "on the menu" which is the dumbest thing I've heard, laughing because he's saying this as the girl is standing next to him with a gallon in her hand. This last time they brought the chocolate malt to the table and it was spilling over the sides and the table. The girl just said oh sorry and walks away. The napkin holder was empty and had to switch it out from another table. Kids like to come here for the candy cigs as well. Should probably figure out a better system for taking ordering. read more

I have been here multiple times now and loved it. Sugar Bot's has an old fashioned ice cream shop look right down to the counter, stools, dishes, etc. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have a lot of choices on the menu like phosphates, sundaes, Gooey Butter Shakes, and much more but I've just gotten scoops of ice cream each time. Most recently it was Peanut Butter Bliss. They have all been awesome. We always eat there (as opposed to carry out) because it's fun to sit in a booth eating out of a glass ice cream dish. Decor is cute and welcoming. This place was so cute! It looked nothing like the pictures on Yelp with the blue walls. It seemed to be remodeled and was super aesthetic. I liked the overall classic vibe. If only I took a picture. The little one lost her first tooth, then, like a boss, plucked the neighboring tooth. To celebrate, she chose ice cream at Little O's. The little fat kid in me squealed at the chance to try a gooey butter cake shake (the responsible, boring, do-good kid had won the battle up to this point). Little O's is a charming little joint. It is almost as if the decorations had been partially updated to 70s decor from a classic 50s malt shop, with certain modern luxuries. Sounds like an insult, but it's not in the least. Part of the charm is the decor. That being said, after being given our delicious treats, we sat at the booth closest to the tv and the table was terribly wobbly; this isn't the only issue, but speaks to a need: the shop needs a lot of care. That marks the end of any negative aspect to the experience. My lady declined any ice cream, so I insisted she share the shake with me. We opted for the chocolate chip gooey butter cake in the shake and, spoonful after spoonful, we brought it to its last few bites - I never eat the last bite or two of anything, leaving it for some silly, unknown reason. The little one got the superman ice cream(?), which is a rich spread of colors and as creamy as good ice cream should be. She slurped and bit at the giant cone, while consumed by the movie on the tv. After the 70% of the ice cream that avoided her lips and cheeks was eaten, we cleaned up and prepared to walk off some of the calories. Three stars always seems bad, but each reviewer's mindset needs to be understood. It isn't that the food or experience here is bad. Matter of fact, the employees were very friendly and patient with a six year old trying to focus on anything but ice cream. The shop needs to have improvements made, but what they do, they do really well. Ice cream. Gooey butter cake. Seven times in the last four weeks, these folks have closed early or not even opened (it's snowing, it's slow, I have a Cub Scouts event tonight...) So if you plan to go, good luck with that... call first, at least. A suggestion to the owners: Yes, O, it's winter, but suck it up already. Hire someone who can show up when you have a conflict. If it's absolutely unsafe and the highway department says to stay off the road, sure, call it off - but otherwise, put on your galoshes and get to work. I tried the gooey butter cake for the first time here and when my mom asked me how it was, I really couldn't describe it to her (I generally break tastes down relatively easily)-gooey butter cake really has a unique taste to it. And a slice of this cake is pretty cheap (it cost me about 3 bucks if I remember correctly). So I would definitely recommend trying this place out. Shake it up, leave the phosphate soda behind & DO TAKE A RIDE ON THE HORSE! I really enjoyed the Gooey Butter Cake Shake with a actual slice of Gooey Butter Cake blended inside. The straw wide enough to suck up a plain M&M made it easier to eat/drink. The soda jerk made me a phosphate soda without phosphate (used to be used to create gas of soda till found poisonous & replaced by carbon dioxide). I order raspberry & thought is was OK but not worth $2.50. The real bargain was the "50 cent" ride.
