Jasmine Milk Tea and MIXUE Soft Serve
Ayden P.

What I Ordered: Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba ($4) MIXUE Soft Serve ($1.19) Food: Jasmine Milk Tea was great for the price. It is almost impossible to find $4 milk teas with boba in this economy, so it was refreshing to find a drink shop with actually reasonable prices. The 100% sweetness is their regular, and it was way too sweet for me. I was able to taste the syrup more than the actual flavor of the milk tea. The boba pearls were great quality with perfect consistency and chewiness! I don't think I would come here frequently for the boba, but I would come here to find something that gets the job done of having a boba craving for a cheap price. MIXUE Soft Serve is what their most famous for, as it is only a little over a dollar. This is again an amazing price in this economy. The soft serve has a good milk flavor with a bit of vanilla. The flavor of the milk is much more present versus the vanilla. I would actually come back just for the ice cream cone as it was delicious. Staff: Service was very quick and orders were taken through the kiosk. Ambiance: Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking spaces in the plaza.

Really great and such a great value and fast. So glad we got to try it and they have plenty of parking and you can order at the kiosk and they call you by the name. The ice cream yogurt was good too. The tea was good but on the sweeter side.

I've never seen a tea float before so I was really excited to try one. I got jasmine tea 100% sweetness w/ regular soft serve. So yummy. My husband had the strawberry sundae & he loved it too. Both of us really enjoy dessert, so if you're an "ah not too sweet" kind of person, this isn't the place for you. It's located close to nature so be wary of local critters (rats) scurrying around outside.

I love soft serve, and for the price, you really can't beat the quality. It makes a great post-lunch or post-dinner treat! As someone who is calorie-conscious, I appreciate having the calorie count available at around 150 calories, the cone is very reasonable. I also got a drink for under $5 with a topping already included. That's almost unheard of nowadays, with boba prices usually running between $6 and $9. Overall, I had a great experience. My only complaints are that I wish I lived closer and that they stayed open later!

Fun spot! Got ice cream (~$1.20) and mango sundae (~$4). The ice cream and sundae were enjoyable. The ice cream tasted a bit more icy than creamy like and tasted a bit artificial, but the flavor is still good and the prices are unbeatable for dessert.

Have you tried the new Mixue Ice Cream & Tea at the Quail Hill Shopping Center? It's Chinese based Ice Cream and Tea. This is what I ordered: MIXUE Fresh Lemonade -super fresh and refreshing! Sweet Mango Jam with Soft Serve -super delicious and creamy with mango jam MIXUE Soft Serve - super creamy on a cone They have cute merch and blind boxes. Everything is under $5. It is affordable and it is so delicious. Order yours via kiosk or @Fantuan_oc app. You have to try it the next time you are in Irvine.

Matcha Latte & Pearl Milk Tea

Great for budget-conscious people who aren't picky about taste. The former boba shop, Tea Maru, is closed, and this new store opened on 06/06/2026. Matcha Latte with taro balls and almond jelly at 100% sugar ($5.48). Classic Pearl Milk Tea at 100% sugar ($3.99). I only order the medium size, but the portion feels pretty generous--almost equivalent to a large at other places. The tea base is very average and tastes like artificial flavorings. The tapioca pearls are soft and chewy, and the taro balls are decent. I strongly recommend asking for 30% to 50% sugar. Full sweetness (100% is their default) is absurdly sweet--even as someone with a massive sweet tooth, I can't handle it! If you aren't worried about diabetes, you can even challenge their 200% sugar option, lol. This place focuses on low prices, costing about 60% of what other shops charge. Honestly, I'd rather spend a bit more money somewhere else instead of drinking this cheap, heavily processed "triple-artificial" concoction--artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, and artificial dyes!

Came to try the viral $1 ice cream! Service is quick and they hand you the cone within minutes after ordering. Have tried two of their drinks (peach oolong tea and the grape taro ball) and it was just alright. Def would return for the ice cream

Tried for the first time this past week. I got the affogato latte which is an unsweetened milky coffee with a small dollop of their soft serve. There is ice in the drink which I was not expecting. I kinda wish it had more soft serve and just coffee over the top, but it was fine. Just icy and hard to drink/too much liquid to eat with a spoon. I also tried the cherry green tea which was delicious! I would get that again! Their sizes are also large which is always a nice surprise! I got it with coconut jelly which wasn't the best so I might try their boba next time.

My sister was excited when this shop opened and wanted to come after not being able to try it during her vacation. We've been here a few times since opening and each time they have a line going out the door but it moves relatively quickly. The claim to fame can be attributed to its low priced quality cones or nvidia Jensen Huang's food tour/review of their drink. The staff has been extra friendly and helpful and can walk through the menu with you as well. In my opinion, their ice cream cone is the star as it's cheap and tastes great. They have a few different flavor options as well. I've tried some of their drinks and I'd only recommend the strawberry jasmine tea. All the other ones I've had did not taste good.

Vanilla Soft Serve

While I was expecting a long line during a special opening weekend for Mixue, Mixue staff handled customers well, and my friends and I were able to take advantage of their opening promotion. I tried their mango fruit tea and also got to try their signature vanilla soft serve. The mango fruit tea was refreshing & fruity without being overly sweet, which made it a wonderful drink on a warm day. The vanilla soft serve was creamy, smooth, and a great treat!

For the price, there's no beating this ice cream. I've definitely had better quality ice cream, but it wasn't bad and for $1.19 I'll definitely take it. Space was quite chaotic when I went but the staff was overall nice. The bad was the boba quality - extremely squishy and the tea quality wasn't great. The prices of the drinks weren't super high either, but not super cheap like the ice cream. Overall would be back for the ice cream but wouldn't get the drinks again.

We were nearby so decided to make a stop and try Mixue. We ordered through the self kiosk and picked up our ice cream and drinks at the counter when our number was called. The matcha and vanilla was very good and smooth. It was definitely a good soft serve. It is not a lot of ice cream but it was good value for the price. Affordable and convenient. For those who aren't interested in soft serve, there are also drinks available. We ended up getting the jasmine tea, lemon black tea, and orange fruit tea. Everything was refreshing and perfect level of sweet. It all tasted freshly brewed as well. We were amazed by the amount of care taken into making the soft serve good and same with the taste of the drinks. We would definitely come back!

This place was amazing! For those who have a nut allergy, their granola is nut free which I love…read moreand they put their granola nutrition ingredients list in front. I got the small razz party acai bowl and it was already filling 12.75. would come again

On such a hot day. I was craving something fresh and nutritious after church…read more My Yelp friends led me here, and when I first walked in, there was a little bit of a line which I usually interpret as a good sign. I spent about $14 for an açai bowl their tropical mango bowl I believe. I had some modifications since I didn't like the raw coconut offering or the banana so I opted for sliced almonds and extra mango with almond butter on top. After waiting a few minutes, looking at the bowl, it didn't look like much and sadly it didn't taste like much either. The almond butter was globed on top and made it really difficult to eat. After bypassing the almond butter I was able to get into the açai which was way too sweet. I'm not sure what type of açai they use, but it did not taste like a freshly prepared açai it tasted more artificial and overly sweet. It may have also been sweet because of the honey I believe they put on top of it. The combination of the açai with the honey and then almond butter was way too sweet. The mango was OK not as firm as I would want it to be and the granola was at the bottom at the bowl and also sprinkled on top, but unfortunately it was the worst acai bowl I've ever had. Parking is free and they do offer a few seats inside. The staff was also really nice but unfortunately, if I do decide to come back maybe I'll try a smoothie instead.

A hidden gem in Irvine!…read more Great breakfast/coffee spot. Have been here a few times and each time has been a great experience. Food and coffee is consistently good. The ambiance is perfect for hanging out or getting work done. Coffee wise, have tried the Nutella Madeleine and their seasonal Pumpkin Latte. You can completely customize each drink when ordering which is so nice. Both drinks were fantastic, with the Nutella one being my fave. Food wise, the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich was delicious. Perfect size for breakfast. Great vibe here. Staff was very friendly. The whole place is super clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Honestly disappointing, especially what appears to be good reviews of this place…read more The only positive factor I can remember is how much seating there is inside (lots of people just meeting up, working, etc). - You order on two available consoles, which you think would help with efficiency and workflow (it was pretty busy when I got there). However, it took my drink a while to come out. There was a sign above the consoles that indicate ETA of the drink. Based on the color I thought it would be a quick wait but it ended up taking 15 minutes. It seems like the coffee station, manned by one person it seems, was cranking out multiple drinks whereas the drink I got (matcha) took a long time - this is despite me being one of few matcha drinks ordered when I was waiting... - I noticed that as the barista was whisking my drink, she took the whisk out, took a look at the whisk then with her bare hands touched the tip of the whisk and reinserted it into the cup.. all without washing her hands or using gloves... I honestly wanted to say something but I was already in a rush and didn't want to make a scene at an already busy hour and the barista looked kind of frazzled already... - If you are hoping for a strong matcha, this isn't the place to go to. I got the blueberry matcha, which was a pale green in a color and it tasted like a premade mix of blueberry matcha.. although calling it matcha may be a bit generous as the drink just tasted like blueberry milk...Not sure if I'll be coming back.. not for matcha any way
