On such a hot day. I was craving something fresh and nutritious after church. My Yelp friends led me here, and when I first walked in, there was a little bit of a line which I usually interpret as a good sign. I spent about $14 for an açai bowl their tropical mango bowl I believe. I had some modifications since I didn't like the raw coconut offering or the banana so I opted for sliced almonds and extra mango with almond butter on top. After waiting a few minutes, looking at the bowl, it didn't look like much and sadly it didn't taste like much either. The almond butter was globed on top and made it really difficult to eat. After bypassing the almond butter I was able to get into the açai which was way too sweet. I'm not sure what type of açai they use, but it did not taste like a freshly prepared açai it tasted more artificial and overly sweet. It may have also been sweet because of the honey I believe they put on top of it. The combination of the açai with the honey and then almond butter was way too sweet. The mango was OK not as firm as I would want it to be and the granola was at the bottom at the bowl and also sprinkled on top, but unfortunately it was the worst acai bowl I've ever had. Parking is free and they do offer a few seats inside. The staff was also really nice but unfortunately, if I do decide to come back maybe I'll try a smoothie instead. read more

Paradise bowls has been my go-to acai bowl place since high school! The acai mixture is thick and substantial which is something I always look for in acai because I don't love when acai bowls are runny. Paradise's ingredients are fresh and their granola is delicious. Sometimes the orders do get slightly backed up so I usually call ahead or use their online platform to order, and my bowl is always ready when I get there. Perfect place to go for the summer if you're looking for a light lunch or refreshing snack! They have indoor and outdoor seating and the indoor vibe is nice and decorated with surf decorations. However I do prefer sitting in the outside chairs and tables just because the blenders get a bit loud. I usually love paradise bowls, but this experience was horrible. They forgot to remove the plastic wrapper of the acai packet before blending and there were bits of plastic of all sizes in my acai bowl. Not sure if I noticed before consuming any but this is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, there is no way to contact their management service/branch by email. The bowls here are all pretty good! You can taste how fresh everything is and you feel good eating it. The smoothies are better than the bowls imo but you can't really go wrong either way. Service is always really quick too so this is a great spot to hit if you're in a hurry but want something nutritious! It tastes artificial, super sour almost carbonated , and five minutes after a couple sips I already had a stomach ache. Went there today (Monday) around 2pm and the minute I walk in one of the male workers is sitting on the kitchen counter where they prep the bowls. Talk about infection control issue. Anyway I order a bowl which was good but overall the cleanliness was pretty bad. He had gloves on and he's touching his undershirt and then touching the food item and using the blender. They consistently have fresh fruit, delicious acai and pitaya bases, and amazing combinations of flavors. Our favorite is the Chocolate Arc. It has the perfect amount of peanut butter, strawberries, and honey with cacao nibs on top! My husband orders the Peanut Butter Delight smoothie (switches out the regular almond milk for chocolate almond milk) for a smoothie version of the Chocolate Arc! The quality has been consistent and the taste this delicious for YEARS. My favorite bowl is their cocoa arc, which is so perfectly balanced with the chocolate almond milk and different fruits. As a cancer patient was disappointed when they were using bottled Tropicana orange juice & Tree Top apple juice for their bowls. Sugar loaded apple juice concentrate and chemical filled orange juice is far from fresh organic. If they invested in a juicer and actually used fresh juices, I'd be inclined to come back again. The store was empty an hour before their closing at 6 pm so I was able to order quickly. I opted for a medium Chocolate Arc subbed with coconut milk instead of almond and extra strawberries in place of coconut. The worker was super accomodating and patient in explaining their menu and the bowl itself was delicious. A medium is $12.50 which is an incredible price for how much you get - there is even a smaller option for $10. This is a really decently priced place for high quality Acai/Pitaya bowls and smoothies. They close way before the actual time. Came 15 minutes before closing and lights were off. I walked in there were customers eating at the table and we were turned away. The place closes at 6:00PM not 5:45PM. I also called them out on it. Since the closing time is clearly stated as 6:00PM on the store and online. After I left the store, the trash boy harassed me by spitting at me, following me into the next restaurant, flipping me off, and after they "officially" closed at 6:00PM the blonde female worker and a male driver tried to follow me home. Closing early is not a huge deal, but the behavior of the group afterwords is unacceptable. I'll be making sure I call the police and get all the names from their manager due to their harassment. I'd probably get paradise bowl because of the portion size, the price i paid for was equivalent to an 16oz at blue bowl. Also I get a lot more fruit here. However, paradise bowl does not offer blue chia pudding and does not offer more bases like blue bowl. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would come here again. I ordered take out for 4 orders by phone. It was ready in 15 min. We got 2 Gauchos, 1 Peach Bum and 1 Coconut Breeze. It was super smooth and easy to order by phone and easy to pick up and pay. A great spot for smoothies and smoothie bowls! The menu isn't as large as other spots, but it's large enough that you can easily find something you'd like. What hit me immediately was how friendly the service was here. The three guys working there immediately yelled hello at me when I opened the door and one came out from behind the counter to ask me if it was my first time there and if I wanted him to walk me through the menu. Super friendly and happy service. I got two smoothies - the kokomo and hang 10. Both were delicious, super fruity, and smooth. I liked how the serving size was pretty big (22 oz) and it was a bit cheaper than other smoothie spots.
