I liked that the portion was generous, though I expected it to be creamier from the coconut cream. Instead, it was more tart, and there were some unblended pieces of dates at the bottom. The Blue Power is my favorite smoothie because it's fruity and refreshing without being overly sweet. This place has grown on me the more I've ate it. The fresco wrap with the chicken breast hits each time and make sure to get extra guac. The potion size of the wrap is pretty hefty so all you need is 1 to get full. It's been very consistent as I've had the wrap at least 8 times now. The wrap comes with either chips or fruit on the side. The strawberry smoothie is also pretty solid. Our office did an online group order for lunch from Jan's Health Bar last week. There were 12 people in the office that day so we had a variety of salads, bowls, and sandwiches. I had Jan's Classic salad with tuna. All veggies in the salad were super fresh and it came with a nice variety of mixed greens and two small scoops of tuna. Idk what took me so long to finally try Jan's out, but finally decided today was the day. The inside of the restaurant is squeaky clean and the workers are lovely. I was debating between a wrap or acai bowl, and I ended up getting the fresca wrap and strawberry delight smoothie which were bangers. Tbh the photos online make the food look bland and just kinda boring, but don't be fooled, the taste is amazing. The fresca wrap has tender slices of turkey, black beans, guacamole, white cheddar, lettuce, chipotle crema wrapped in a spinach tortilla. It was delicious and all the textures combined made it an enjoyable eating experience. My smoothie was also delicious, get it if you want an elevated strawberry banana smoothie! I got the Crunchy Kale Wrap with fruit ($15.45) and it was definitely filling. However, I still think that it was pricey for a wrap. The employee who was there at around 8 AM on a Wednesday was so kind and very helpful even though there was a line that formed just after I came in. I actually asked the cashier for a recommendation, and this protein bowl was what they suggested. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match expectations at all. The ingredients didn't taste fresh, and the entire bowl was overwhelmingly salty, to the point where it was hard to finish and threw most of it away. Places like this make healthy eating a lot more enjoyable. Protein Bowl - chicken breast, avocado, carrots, cucumbers, sprouts, tomatoes, crunchy quinoa, and spike seasoning -- this bowl doesn't have any rice in it, but the flavorful chicken and the creamy avocado made up for it! I do think it's a filling bowl, but for smaller appetites. If you were super hungry, you may need to supplement this with a little more to be full.
