    Patio vibes
    Wendy W.

Awesome place for brunch, lunch or dinner. Really clean healthy food, clean ingredients. I don't think they use seed oils. The inside is bright and welcoming, theres patio seats too, all the staff was attentive. They double checked my order, everything always comes out great even if I make modifications.

I have wanted to check out this spot for a while and glad I finally got to try. Their food really does feel and tasty healthy. I ordered a Salmon plate with sweet corn and quinoa, and mixed vegetables. I looooooved the sweet corn and quinoa, Ima need that recipe ASAP. So tasty! I didn't love the mixed vegetables only cause I wish there was more of it...? Also, the carrots weren't all fully cooked. Besides that, the salmon was great. My man ordered steak with brown rice and roasted heirloom carrots. He loved his food but the portions were small for him. Still hungry, he got up and ordered a chopped vegetable salad and added steak. He enjoyed the salad. Inside is cute and has a good vibe. I am giving this place 4.5/5 stars, but rounding up because their food is great and customer service is wonderful, as well.

First off, the atmosphere was incredible in here. Every staff member was genuinely so kind and helpful. The menu has a variety of different things so you are likely to find something that you would want. I ordered the shrimp with the kale salad and this asparagus grain mix. Everything was flavorful and delicious. It is more on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion. A great healthy option!!

Shrimp Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese

Ordered togo order for dinner. Got a Shrimp entree with Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato and Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese as my sides. The sweet potato was great. With the crunchy bok choy giving it texture. The mac and cheese was also pretty good. Not really cheesy but the pasta was nice and a carb addition to the meal. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but this was a lot better than i thought it was going to be. The only thing is it is a bit pricier, though I understand since it is made for those with dietary restrictions/ preferences. Another thing is the portion is more like something that will keep you satisfied rather than a meal that will make you feel 100% full.

Cute, bright restaurant with artwork lining the walls. I believe this place replaced the old Pei Wei. It's a health-forward spot with plenty of options for salads, bowls, and plates. I ordered the Forbidden Rice ($12.95) and the Classic Hummus ($7.75). Both were tasty and satisfying without feeling heavy or overwhelming afterward. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual, diet-conscious meal.

1/8/2026 Kale & Brussel Sprouts Salad (with added steak) - I always order this and this was the first time eating at the restaurant. It was a large salad! Goes to show that to-go boxes are so small that you pretty much get half portion of what you order when at the restaurant. The salad was the same as usual. Everything tasted fresh. Crunchy kale and brussel sprouts, almonds, cranberries, orange and blood orange segments, cheese. However, the dressing was a bit too sour and acidic for my liking today. BUT I did an additional order of the same salad and took it home. It tasted different! The dressing was just the right amount, since they do give it in those small takeout containers. Also, the salad itself was softer overall. Because raw kale is usually rough and unpleasant to chew. The steak was a bit on the bland side and chewy. A few pieces were okay, but the rest of it was chewy. I feel like it's a hit or miss here. However, the take out salad was much tastier than eating at the restaurant. Kombucha - This was their daily kombucha. Forget the exact name. It had good carbonation. Kombucha did have watermelon flavor at first sip, then apple cranberry. But as you continued to drink, it became like apple cider vinegar with more acidic flavor. It was difficult to drink and had to force-drink it. I should have asked for a sample first. Customer Service - It was good all around! All the servers were friendly. The restaurant was clean and servers walked around checking in on customers as well. It is mostly self-service when it comes to refills and getting your own utensils, but they still check in with you. Parking - Large parking lot, but don't be fooled! It is always packed here! You might have to drive around the parking lot to find empty spots closer to the restaurant. Plus, everything feels cluttered here.

Ordered takeout this time around so cannot comment on service or ambience. 7/10 Glow Bowl w Steak ($21): Eating healthy can be hard, but Flower Child makes it a bit easier. The Glow Bowl was delicious with the carrot noodles and I added steak as my choice of protein to balance out the dish a lot. However, there was an absurd amount of onions and by the end of the dish, I was pretty tired of eating it. Definitely think this is a dish where you should consider adding some type of meat. Overall, a simple but healthy and clean meal.

I visited Flower Child on a Thursday early evening. I ordered the salmon plate with cauliflower risotto & red chili glazed sweet potatoes as my sides. One of my friends got the black bean falafel wrap, & my other friend had the rebel french dip. The staff was very friendly, & I liked the interior decor. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes on my next visit!

We received a gift card here. I liked that you order your food at the counter then sit down. It makes it nice when you eat out with others so you don't have to worry about splitting the check. There were lots of gluten free options to choose from on the menu. We ordered the queso dip with chips as an appetizer. It was creamy and a little bit spicy too, so yummy. I ordered the steak entree with a side of sweet corn & quinoa and the smashed potatoes. It was enough food for leftovers The restaurant is freeway close, right off the 73 freeway and MacArthur.

Our Go-To! My wife has Celiac Disease so strict no gluten diet. We have been going here for a couple years and I never thought to do a Yelp review - duh. The choice of food whether GF or not is always amazing. The food quality is excellent and the portion size is very good. The staff is always very nice and service is almost always quick. When it is not they apologize and at times offer a free item. If something is wrong they make it right without any issue. It is so nice. I highly recommend it and have had catering once before. They did a great job. The ambiance is casual, dog friendly, and they have outside dining. You can't go wrong here.

Spicy miso ramen: 9/10 Actually one of the better ramens I've had lately. The broth is creamier and isn't overpowering with chicken/beef flavor. The chashu was nice and tender as well. I really liked that their noodles were al dente and not too soft Deluxe mazemen: 8/10 Taking my first bite, I was instantly greeted with an explosion of umami. There's a LOT of flavor packed in this bowl and the noodles used are actually a bit thicker which is right up my alley. My only drawback on this dish was that I wished it came with some sort of veggies to cut through all the flavor. They also give you a small serving of rice at the end for you to mix into the bottom which was a nice addition Kurobota sausage: 7.5/10 We've recently been on a kurobota craze. Don't get me wrong, these were great but we've only had them charred and grilled before so I was taken aback when I saw that these were only steamed. To start it off, we ordered their specialty chicken karaage and it was very delicious. It has a nice crispy and crunchy texture. The batter on the chicken was good and once you bite it, the meat is juicy and tender. Doesn't really need dipping since it's so good. As for the Mazemen, we ordered the Deluxe and Veggie one, both is a 5/5. Very flavorful and it tastes just like ramen, but without the soup. The presentation of the dish looks like a work of art. Very picture pretty. I ate that shit up within ten minutes. After that they give you a scoop of rice so you can mix it up with the leftover sauce. Lots of umami for sure. Definitely will come back again to try the other flavors. People, trust me and come through!

We didn't have to wait too long for at least one of our dishes. We ordered the braised beef brisket soup at level 3 spice and the pork and cabbage potstickers. I remember the soup being a lot more flavorful the first time and the beef being more tender. This time, the beef tasted tough and overcooked. The soup mostly tasted like mala spice (but at the perfect level) without much depth to it. My favorite part was the perfectly cooked noodles, which were bouncy and chewy. Unfortunately, our pork and cabbage potstickers never came out. A worker notified us halfway through eating the soup that it was going to take an extra 15 minutes, then later came back to say something wasn't working in the back, and eventually just canceled the order altogether. I think my memory of the first visit may have hyped this place up too much because it just wasn't that great this time around.
