Sea Salt + Basil is a small corporate eatery serving up a mix of breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. I tried the California Chicken Wrap, and it was delicious, especially with the side of pasta salad that came with it. At under $11, the price was hard to beat. The flavor was decent, but I do wish there was a bit more chicken. After a few bites, it started feeling like I was eating mostly tortilla and lettuce. For the price, though, it's hard to complain--it's a solid budget-friendly option. I'd definitely go back to try their breakfast menu or one of their salads, but if I'm really craving a sandwich or wrap with a bit more substance, I might explore other options.

PARKING: is not convenient. There is a garage close by but you will need to pay $2 per 15 min. They do not validate. If you do not want to pay, walking from the closest free parking area will take about 10-15min. FOOD: Delicious food and good value. Everyone in my group was happy with the sandwiches they ordered. I got the Tocino chicken sandwich which came with a small serving of pasta salad. When I compared the amount of pasta salad to other plates, my serving was a little skimped. But overall for about $11 the meal was satisfying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]ATMOSPHERE: most seating would be outside. For a California winter day, it was pretty windy and chilly in front of the building but there are additional tables on the side of the building that was nice and sunny. It's a peaceful and calm area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it was a great first time experience with a good meal with friends. Free parking may not be convenient, but I've accepted it as something to work for while saving a couple bucks.

Abe is awesome! Vita is awesome! Excellent service with great food options to match. Food is always fresh and it's a very convenient location. Always a pleasure eating here. Thank you!

Sorry I already taken bites of my food when I took the photo! lol

Best tasting breakfast and lunch meal we have! Everything freshly made! You can taste the freshness of the veggies in the paninis! The staff are amazingly nice! Did I mention it is so much more affordable than the food courts at the Spectrum? Just few walking steps from Spectrum and you got an even better options for food and you can eat here daily without breaking the bank!!! Must try and you will keep coming back for sure! The food is so delicious here! Vida recommended the Tocino chicken avocado sandwich. The sandwich is perfect, so tasty, warm, 10/10! Abe also let me try the sea salt + basil açaí smoothie, 10/10 also! Seriously the best smoothie. Super nice staff, close to all offices here at the Irvine spectrum! Come see them!

Little eatery on the lobby floor of office building across street from spectrum. Came here because it was 10:30am and it seems like many lunch places at the spectrum don't open until 11. The places I yelped that opened before 11 were not rated well so I opted for this place. Great and friendly service. My tomato bisque came out super hot and tasted great. Bf's chicken and pesto panini was delicious. Neat place

The two sandwiches on the right (Bagnat and chicken salad) came with a different bread that they had on the menu and it didn't match at all.

They're dishonest with ingredients and they keep your money. I ordered three sandwiches: 1- Pan Bagnat Sandwich: The description clearly says it comes with brioche. Both pictures on Doordash and their website show a nicely toasted brioche. It came with a very soft and not toasted white sliced bread (or cheap sourdough sliced). Look at the photo. And it wasn't good. 2- Napa Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwich: In this case, the description says it comes with wheat ciabatta. The picture shows a ciabatta too. Again it came with white sliced bread (or cheap sourdough sliced) that didn't match it at all. Look at the photo. This wasn't good either. It barely had any dried cranberry or celery and it was tasteless. 3- Ham Croissant Sandwich: This was at least the same as the description and tasted okay. I also ordered 4 apples. They told the driver to tell me they're out. They never refunded me. The switcheroo on the breads was annoying for two reasons. First it didn't match the sandwich. Second, I'm diabetic, and when I saw the chicken salad comes with wheat ciabatta, I got happy cause wheat is much better for diabetic people. But I got white.

Great service and a good place for a quick bite. The folks that work in the building can order online and come down to pick it up ready to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good vibe , mostly locals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The paninis are great an so are the salads

Breakfast burrito and blueberry MUFFINS - BLUEBERRY

I had the breakfast burrito and it was the best tasting burrito I've had in the area! Being from San Diego I know good breakfast burrito and this place had that, without feeling like it was drenched in cooking oil. I'll definitely be back. I also had a blueberry muffin and that was delicious! Service was 5/5 they were able to serve me minutes after 11am, great service and mellow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not too busy at 11:30am so ambiance was chill![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

come to try the new Ice drink! it is amazing! it is so good and better than Starbucks

They lay it out where the pancakes fill the plate but I like my pancakes STACKED. The breakfast burrito was decent BUT the potatoes inside were a bit undercooked Since we came on a Sunday it was a little busy. When ordering they have a card stating approximate waiting times depending on how busy they are, but it well exceeded the time on the card. There was a family of 4 that ordered before us and got their food first. My order consisted of 2/4 things they ordered.... How does that work? Anyways... it was a try, but not one worth going back for unfortunately. The inside is cute and there is a lot of seating outside, but I don't see myself going back

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

The menu isn't extensive, but it's nicely varied, with some very creative combinations. The avocado toast, for example, is not just bread with a few things slathered on top, but a piled-high creation with numerous different flavors and hidden under a large pile of greens. The acai bowl contents looked incredible on the menu. But if you want a traditional breakfast with eggs and bacon, or even vegan chorizo, that's available too. It's not large inside, but there's enough seating for a likely clientele for the area, and a lovely outside patio as well. A great spot for breakfast or brunch.
