I loved the large painting on the wall depicting the rugged old west with a cow boy having a cup of coffee by the fire in the mountains. They have Different types of seating arrangements. The interior is modern with a comfortable lighting scene and wrap around floor to ceiling windows. They also have a large patio with more seating. I also noticed a fire place and a Television outside. Aside from their great coffee and Tea menu, they offer daily pastries, refreshments, small bites and coffee bean bags to go. I had the Horchata Latté with oat milk (available hot or cold). It was really good. It is made with 2 shots of their signature espresso with a house-made horchata syrup or base, steamed or iced milk, and a dusting of cinnamon. You could taste the quality of the coffee. It was really good. The coffee was a little strong. The service was great and prices are average. I really enjoyed hanging out in their shop with friends. They have several locations. I highly recommend Moon Goat Coffee Roasters.

I stopped by this spot after getting lunch right next door…read more I had no idea what type of place this was, but I did notice quite a few folks going in. I found the inside decor a bit unexpected, the green walls, the dark vibe with gold accents. It reminded me of a chic lounge or den. I was happy to see they sold drinks and baked goodies. I wasn't in the mood for coffee or a drink, but decided to check out the sweet treats. I was so excited they had Portuguese egg tarts. I am very familiar with the Asian egg tarts, but I haven't had the Portuguese kind. I was eyeing up the banana pudding, but I decided to not get it. Prices seemed a bit high so we just went for 4 egg tarts. We relaxed a bit while our order was ready. They warmed them up, I decided to try one since I am not from this area. MY, oh MY, oh my!!!!!!!!?!!!!!?!!?!!! They were so good, the outside was super flakey, not greasy. The egg center was warm, not too 'eggy' and the sweetness level was just perfect. They were honestly to die for. I contemplated for a few minutes to BUY MORE even though I had only eaten one. I thought, I'm not from this area, so I might as well get more! I ended up getting 5 more, each tart leans on the expensive side for how small they are, but they are mighty delicious!!! I also decided to try the sea salt chocolate chip cookie: Classic Cookie. Traditional components with a dash of sea salt to accentuate the taste of rich imported Belgian chocolate Egg tarts: 5/5!!!!! Honestly when I put in my 2nd order, I couldn't help myself to tell the people behind me how dang good the egg tarts are... They told me they ended up getting some just because I mentioned it.. The salted chocolate cookie looked different to me, it is shaped like a mound. I thought this was good, full of chocolate and the sea salt was good. Would I order it again? Maybe, maybe not. 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 4/5

I work in one of the buildings next to Kit Coffee, so I come here pretty often for my matcha fix…read more Their matcha is always strong, smooth, and delicious--definitely one of my favorites in the area. The service is consistently fast and friendly, which makes it the perfect spot to grab a drink during the workday. My go-to order is the Lavender Fields Matcha or a matcha latte with ube added. The ube adds just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. I've also tried their smoked avocado toast, and it's just as good as their drinks. If you're in the area and looking for a quality matcha or a quick breakfast, I highly recommend stopping by!

This trip to KIT started a bit chaotically as I did not expect to find this location in the middle of a dense business complex, which made parking a bit difficult (there's a paid parking garage) and added a few minutes to our trip. If you're short on time, plan accordingly. However, once we were in, we were nicely welcomed by 2 employees. This interior is on the smaller end with limited indoor seating, but ample outdoor seating right in front of KIT. An ideal place if you're looking for somewhere to do work outside. We decided to stick to drinks: Iced Triple Double Matcha & (an employee recommended) Salted Caramel Matcha. These drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time and were both very flavorful. It was actually my friend's first time at KIT, and now she's obsessed!

Safe to say that I'm obsessed but I think that's a testament to how good their matcha and pastries are. Their matcha is my new favorite in OC. I get the matcha latte at 75% sweet which is SO SO GOOD! It's a perfect balance of sweet and still being able to taste the flavor and bitterness of the matcha. I'm surprised more people don't talk about their matcha. Don't get me started on their pastries and desserts... ALSO SO GOOD. They have such a huge variety of pastries, both sweet and savory, that it's hard to choose but that also means there's something for everyone. My favorites are their blueberry brioche, matcha cruffin, and egg bacon bread. The egg bacon bread surprised me since it's made of rice flour and has a chewy/mochi like consistency - it's so unique and you just have to try it. When you enter, you wait in line and let the staff know which pastries you want and they'll grab them for you to put in a box. Once you get to the cashier, you can order your drinks there. If you only want drinks, you can skip the line to order at the kiosk at the front. The staff are all super friendly. Plenty of parking since it's an Irvine plaza and there's about 5 tables inside but outdoor seating is available too.

I ordered Early Gray and Matcha Cruffins and they were delicious. The Earl Gray is a little bit on the sweeter side when compared to the match, so pairing it with a non-sweet tea would be perfect.
