For some reason I thought it was much bigger on the inside. It is mainly a counter, with enough room to house a line but very little seating. There are seats and tables outside but finding a communal area in the Irvine Spectrum is probably better. We got the cup of strawberries with chocolate , pistachio paste and knafeh topping and it was so delicious and refreshing. Is it worth $15? Possibly. I would have to be craving for it and if it is peak strawberry season, I would treat myself to one. We also got a bar to take home which, from the bars I have had in the past, their Dubai chocolate is ok. Although staff was friendly, the service was slow. We waited 25 mins after ordering which is not bad if you have good company but when you are hungry and a toddler, that 25 mins seems forever. I'd consider going back but in the list of priorities, it would be somewhere in the middle.
My daughter loves this spot and is totally obsessed with their Dubai chocolate strawberries... those alone get a solid five stars. They're rich, indulgent, and definitely a must-try if you're into dessert that goes all out. Now here's where it drops a bit for me: cleanliness. I've got a thing about places that serve food staying clean, and unfortunately, Chocolate Bash missed the mark. The dust buildup on top of the prep area is... not it. We're talking months of dust, not just a little missed spot from last week. This review's really more of a heads-up for management--please train your team to do regular deep cleans and maybe invest in a long-reach duster or something. Because when you've got a place this sweet, the vibe and the cleanliness should match the quality of the dessert. Still, the treats are solid. Just hope the cleanliness gets a level-up soon. Still got four stars because this is something they can easily do to make it a five star spot.
Saw a BOGO deal for their Knafeh pistachio chocolate bars on Postmates. We were hanging around the Spectrum and decided to pick it up to try. It's marked at about $13 on Postmates but with the deal it comes down to about $6.50 a bar which isn't bad. Pickup was easy. The bars were neatly packed in a takeout bag. The bars are much smaller than pictured and they come packaged already. Upon tasting, we really like the texture of the bars. The knafeh is reminiscent of the texture of rice crispies inside a Crunch bar. This is essentially that but with more and pistachio filling. The pistachio was good, but we wish the flavor was stronger. Still a very good chocolate bar.
Was excited to try this place. They force you to try to order by tablet. Then tell you that they're out of supply for hours. While they had some chocolate covered strawberries in the display case, they didn't have enough to sell us an order. You would think they wouldn't keep them in the display case if they couldn't sell them. Tables inside were dirty and sticky. But the attendant seemed nice.
We were shopping in The Spectrum and wanted a sweet treat so decided to come check this place out. The store is pretty small and when we walked in, they told us the register was cash only and the self-service kiosk was card only. There was a lot of people inside and it looked like there was only one worker. He looked overwhelmed, which makes sense, but honestly it just came off as rude and like he did not want to be working. It seemed like the cash register receipt was giving some people duplicate numbers as the self-service kiosk. When he called out a number 2 people approached, and he looked so annoyed at them that they both came and claimed that was their number. It was just a big mess, and you could tell he was so over it. The kiosk asked for our name so luckily that's what he called. As for what we ordered, we got the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries were actually pretty fresh but to me the chocolate wasn't the best. We have tried this at other places that were cheaper and tasted better. Overall based on the customer service and the overall taste of everything I don't see myself coming back.
Stopped by Chocolate Bash on a rainy afternoon, hoping for something warm and sweet. I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate with whipped cream and a crepe loaded with chocolate and blueberries. Solid combo. The hot chocolate had a nice kick--spicy enough to feel it but not overpowering. Whip was generous. The crepe? Warm, gooey, sweet. No complaints on taste. But when I saw the total--$18 + tip--I had to pause. Verdict: If you've got cash to burn and a sweet tooth to satisfy, go for it. Otherwise, this bash hits your wallet harder than your taste buds.
This location inside Irvine Spectrum has many offerings of chocolates. I came specifically ti try their Dubai Chocolate bar. Although, they also have Knafeh for their other menu items. The Dubai bar was fairly priced at $9.99. Cost wise, it is pretty fair except when you order the Dubai Chocolate concoctions it gets pretty pricey. The taste of their Dubai Chocolate is a delicious, milk chocolate taste with knafe in the middle in smile squared size bites. We look forward to trying once their varieties for a treat but it's definitely not every week because it's pretty pricey. They also accept cash! Yay!!!!
This is a TGTO order which its value is 21.99 Total rip-off! I think this one has been the saddest order ever in my experience with TGTO. It seem like it was a joke to us and my family which was excited when they saw Chocolate Bash in the App when really disappointed They should of at least throw in some marshmallows to make s'mores and my family wouldn't of been soooo disappointed. Place was packed like sardines but Staff was friendly Next....
First time here we walked in a little late while they were cleaning but they told us they were still open and the employees were really helpful with the recommendations as the menu was honestly a little confusing lol. My brother and I ended up getting the cookie butter bash shake and the icecream brownies cup! Eyad and Angeline were very nice and fun to chat to! Customer service was quick and friendly at this location, ambiance and vibes were great for a spot that's open so late, I highly recommend it for the people with a chocolate craving

Maria , Perla and Angie were the best at accommodating us and recommending us delicious things on the menu. we ordered chocolate covered strawberries which were so good and fresh and we also got a dubai strawberry cup and I will for sure be coming back for more ! Dropped in for a quick sweet fix and they delivered! THE FOOD. - Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Opted for both white chocolate and milk chocolate. The strawberry itself was impressively large and naturally sweet, the kind that tastes like it was picked at peak ripeness. The chocolate shells add a satisfying snap before giving way to the strawberry. Simple, classic, and done well. THE PARKING. Free parking available, both surface lot and structures. The earlier you get there, the better chance you have of snagging a spot close by. THE VERDICT. Delicious treats for the sweet tooth. Just saw they are now permanently closed and now I'm sad. read more

Smack in the heart of the Irvine Spectrum is Chocolate Bash. The outside is deceiving in size because on the outside it's big but the inside is small. Of course I ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries! Loved them but way too expensive. I wouldn't go back because $17 for a little cup of strawberries & drizzle chocolate/ pistachio sauce, totally out of my budget! read more

I was craving some dessert so i stopped by this place and man I was a little disappointed. The service was friendly but inside was very dirty with only a few tables to sit so I sat outside. I got a milk chocolate crepe with strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The crazy thing is, is that the ice cream was the best part. I thought the crepe was going to come out hot and fresh but it was pretty cold. The chocolate then began to freeze onto the crepe making it so hard to eat. The crepe itself was hard to pull apart as well but thankfully I was given a knife. Overall for $16 I don't think I would come back here unfortunately. read more

This was my first time trying chocolate bash and i'm not much of a super sweet tooth kind of person but I decided to go for a mini pancake box with a scoop of icecream. It was delicious and had the right amount of everything. The pancakes were hot and the chocolate was melting so perfectly over them. As of for service, it was pretty mediocre, just like any other ice cream/dessert business. I don't really mind though since the dessert was good. Also, it took a while but I also didn't mind because there was only one person working there and he was making 3 other orders. It's pretty small inside so if you have a big group I recommend just staying outside and putting together some chairs and tables. Plus, inside it's kind of cold and not super duper welcoming and I'm sure outside by the fountain is a lot better. Pricing is not insanely terrible but each extra topping you want to add to your order is about $1.99-$2.99 and it's for simple things like cookie crumbs. I really enjoyed it though and my mother and I were physically smiling while eating it. I will definitely be coming back again and try something new! read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this chocolate haven. I always get their burger (waffle with a variety of fresh fruit choices, covered in their 3 types of chocolate sauce (Belgian milk, white, and dark). Not only if this delicious, but also a great dessert to bring to a party. I also tried their crepe with fresh fruits on top + same chocolate over everything. Just as good as their burger, but a little easier to eat. Service is always great and welcoming here and you get to watch them making everything right in front of you. Definitely one of my top 5 places for dessert in the world! read more
Welcome to a place where Chocolate Dreams come true! This is an amazing place for yummy, fresh, and somewhat healthier desserts. My favorite item is the fruit and dip cup. It comes with your choice of 3 different fresh cut fruits and choice of warm dip. Tonight we opted for strawberries, bananas, and pineapples with the Belgian milk chocolate dip. The fruit was very ripe and perfect. The dip was warm, choclately, goodness. For 14.99-it comes with a pretty big portion of fruit. Tonight, we did order via door dash because we had a craving for a sweet tooth and this hit the spot. I have been inside once awhile back, and it was clean and nice inside and the service was good, but has been awhile. The to go package was nice! read more

This review is only for this location's milkshakes. I was running errands at a couple shops in the Spectrum and saw this storefront and decided to go in and look at their offerings. Crepes and various melted chocolates on top of pancakes or waffles seemed to be the main items but they also had a list of milkshake flavors, not only regular chocolate, but also several "candy bar" themed flavors. The fellow working here was very nice and I honestly felt he was trying to steer me away from the milkshakes and was enticing me with vivid descriptions of their other offerings. But I stuck with the milkshake as I wanted something I could enjoy on my drive home. I chose the Twix milkshake. In just a couple minutes it was ready. The first thing I noticed was that the consistency was very thin. Another reviewer mentions their shakes seem "watered down". There were small pieces of Twix throughout the shake but to me it tasted like a cup of milk that had been through a blender with a couple of Twix. I actually liked it but it seemed to me something other than a milkshake; was there even any ice cream in it? It didn't look anything like the online photo. Maybe the nice fellow didn't know how to make it and improvised? Anyway, what I got shouldn't be called a shake. But as I said, I don't mean to "bash" them; I still liked it "okay". read more

This place in the Spectrum is cute, but my experience was okay. The lady serving me was somewhat rude and was not friendly at all. I wanted a lid to my cup but didn't want to deal with her so I just didn't ask for one (that was the kind of service). Keep in mind this was about a month ago, so maybe things have gotten better or she was just having a bad day. The Dubai strawberry cup we got was pretty good. It was a bit underwhelming and I would say is overhyped and is more of an aesthetic thing. Don't let that take away from the fact that it was still good, as it tastes exactly what you think it would taste like. My biggest complaint is that the price of it was almost $20!! Overall this place is good but I don't see myself going back there solely based off of their prices. read more
I've had this placed bookmarked for a while, and finally came here to try them out during Mother's Day. My husband and I shared their CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE with VANILLA ICE CREAM. It came out piping hot, and although it was good, I've had this dessert prepared better at other places before. The chocolate lava filling wasn't as rich as I expected it. The ice cream wasn't that great either. My son got their WAFFLE with NUTELLA, and it was fantastic! The waffle came out fresh and piping hot, but the Nutella topping is what made it so heavenly! I would get this again next time. My daughter ordered an assortment of their chocolate bars. Although I didn't get a taste of it, she was pleased with what she got. This place is located right by the fountain in the middle area of the Spectrum, and they have indoor as well as outdoor tables. Their prices are reasonable, and the workers at the register that helped us were nice and cordial. read more
