Lets just say the coconut shrimp tacos and the bbq nachos were my favorite ! I also got a margarita on the rocks and it could use some salt on the rim. Also water needs some ice in it my water was luke warm. Music is a little too loud for a restaurant but overall great food and staff . read more

Where do I begin?! I never leave reviews but I had an amazing experience this afternoon with my friends and our waitress Carolyn so I had to! My girl was such a great waitress and really had us laughing soo much!! We were not expecting to have as good of a time as we did and I really think Carolyn is the reason for it. Can't wait to go back!! read more

First impression is great decor. Free wifi and patio seating is a plus too. We ordered guac&chips, a cauliflower app, and 4 tacos. Everything is tasty and portion is great. My favourite was the cauliflower and the pork belly taco. So good. read more

Last night I went to Miti Miti with my sister at around 10:00 PM. I ordered the BBQ chicken nachos, and they got my order wrong, giving me nachos with no meat on them by mistake. They were very kind about fixing the problem, and the subsequent problem that the nachos were now cold. All I needed from them was for them to fix the mistake, but they very kindly gave my sister and I free frozen margarita shots to make up for it. It was 10:00 PM and I'm sure the servers were very tired, so I totally understand getting my order mixed up, especially since I don't think I was talking very loudly, and the restaurant was crowded/loud. The point is, the service was lovely, the people were very nice and helpful about dealing with a minor mix-up, and I will definitely be going back in the future. read more

Solid happy hour. Cauliflower taco a little wet, coconut shrimp taco too sweet. Crispy fish taco was excellent. Green sangria fun, but a little syrupy. EXCELLENT service. read more

I really liked the vibe of the place, the set up is gorgeous and stays on theme. We went for a friend's birthday brunch and it was easy to sit all 14 of us which was nice. We had all gotten a version of their bottomless brunch, and it was worth it for sure. I was switching from mango to lavender to guava all great. I would say though I didn't like how I had to wait for my drink to be brought to me, I think I only had like 4 glasses in my 90 min vs have a waiter constantly filing my glass. Also the food was good, filling, a little pricey but doable. I would say this place is a treat, between the bottomless and the entree I paid more than I would have. read more

Went for their boozy brunch. Must try! After tasting all three of their sangria (extra $15 for unlimited drinks) plus additional drinks of sangria, was Well worth the money spent. Plus give you a free shot of sangria for checking in! We had the lamb burger and garlic shrimp tacos. Amazing! read more

We came here yesterday for brunch. The decor is awesome here and the restaurant is a lot larger than I thought initially. We opted to do the VIP boozy brunch, which is $30 on top of your entree and they add 20% gratuity to any table that orders the boozy brunch. We ordered the breakfast tacos and breakfast burrito -- both were really tasty and satisfying. The margaritas and sangria were good, which made us glad we did the VIP option versus the regular one, which only includes mimosas, bloody mary's, and beer. Our server was great and attentive as he kept checking in with us throughout our meal. The only thing is, we wish that he would've at least given us a heads up that our time for the boozy brunch was running out but I guess that's just a little thing. We will be back :) read more

Came for brunch recently on a Sunday around 12 with a few friends. Had really good service at the bar and enjoyed our drinks. Enjoyed my food, chicken and waffles (I know, an odd order at a Mexican place). The chicken's flavor was really good and crispy but it was a bit odd that they serve them as wings instead of tenders or a breast so you can't really eat it with the waffle. Waffle was meh. Friends enjoyed their food including substitutions. Was a bit strange that lots of tables were empty the majority of the time we were there but they quoted a 45min-1hour wait, likely due to reservations that hadn't started. But bar was fine and we were well taken care of. I like this restaurant group. read more

I was looking for a place to have brunch and stumble up this place in yelp. Let me start by saying when I walked in I stood waiting although there was empty tables. Once seated it took about 15 min for someone to come and give us at least water. Then another 10 for our orders to be taken. Meanwhile the table next to us got served and the waiter kept coming to them. Perhaps it was because we were the only Hispanic group there. My party of 4 sat there waiting for food which was bought to us and did not meet our expectations. Huevos rancheros was so simple not worth the 11 dollars. We actually ended going to another place to grab food. Definitely will not be returning here. read more

Mojito was a no bueno. No authentic house made tortillas just some store bought crap. Fish taco was less than decent like 5 1/2 out 10. Only reason I gave three starts is because the staff members were very nice. Way better places to go in the area. read more

Came here for Saturday brunch this past weekend and it was great. First I'll comment on the staff, second the decor, and third the food. Staff: Considering the Halloween festivities began this past weekend, the waiters and waitresses were all dressed up in awesome costumes. Not your standard out-of-the-bag, overpriced costumes from Ricky's, but like decked out homemade costumes. They let us take pictures with them, were really helpful with food recommendations, and just seemed genuinely friendly. Decor: It's Dia de los Muertos heaven (Punny?). With that being said, the inside of the restaurant is a little loud, but tastefully loud if there is such a thing. As you know, Day of the Dead decor tends to consist of neon colors, skulls, and skeletal silhouettes. The host even said something along the lines of "decorating for halloween doesn't really take much effort since the place always looks like this." Food: My friend got the Arepa Eggs Benedict, which he devoured. He said it was delicious. The spicy chorizo gravy was really flavorful and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. The gravy offset the normally dry and gritty arepa quite nicely. I had the breakfast burrito with fries and a side of guacamole. Also really flavorful. I find that a lot of breakfast burritos tend to have way too much rice, but this one was perfect. The guacamole was really fresh and was definitely made onsite. I like my fries thin, which is the type of fry Miti Miti serves so another thumbs up. The reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was so loud inside. I believe this place also does a bottomless brunch, which could've been why. The tables are also pretty close in proximity so the guy behind me and I kept knocking into one another whenever either of us got up. Overall - great place and I would definitely come back to try some of the other brunch dishes. Also, if you're a fan of outdoor seating, Miti Miti has a quaint outdoor seating area out front. When the weather gets warmer, I may try to grab a seat outside! read more

Y'all. The avocado toast at Miti Miti is the truth. I went there for a boozy brunch with my cousins. There is a 1.5 hour time limit but the waitress kept the drinks flowing. I ordered the crispy fish tacos and they were pretty good. It may be a bold statement, however, Miti Miti has the best yellow rice and beans that I ever had in my entire life. I'd consider myself a yellow rice and bean connoisseur. My cousins and I are of Caribbean decent and they thought the yellow rice and beans were out of this world as well. I definitely plan to put all of my friends on to this restaurant! There's also a huge variety of flavored mimosas and margaritas. Well worth the $20 VIP Boozy Brunch option. read more

Go to any family runned mexican restaurant and they give you a whole tasty ass meal $18.. smh food sucked made me sick service sucked expensive $18 two taco cant believe that...avoid this crap read more

Massively overpriced steak quesadilla for tiny portions and overcooked meat. Salsa tasted stale. Chips over-salted.

Good music, excellent food, friendly service and a great vibe. What's not to like? Our entire table got the huevos rancheros based on the enthusiastic recommendation of our waiter, Ronnie. Amazing dish! Drinks were also great - I recommend the top shelf margarita and my friend seemed to like the sangrias. I will certainly be back. read more

Great place for some cheap and tasty Mexican food. I am a huge fan of Calexico, but there is seeminlgy always a 45 minute wait, so I continued down 5th Ave and stumbled upon Miti Miti. We were seated right away and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Chips and guac were good, which I basically expect from any Mexican restaurant. I almost always go burrito or tacos, but I switched it up and went with the chicken fajitas and I was not disappointed. So so so tasty and not excruciatingly hot that I had to wait 15 minutes before eating. I would definitely come back here, the space is huge and the food is good! read more

I came for bottomless brunch on 8/30 and WOW! I had come for a pre-concert meal before and loved it so I was excited to try the brunch. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing waitress- I feel bad for not remembering her name because she made the experience even better. Extremely attentive and fun (name began with a C, black woman). I tried the guacamole for the first time and it was great! As a fan of all things spicy I appreciated the little kick in the quac. Very good meal overall, I got tacos and my boyfriend got a crossing sandwich. I would definitely return, worth the somewhat high price. read more

Delicious grilled salmon paired with the extremely flavorful broccoli & red cabbage!!! Such good portions as well!

Miti Miti is mediocre, mediocre. Cute overly decorate Day of the Dead motif. Music is very loud but the woman who escorted us to the table right under the speaker did relocate us to the back dining area. Manageably loud. Very busy so service was slow. Beware of a few things. Our server was nice enough but pushed the guac made at the table - we said no - overpriced and we didn't need the chips. When I ordered a margarita was asked if I wanted Padron - I hesitated and kind shrugged that I was not sure it was necessary but she was so anxious and said right get the good stuff. That was on me to be more direct - so that margarita was 17.00! And how was it? Well top shelf tequila could not help it be any better than bad (my first one that was sent back) to meh ( the replacement). The margarita ingredients include sour mix which I tried to get more info about from our server but really she was clueless about it so I went along. Not surprisingly my margarita tasted like a whisky sour so back it went for a second try sans sour mix. It was ok but nothing like the margaritas made in nearby restaurants with fresh lime juice. My server told me a trainee made the first drink and it was heavy on the sour mix so the bartender made the replacement. Way to go, trainee making drinks on a busy Friday night and learning from a bartender who makes mediocre margaritas. My friend's Mojito was "ok". Neither one of us had a second drink - a first in our long history of dining out together. Now the food. We decided on some tapas-like small plates rather than the usual Tex Mex dishes. There is a nice variety. Bacon dates were very good as were the Mango Coconut chicken wings. Brussels sprout were way under cooked. The special tuna tostada was bland. The finale or should I say the last straw. The bill - where I discovered the 17.00 meh margarita had a 20% gratuity added on. That seemed unusual so I asked our server who got very defensive and kept saying not to blame her. We were not blaming but trying to understand WTF. Although she did not bring us the menu our server told us that it is a policy after 10p. But we came in at 9p reservation on Open Table. It did not seem to matter because it was in effect if you get your bill after 10p. So beware if you want to linger over your meal. Our server was so worried about us filling out our rating card and not wanting to be blamed she did not demonstrate good customer service at all. Upon exiting I spoke to the woman who was at the front and told me she would get the manager but told us it was suggested and indicated that it was stated on the menu. When I first asked the server she just said that was the policy but did not say it was suggested and I could change it. I always tip 18% and go to 20% or even a little more depending on the circumstances but this certainly felt like a railroad job. The manager made a point of pointing to the small print sentences on the menu on several pages but also said it was suggested which was not at all made clear to us or shared by our server. No real apology or effort to offer any compensation. But of course we would not be interested in eating there again between the inconspicuous added costs, mediocre food and general attitude towards customers. read more

It's mother's day and the place is literally empty. We walk in and we're asked if we have a reservation, I told them no and we still had to wait 15 mins to get seated. The food is not authentic Mexican. More like taco bells or really bad version of "Mexican" food. The prices were more expensive than the prices on the menu on internet. Mind boggling how this crappy place got some good reviews. Avoid this place at all cost.
