Landmark Cevicheria is a great new spot in Cobble Hill. They focus on ceviche, tacos, and mezcal cocktails, and everything we tried was excellent. The drinks were fresh, well balanced, and STRONG. We ordered the classic Peruvian ceviche, the brisket tacos, and the al pastor tacos. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned, the fish tasted very fresh, and it was light and refreshing. The tacos were also great, tender and full of flavor. The only mix-up was that the pineapple meant for the al pastor ended up on both kinds of tacos. Surprisingly everything still tasted delicious and the pineapple worked great on both tacos. The restaurant has a cozy covered patio in the back, which makes for a really nice spot to sit outside without worrying about the weather. Our waiter was very friendly, though he kept forgetting that we had already ordered and came back to take our order twice. I feel like maybe something was going on in the kitchen and he just got distracted, because he was clearly trying his best to make up for it. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and I'd absolutely come back to try more.

My dad is a long time Peru aficionado having backpacked throughout the country in his younger, skinnier days. Now, he prefers to find the best ceviche spots to get his fix. We came by on a Saturday night had an easy enough time getting a reservation although the place was packed. We sat in the back room facing a nice fireplace. We were served by Lady I believe her name was. I'm sure my dad bothered her enough with his requests although she didn't mind. Really attentive and always around when we needed her. We ordered the fruit guac, classic ceviche, fried fish, tiradito, watermelon tuna, fish tacos and a side of the corn off the cob. Everything was incredibly fresh and really well seasoned. The tiradito was my dads favorite and mine was the watermelon tuna. The addition of citrus added a really nice balance and refreshing bite. We also both raved about the side of corn. Normally I don't like mayo that much but this was so creamy and flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Also as simple as the corn nuts are they were so good I think they seasoned them as well with lime or something. Addicting. The one thing I wouldn't recommend (at least personally) is the fried fish appetizer. It was a bit too fishy to our liking, we pointed it out to the waitress who asked the chef. The chef said that they are supposed to be like that and that all the fish are fresh. I'm sure someone would enjoy them. I personally would not order it again even though it was the one dish we were most excited for.

This place is such a vibe! We grabbed drinks and apps before dinner nearby and were so glad we did! Everyone was so friendly and the drinks were so good. The apps were small but they did bring us more chips which was nice.

I think this was the "Stress Release" cocktail.

We had an early dinner at home and were feeling comfortable when we learned that a friend's dinner plans had fallen through. To keep them company, we decided to head out for a drink and maybe something light. We chose Landmark, which recently replaced Leyenda, and it did not disappoint. Though we weren't hungry enough for a full dinner, we ordered the spicy guacamole with chips, fish tacos, and a couple of cocktails. Everything was excellent. What really stood out, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our conversation with Grace made the evening especially enjoyable, and we're already planning our next visit to coincide with her shift. We keep a running list of restaurants we confidently recommend to friends, and Landmark was immediately added. We're delighted to have a neighborhood spot offering such a thoughtful Peruvian-Mexican fusion menu, and we look forward to making it a regular stop.

    Love the ambiance!

4 out of 5 stars Landmark - Smith Street, Brooklyn Let's get this out of the way: I don't remember everything about the meal. But that's not Landmark's fault, that's mezcal's fault. That said, what I do remember was mostly delightful. The space is gorgeous. Seriously. Open, stylish, and vibey without trying too hard, one of those spots that feels like a modern New Orleans courtyard with a Brooklyn finish. I sat outside, and there was something timeless and charming about the breeze, the drink, and the dusk. A rare trio. Now, onto the food: * Ceviche? Honestly... no. Basil-heavy, waterlogged, a bit like a summer romance that starts hot and ends confused. I wouldn't order it again. * Green Curry? Total sleeper hit. Deep flavor, well-balanced heat, and beautifully plated. I'd come back for that alone. * Churros? Transcendent. Crisp edges, warm core, not overly sweet, one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory. * Drinks? Strong, playful, dangerously smooth. The mezcal cocktail especially was bold and well made. Like many Chinatown-adjacent or fusion-forward spots, service is hit or miss, but it didn't drag down the experience. If you've eaten enough dim sum or pan-Latin fusion in NYC, you know the rhythm: it's not always synchronized, but it gets there eventually. Price? Not cheap, not insane. You'll feel it, but you won't regret it. Would I come back? Absolutely. But I'd skip the ceviche, double down on the curry, and save room for the churros. Pro tip: Don't let the basil win.

I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant that does a fusion of both Mexican and Peruvian, and does it well like this spot Highly recommend the New York Everything Ceviche and their unique Lomo Saltado, stay for drinks and the vibe -- great date spot in the Cobble Hill area

Food: 10/10 everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Can't wait to come again and eat through the menu. Service: 10/10 Ambiance 9/10. Would love to see more plants outside but otherwise very chic and sexy. Perfect date night . Acensio was very hospitable and knowledgeable. You could tell he was proud to serve us, and the food translated just as well. Definitely will be back. They have only been open a month, let's keep them ar

Unfortunately this place fell very flat. Leading with what we liked: Their mocktail offerings were good, promising a 0.0% ABV which is hard to come across when mocktails are offered. They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.

I've been to this cocktail bar regrettably only twice even though I live (or rather lived upcoming…read moresoon) around the corner. It's classy but not too fancy and has enough space but doesn't get too loud. They have a nice happy hour menu from Tuesday-Friday from 5 to 7 as well as all day on Sundays which has very decent prices such as an $8 old fashioned among other things (see the photo.) the bartenders I've had before have been friendly with some good recommendations. Outside of their wide selection of cocktails which run the gamut of liquors, they have a nice wine selection, a handful of craft beers, and a very small food selection. The first time I was here, I had one drink which was the excellent Star of The Ice Snow for $17 with Iwai 45 whiskey, brie-washed Carpano Antica, Fernet Branca, barrel-aged orange bitters, and sassafras bitters. It had a a bit of bitterness, some sweetness, some spice, and some light mint from the fernet and was a pleasant complex drink and was certainly worth it from the price. The second time I was here was just this evening where I had two drinks. I first went with something that I was thinking of getting the first time which is their outstanding Vivian Darkbloom for $15 with Union mezcal, lime, pineapple, charcoal, Velvet Falernum, and lime bitters. The drink has mild citrusy sweetness as well a bit of smoke from the mezcal and is probably my favorite drink I've had here though the other drink I had the first time gives it stiff competition. I asked the bartender what he recommends and after a small discussion, he said either The Bell Witch (which is a gin and chartreuse cocktail with a strong herbal flavor) or what I went with. Said drink was the Under a Cosmic Cloak for $16 with rhubarb infused rum, Trois Rivieres rum, Smith & Cross rum, yerba mate, lime, grapefruit, and whey. The bartender said that it wouldn't be overly sweet as the rum was milk washed and this was indeed the case with just a mild sweetness and some fruitiness. There was a light herbal flavor otherwise presumably from the mate as well as a light citrus note and overall, it was good though definitely the least complex of the drinks I've tried and probably my least favorite but was definitely not a bad drink. The drinks here are reasonably priced for the quality, the bartenders are friendly, and it is classy but not overbearingly so. I can see why it's popular and I wish I stopped in more.
