Sleek, inviting and an overall great experience! At my friend's suggestion whose background is partially Peruvian, we decided to try Landmark for dinner tonight. An entire year flew by (they just celebrated their one year anniversary) and I've been wanting to dine here since they opened. Finally got the opportunity and it didn't disappoint. We had the option of backyard seating, but the cozy, velvet booths lured us to dine indoors. Happy hour, food and drinks, run daily (4 -6), with great specials while Wednesdays honor the ladies by offering a free glass of Prosecco and it was delicious. We started by ordering a few items from the HH menu: Yucca fries--delicious, non greasy with a great dipping sauce. Classic Peruvian Ceviche-- accompanied by a small bowl of corn nuts, this generous portion included sweet potatoes and a dominant delicious lime dressing that left me wanting for more. Tacos: (2 pieces during HH). My friend ordered fish which looked amazing while I ordered the vegetarian, a bit of a regret in hindsight compared to the fish tacos. I ordered the vegetarian since I assumed the fish would be deep fried which I don't believe they were. Still, the vegetarian were pretty good. Feeling satisfied from the HH selections, but not quite full, we decided to share a main entree: Seafood Paella. This entree, good for sharing, included a select variety of fish with rice. Though it was good, I didn't love it and had better elsewhere. I felt the rice was a bit overcooked. Overall, I'm eager to return to Landmark and expand on the menu with dishes I had my eye on. Ceviche is a Peruvian staple and I'd like to try some other varieties in addition to HH drinks. Service was good, atmosphere was gorgeous and food was excellent. What more can you ask for? A two thumbs up, definitely recommend establishment.

My partner and I came here for happy hour (Monday - Friday 4 - 6 pm) and had such a great time. The first thing I want to mention is how friendly and kind the staff were -- they deserve the 5 stars! The happy hour deals had drinks and food, we only had drinks which included some of their signature cocktails. But actually one of the non-happy hour drinks sounded so good I had to try that one instead. The Meloncita (Peloton mezcal, jalapeno infused tequila, fresh melon purée, key lime, tajin) which was $16 and for nyc not that expensive for a cocktail! We did end up having chips and guac which was delicious and fresh. Next time I plan to try their food!

So leave it to me to go to the spot w/ ceviche and I get tacos...lol! With good reason and trust me you may get the tacos too...lol This spot is a Peruvian- Mexican fusion and it has all the right things. Lomo Saltado to Tacos, of course. I settled for the ribeye tacos w/ a side of corn off the cob. Everything was super flavorful. My companion got the al pastor tacos and left no crumbs...lol. We both had a pisco sour and it reminded me of the ones I had in Peru. While the food was great, I will definitely be back b/c Angel our server was just so awesome! Kind, patient and funny. The kind of person you want to see when you hit up your favorite spot. There's also a cool backyard to chill, drink, and eat. Definitely try it...I may see you there.

Landmark Cevicheria is a great new spot in Cobble Hill. They focus on ceviche, tacos, and mezcal cocktails, and everything we tried was excellent. The drinks were fresh, well balanced, and STRONG. We ordered the classic Peruvian ceviche, the brisket tacos, and the al pastor tacos. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned, the fish tasted very fresh, and it was light and refreshing. The tacos were also great, tender and full of flavor. The only mix-up was that the pineapple meant for the al pastor ended up on both kinds of tacos. Surprisingly everything still tasted delicious and the pineapple worked great on both tacos. The restaurant has a cozy covered patio in the back, which makes for a really nice spot to sit outside without worrying about the weather. Our waiter was very friendly, though he kept forgetting that we had already ordered and came back to take our order twice. I feel like maybe something was going on in the kitchen and he just got distracted, because he was clearly trying his best to make up for it. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and I'd absolutely come back to try more.

    Tiradito and classic ceviche

My dad is a long time Peru aficionado having backpacked throughout the country in his younger, skinnier days. Now, he prefers to find the best ceviche spots to get his fix. We came by on a Saturday night had an easy enough time getting a reservation although the place was packed. We sat in the back room facing a nice fireplace. We were served by Lady I believe her name was. I'm sure my dad bothered her enough with his requests although she didn't mind. Really attentive and always around when we needed her. We ordered the fruit guac, classic ceviche, fried fish, tiradito, watermelon tuna, fish tacos and a side of the corn off the cob. Everything was incredibly fresh and really well seasoned. The tiradito was my dads favorite and mine was the watermelon tuna. The addition of citrus added a really nice balance and refreshing bite. We also both raved about the side of corn. Normally I don't like mayo that much but this was so creamy and flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Also as simple as the corn nuts are they were so good I think they seasoned them as well with lime or something. Addicting. The one thing I wouldn't recommend (at least personally) is the fried fish appetizer. It was a bit too fishy to our liking, we pointed it out to the waitress who asked the chef. The chef said that they are supposed to be like that and that all the fish are fresh. I'm sure someone would enjoy them. I personally would not order it again even though it was the one dish we were most excited for.

It started out very good! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and the restaurant had good vibe. We were seated and the server was very friendly. We got the soup, Classic Peruvian and fish tacos. They were very accommodating and the food came out pretty quickly. The Classic Peruvian tasted good but there were more Peruvian Corn and potato than there were fish. We just let it go. To finish, we ordered the Lomo Saltado. From there it went south. The flavor was really good. However, the presentation was like a joke. The cuts of meat were so small that they looked like cat food. It looks like they just gathered up left over cut off pieces. Lomo Saltado is one of our favorite Peruvian dishes but we had never seen a dish with such small cuts of meat. I know they're trying to cut cost of the meat but that was extreme. Then our server came over to check on us every 10 minutes asking us if he can take the plates and asks if everything was alright. It came to a point where we started to feel rushed and uncomfortable. It was getting very annoying. Maybe he wanted us to leave. We wanted to like this place but with such a bad ending, we're not going back.

This place is such a vibe! We grabbed drinks and apps before dinner nearby and were so glad we did! Everyone was so friendly and the drinks were so good. The apps were small but they did bring us more chips which was nice.

I think this was the "Stress Release" cocktail.

We had an early dinner at home and were feeling comfortable when we learned that a friend's dinner plans had fallen through. To keep them company, we decided to head out for a drink and maybe something light. We chose Landmark, which recently replaced Leyenda, and it did not disappoint. Though we weren't hungry enough for a full dinner, we ordered the spicy guacamole with chips, fish tacos, and a couple of cocktails. Everything was excellent. What really stood out, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our conversation with Grace made the evening especially enjoyable, and we're already planning our next visit to coincide with her shift. We keep a running list of restaurants we confidently recommend to friends, and Landmark was immediately added. We're delighted to have a neighborhood spot offering such a thoughtful Peruvian-Mexican fusion menu, and we look forward to making it a regular stop.

4 out of 5 stars Landmark - Smith Street, Brooklyn Let's get this out of the way: I don't remember everything about the meal. But that's not Landmark's fault, that's mezcal's fault. That said, what I do remember was mostly delightful. The space is gorgeous. Seriously. Open, stylish, and vibey without trying too hard, one of those spots that feels like a modern New Orleans courtyard with a Brooklyn finish. I sat outside, and there was something timeless and charming about the breeze, the drink, and the dusk. A rare trio. Now, onto the food: * Ceviche? Honestly... no. Basil-heavy, waterlogged, a bit like a summer romance that starts hot and ends confused. I wouldn't order it again. * Green Curry? Total sleeper hit. Deep flavor, well-balanced heat, and beautifully plated. I'd come back for that alone. * Churros? Transcendent. Crisp edges, warm core, not overly sweet, one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory. * Drinks? Strong, playful, dangerously smooth. The mezcal cocktail especially was bold and well made. Like many Chinatown-adjacent or fusion-forward spots, service is hit or miss, but it didn't drag down the experience. If you've eaten enough dim sum or pan-Latin fusion in NYC, you know the rhythm: it's not always synchronized, but it gets there eventually. Price? Not cheap, not insane. You'll feel it, but you won't regret it. Would I come back? Absolutely. But I'd skip the ceviche, double down on the curry, and save room for the churros. Pro tip: Don't let the basil win.

    Love the ambiance!

Cosy beautiful place! Delicious food and amazing team. Will be back to try more food and drinks.

I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant that does a fusion of both Mexican and Peruvian, and does it well like this spot Highly recommend the New York Everything Ceviche and their unique Lomo Saltado, stay for drinks and the vibe -- great date spot in the Cobble Hill area

The bi-level bar and lounge was dark, swanky, and seductive. It would make an excellent spot for dates or groups of friends, like mine. We started off sitting at the bar, as there were no large tables available upon our arrival. However, after about 15 minutes, the host approached to tell us that he could actually seat us. I picked up my glass, which was wet with condensation, and it slipped out of my hands. I was able to collect it with only a minor spill, but the host insisted that the bar staff make me a new cocktail in case the glass had chipped at all. It was a considerate gesture that I greatly appreciated. Plus, since I had already taken a few sips, I was thrilled to get those back in a new glass! In terms of my cocktail of choice, I had opted for the Hot Tijuana Tease, a fiery blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, chile poblano liqueur, and lime juice. So, it was essentially a spicy margarita, and it was excellent. There were clean, crisp notes of peppery heat balanced with layers of robust smoke. My only complaint about the lounge was that the bathrooms were beyond tiny. There were two unisex stalls in a very tight alcove that also included a cramped sink counter. It was awkward and uncomfortable to share that space with another patron. Aside from that, the Hide Rooftop was a beautiful place with a friendly staff and interesting drinks.
