This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the city! I love this place. It's very homey -- it's run by three older ladies who are very playful and friendly. When I visit, I feel like I'm visiting three Korean aunties at home. They add to the family-owned vibe of the place. The food is phenomenal. I always order the kimchi jiggae. I've had other kimchi jiggaes at other restaurants, and this is the best one I've had! The japchae is also ELITE. The bulgogi fries - delicious!! If you're craving Korean food, come here!! It's so welcoming and homey and the food is so good.

It was a good spot to grab a bit. Friendly staff and decent food. Got 2 dishes and they were both good quality.

Rounded up to 5 stars because the Aunties here are so cute, vibrant, charming, and hospitable. They are the best. Their service here is top-notch. They'll make you feel welcomed, well-served, and right at home. 5+ stars for the Aunties. The food was also tasty. Everything was fresh and authentic. It could have used a little more on the savory, umami, flavor-bomb scale that you may get from other top-notch Korean restaurants. But still very good. 4 stars for the food. Because of the service, I'm rounding up to 5 stars. This is a can't-go-wrong spot if you're feeling like Korean food and in the Flatiron district.

We stopped by Mista Oh while visiting the Chelsea area and had a great visit! It's a very hidden, hole in the wall place. However, the indoor decor is very cute and fun. The staff were welcoming and quickly took our order. We both had the Bulgogi Lunch special which was a great price for all that you get. Wish the bulgogi had a little more flavor/marinade to it, but overall, I was pretty happy with our meal. Took a bit to get our check, but I think the staff just didn't want to rush us. We would definitely visit again, especially to try the kimchi stew!

Comes with the soup, brocolli, kimchi fish and potato.

We visited this hole in the wall restaurent and were taken by surprise! This place is the cutest restaurent I have visited since a while.. The service was polite and quick. The ambiance had a nice vibe to it! Lots of energy even though it was around 8pm.. We ordered the soup to begin with but, was a little too spicy for us.. flavour was nice - DoenJang Jjigae, then ordered the Seafood pancake - just yum! The LA Galbi was just outstanding and so was the Khimchi fried rice! The food was amazing for a fun sit down dinner after a long day. The aunties in this place are just super warm and and friendly! This place is great for a casual Korean restaurent. Do visit it if you're around the area!

Truly a welcoming small business family owned establishment. Since the moment we entered, staff was very attentive and welcoming greeting us and for reservations, they actually reserved a table for us with our name on a cute note card. They made the entire meal very lighthearted and family like experience which was so heartwarming to experience in the middle of NYC. The food was delicious and great price like the soondubu soup really hot the spot for just $20! The galbi is a little on pricer side $37 and not as many pieces as I would've liked but soooo delicious. Overall amazing experience, would come again! Would be a great place to celebrate birthday too

Got their soondubu jjigae after a long day of walking and it definitely hit the spot! The beef was super delicious and the stew was flavorful. Could've been a tad more spicy in my opinion but that's just because I love spice. Otherwise the vibes were great, interior looked very nice, and we got seated right away which was a total plus.

Overall: 4/5 Food: 4/5 - I got the army stew (budae jigae) and my friend got the soon tofu stew and the food was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. The fillings of the army stew were a bit lacking and the side dishes were just alright. Value: 4/5 - My meal ended up costing close to $30 which is standard for the area but the fillings of the soup were not that great and would probably get better value somewhere else. Service: 5/5 - We were warmly welcomed and greeted from the beginning and our server was attentive and kind! Overall, this place was a solid place to get korean food if in the flatiron area ! I'm not too sure if I would go out of my way to come here but would maybe come back if I was in the area !

Terrific casual Korean restaurant. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening and even though it was our first time there, we received a warm welcome as if we were family coming to dinner. We started with the Seafood Pancake which was excellent and then had a nice combination of meat dishes: Truffle Bulgogi Rice, Galbi Korean BBQ and LA Galbi Korean BBQ - all very good. Great, friendly service throughout (with a bit of humor sometimes thrown in!) Overall, terrific food in a casual environment.

Came here for lunch since I was in the Flatiron neighborhood and super glad I did! They have a bunch of really solid (and great value) lunch combo options- I got the bulgogi lunch set which came with soup, salad, a generous helping of bulgogi, dumplings, and several yummy side dishes - I was blown away by all it included and ate every last crumb. Yum!

Tucked away next to a more vibrant patio dining eatery, we chose Mr Mista Oh for the reviews. Bummer we got put into a dinner menu as our late lunch was already at 3pm (pricier options). DD tried bulgogi which she absolutely loved! I had the Dolsot Bibimbap. Kind of my first time trying it, I didn't realize the need to mix it all together w sauce before I was a third in. The sizzling bowl made everything come together and the crispy burnt ends of the rice were fun to pick out. Was full even through dinner! Thank you to our kind server too!

Wanted to try something nearby since we were staying in the area and it was kinda rainy out. Decided to check this place out, I was able to make a reservation on open table without any issues. Service was great and we received our food fairly quickly. Ordered the bulgogi kimchi fries and the soondubu with beef. The fries were very good I liked how crispy they were. The soondubu was also tasty and on the mild side which was fine. Noise level can be challenging if there are a lot of people. We were seated in between two other tables of two and they were all just really involved in their conversations with a lot of intense emotions. Overall nice neighborhood spot.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

But there's no denying that BCD has upped their soondubu game considerably in the last decade+ with a thicker, more deeply flavored broth, and now easily rivals my longtime favorite and gold standard, the OG So Kong Dong in Fort Lee. Then I stumbled into a hack that changed my view: lunch! I ducked in for a late lunch on a whim while walking by one day, and this turned out to be a much chiller hour, unhurried and no reservation needed. I was promptly seated, my order taken, and the banchan swiftly laid out. The banchan spread is solid across the board (the little fried fish does nothing for me, but seems to be a highlight for everyone else). I especially love the kimchi, near-perfect IMO, and the pickled cucumber. There's a modest lunch discount, which is a nice bonus for someone who likes to order aggressively. I usually get an oyster, seafood, or assorted soondubu (with a raw egg cracked in), danger spicy of course! Or go the C1 combo route with a galbi (marinated bbq beef short ribs) + smaller soondubu. It's an enormous amount of food, so I take most of the galbi home and feel no shame about it. The galbi, by the way, has also gotten noticeably better over the years - meatier, tender, and the flavor is on point. I've also enjoyed their bibimbap, bulgogi, jap chae, and seafood pancake. Finally, let's talk heat - this chili-head loooves fire! And BCD's danger level is one of the rare instances where the spice level actually meets my punishing tolerance for heat, not some pretense at "American spicy.," despite this being a chain. Their danger level actually means business and brings tears to my eyes, literally. It's still not my favorite place ambience wise, and dinner remains a contact sport I've mostly opted out of, as gone are the days that I can tolerate a culinary mosh pit, and any wait longer than 10 minutes (and only for a superlative place) will trigger an automatic ejection of my presence. But for lunch? Unexpectedly great. 4 stars for dinner, 5 for lunch.
