Waited in line far too long, despite it not being nearly as busy as other places (this was at Rib Fest in Pittsburgh, BTW) and when I finally got to the head of the line the guy working behind the counter pretty much treated me as a fleeting thing and dumped a bunch of fatty meat and grease - there was literally a pool of grease in the container. Bad flavors, bad service. Terrible overall - if this place even tried to exist in a place like Austin it would be shutdown within a quarter due to competition. Nah the signs are misrepresentative of what this place has. So frustrating to go to a supposedly award winning BBQ place and it's literally the physical embodiment of a shart.

At the Pittsburgh Rib Fest, my husband and I purchased a sample of three ribs from Pigfoot. The employees served us promptly and politely. My husband and I thought that the ribs tasted better than most of the other vendors' ribs. We would have preferred that the meat be more tender, but the ribs were a large size and contained lots of meat. According to Pigfoot's website, they sell additional foods such as pulled pork, BBQ chicken, beef brisket, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and bottles of sauces.

Lily was great about checking in on us, and she was very kind with my grandma who can be confused and grumpy in restaurants. We want to go back!

I'd been curious about this place for a while as I frequent some of the nearby shops and saw that…read moreit was a locally owned spot in a sea of chain food establishments. If you're looking for a traditional BBQ joint, this isn't it. The concept is similar to that of a Chipotle where you choose a base and build a bowl with a variety of toppings, some BBQ related, some not so much. They do have BBQ plates if you want to go that route. I got a bowl with nacho chips and rice as a base. I added the brisket, some nacho cheese and a few other toppings. Overall the food was fine. Nothing really had a lot of flavor, but it wasn't bad at all. I tried the brisket on it's own, and it was tender, but again no flavor stuck out to me. I imagine you might be able to taste the meat better in a BBQ plate vs. the bowl. It was a good value though. I think my bowl came to $13 dollars and it was definitely a good amount of food. Good for two meals for sure. I also got a nutella cookie which was pretty good. It seemed homemade and had a lot of nutella in it. They had some bottled drinks but no soda fountain machine that I could see, which I thought was odd. The guy who took my order and put together my bowl was nice and they have a few tables for dining in. I tried to stay there and do a little work as I was waiting for my dog at the groomer, but he didn't know the password to the wifi.

I thought it odd that they didn't have a chicken/rib combo but I got chicken and shrimp. Best decision ever. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was fresh off the barbie. But the deal was the mac and cheese. They must have somebody's mama back there cheesing the macaroni. Ooey gooey cheesy. Not cheese sauce. We got a carry out and it held well. Way to go Cleveland!

*Reopened as of July 2026*…read more Didn't hear much about the reopening of this location but decided to stop in for dinner. Menu is smaller now, food is good and prices are about what you'd expect from a brewery. Main issue was the service. This is something I don't complain about too much, but this was pretty bad. Place wasn't busy at all, with just one other table and a couple people at the bar. Took us about 20 minutes to get an appetizer and another 30-40 minutes to get our food. Waitress didn't give us napkins or silverware, we had to ask. Every interaction we had with the staff was super awkward (we had to flag down the waitress and ask to order our main course) I personally can't see this location lasting. Dinner time on a weeknight and it was DEAD. Service and prices might be a reason for that.

Their pulled pork & sweet potato fries (oh I hope they still have them!) are my go-to items. Avoid seasonal items & the chicken parm sandwich (chicken was more like a hockey puck & extremely hard to bite into). The service is always amazing & it is so fast to get a table and food, no matter how packed it is. I highly recommend. They are always changing their menu, so be aware some things come and go, but always good regardless. Would also recommend buffalo chicken dip; not too spicy and not made with nasty blue cheese. Edited to add: I went Feb 2024 & the sweet potato fries are gone. They changed their buffalo chicken dip to have hard as a rock pita chips (could not even bite into them) instead of tortilla chips. I do not like any of the side options. I hate fair fries so threw mine out. Really miss the sweet potato fries, green bean fries, & good appetizer options. I will no longer visit here until they fix the menu.
