The ribs are excellent! It's best to call your order in advance to avoid the wait. The portions are good and everything is seasoned well!

I had their catfish dinner and it was awesome, three nice sized pieces of fish. A must try. Polish boy & onion rings. read more

It's really too bad that the service here is so terrible. Otherwise, I'd definitely frequent Hollands BBQ since it's so close to my house and their food is good. Ordered from here on DoorDash at about 2:20 pm on a Saturday afternoon. They open at 2 and it was nowhere near dinner time, so we figured we might be able to get our food a little faster than their usual 1 hour wait. Wrong. The order still said it would take about 50 minutes. Okay, whatever. After about an hour and 15 minutes, the Doordasher messaged to say that the restaurant gave our food to another customer and that they were refusing to remake it. Things like happen all too often here. Mix-ups by the restaurant and they never take responsibility or try to correct the error in favor of the customer. When I have come in to place or pick up an order, there is always 1 person at the front handling the phone, delivery service orders, and people coming inside to place orders, as well as cashing folks out. It seems like too much for 1 person to handle and obviously a recipe for disaster. Luckily there were no issues getting a refund. I won't be trying this again anytime soon. read more

Let me start by saying this place is really close to my house and I started going there because of a friend. I haven't had this in almost a year and had a taste for a barbecue. I do think they need to do better with their online advertisement and pricing because as far as I knew from not being there in a while, they were still the same, but I was wrong .. apparently they went up $2. Which I have no problem paying if the food is worth it it would just have been nice to know what I was getting myself into. I got the rib tip and wing combo. The meat is always seasoned pretty well. I do feel like they changed their fries. They weren't as good. I think they used to be fresh cut and now they're frozen. I don't get sauce on my chicken cause I like the crisp the wing tips were pretty tender. The fries in the surprise price point is why they got four stars. read more

The food here is really good - when you can reach someone! You're more than likely going to have to order in person to make your order because the lines are always busy or they never click back over to you. Be prepared to wait especially on the weekends. read more

I ordered a cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was hot and had plenty of meat but could've been seasoned a little better. Also, I love mayo but they put waaaayy too much on my sandwich. The fries were hot and pretty good. Service was good. The restaurant seamed clean as I walked in. read more

Sauce is so good, suggest you order ahead of time they be quite busy. I usually get the long bone dinner wings are great too

So, back in 2019, I moved into the Euclid area and couldn't find a great rib to save my life. Then I stumbled upon the smell all too familiar, the smell of charcoal and pork. Hollands BBQ, a staple on the upper Eastside that has mouth watering ribs, great customer service and wings for those who are about that chicken. Everytime I go to Holland BBQ, I get a full slab and fries, they load me up and I give portions that I can eat on for days. Plus, management is kind and brings you your food to the car. People are welcoming and take ownership when it isn't right. It may not be your expensive BBQ sit down restaurant, but be it everso humble, there's no place like Holland BBQ. Don't believes me? Try it yourself. read more

They stop taking orders well before they close!!! I got turned around with zero regard. No worries, I won't be back.

The chicken was on point. Fresh an hot. But my rib tip dinner horrible unfortunately. Water down sauce. All fat no meat on the rib tips. Just gave me scraps. Scraps of fries but the coleslaw was on point. If I had to rate them 10 out of 10 they only get a three read more

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS STANK! from the moment i walked in to this sweltering establishment with the doors open, flies everywhere, to the rude and clearly overworked gentleman behind the counter who acted like i was an inconvenience for asking for a menu. Not to mention he said " howd you find us google? we got the menu on there so", so nothing my brother, so nothing. My kids wanted BBQ and i was already 90% of the way home so i decided despite his attitude i would order. I got some wings, some ribs, they were out of mozzarella sticks, , so i had to get just some fries. Its a shame because their sauce was out of this world, their ribs were fall off the bone sucking good! their wings were your typical fried wings, fries typical also. Catfish was a good portion for the money, came with cole slaw and fries as well.Their red velvet cake was dense and not moist at all, not sure if its box or home made but they need a different recipe either way. In all fairness i give them 1 star for not taking an hour with my food, only about 50 minutes AFTER i complained because THREE customers who ordered after me with much larger orders received their food before me, can we guess why? I can.... its tons of bbq spots in euclid, this aint it. read more

Da best damn ribs in Cleveland bar none. Bob Holland is da man, just a note folks. The food was decent, but the customer service really sucked! I ordered a Center rib dinner and the sign on the wall said $13 so I questioned when I was told to pay $15 plus $.50 because I had a credit card. I would hate to be the owner of this establishment and have her work for me turning my customers away!!! read more

I ordered two half slab dinners, one with light sauce for myself and the other with regular sauce for my wife. The two half slabs couldn't look anymore different. I don't know what was added to the rib sauce, but I had the "runs" for almost 2-days. The girl behind the counter, providing me service, was using the word "skeezer" when not addressing me. Very suspicious. I hope that I was not the target of some kind of malicious mischief. read more

When I think of Cleveland take out BBQ Holland's exemplifies it. A mixture of charcoal grilled meats, fried foods, Mac and cheese ,wing dings, green beans... The charcoal barrel BBQ in the parking lot that grills the meats smells amazing. I ordered rib tip dinner and fries, and half a slab dinner with green beans. The portions were monster. The ribs had a lot of chew to them but decent flavor. The ribs needed to be finished in an oven to break down the meat better. served with coleslaw and 2 pieces of wheat bread from the bag. Same with the rib tips. French fries were hot and crispy but generic. Green beans were cafeteria style. read more

Super friendly, with tasty food. Located in a historic neighborhood. It's a 5 min drive off the 90 freeway. There was a cheerful man cooking ribs out front in the sidewalk. The gentleman inside was very accommodating as I searched the menu. They have everything BBQ from shrimp to ribs. I was torn between chicken and pulled pork. I ultimately picked the pork. It didn't disappoint! The serving was generous. The meat was moist, the sauce had a wonderful balance of sweet, acid with a little spice on the back end. The sandwich was served open face with fries. They drizzled some of the sauce over the fries which stayed crispy despite the sauce so well done all around. My wife and I split the sandwich and were totally satisfied. Best $8 meal I've had in ages. read more

The services sucks.. I don't like bad attitudes when I'm spending my hard earned money..

Please order with extra time. I ordered at 12:11, and was quoted fifteen minutes. I arrived a few minutes before 12:30 and was told it would be another eight minutes. I left at 12:42 when my food still wasn't ready because I had to get back to school before my planning period was over. The lady in front of me arrived to pick up her ribs and had an additional 45 minutes for her ribs. I'm planning to go back, after school maybe when there isn't a rush. read more

Every day after school my kids and I walk by and smell the grill in the parking lot smoking and smelling of summer and meat. My son is always asking to eat there; however, I do most of the cooking and eating out can be expensive. The decor and building may be a bit run down, but the food smells delicious. My children and I stopped by and ordered chicken fingers and fries. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for the food to come out, but it came out hot and fresh. The chicken was real pieces of white meat with a good crust of breading. The fries, while a bit salty, were delicious and addictive. The meal was a generous helping of fries and chicken for about $5. Both my children (who can, at times, be picky) ate their meals in silence and exalted the taste. I look forward to trying some other items from the menu in the future! Call ahead ordering is available if one does not have time to wait. read more

While the inside had me kind of skeptical the BBQ chicken wings made up for any trepidation I was experiencing. The wings were made to order so they were steaming hot. They also give you plenty of sauce which a lot of places don't. My only complaint is the way it looks. Not the greatest decor. Looks like they should offer more because there was a lot of empty shelving. Maybe they used to have snacks and such. read more

owner and son are complete a_ _ holes, went in there 2 days before new years attempted to order a bbq rib dinner the son stated "you have to get in rotation to get a rib dinner before the holiday, I hate when people just come in here expecting a rib dinner close to the holiday" the food is nothing special just close and convenient, someone else I know was going to go in there but was going to stop in another business first and was told not to park in front on 185th because those spots are for his customers. This person is someone that can make or break you in this area, he just looked at him and laughed, he knows he cannot stop people from parking anywhere, more money they missed out on trying to be arrogant, you never know who you are talking to. you don't know what's happening day to day sometimes they take credit cards sometimes they don't. When they take your order they act as if they are doing you a favor. There are to many barbecue places around to deal with this type of mess, I will never be in any restaurants " rotation" and I have no reason to ever go there again, they take the flavor out of your mouth. read more

Some of the worse customer service I've seen in a local restaurant in a long time. I went based on a recommendation from a family member As soon as I walked in with two other patrons a man greeted us by screaming "we ain't taking no more orders for 20-30 minutes". I then asked how long until the food is ready after the wait to order. He replied about an hour. I didn't feel like 3 wings and fries was worth an hour and a half wait so I left. I decided to try again today and as soon I walked in I asked how long the wait was. I was told I could order now but there's four tickets ahead of you. I said that's fine. The phone rang and the guy answered it while saying he was about to take my order. Side note: I called before I arrived but no one answered my call. The gentleman was literally on the phone for over 10 minutes taking the order and basically naming off the entire menu to the customer on the phone. Again, I was there before the phone rang and at that point my order hadnt been taken and other patrons began to walk in. A man cooking from the kitchen begins to tell the customers "aye this is how we roll here, some people say they ain't coming back and leave". I thought this was a horrible display of customer service. I hear the food is good but I'll never find out because I'm never going back. Wish them much success though...I guess. read more

I decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews. I was very disappointed. The ribs were overcooked and bland tasting. And the chicken wings were small and very bland tasting.
