We always make a point to stop here whenever we're in the area--it's that good. Their white sauce is hands-down the best, especially on the turkey or brisket (perfect for keto). I've also fallen in love with their beef ribs, though they're a limited-time special--so grab them when you can! This year we took a chance on their holiday dinner for 12-15 people and were absolutely blown away. Everyone was impressed, and it made our holiday so much smoother not having to worry about cooking. The meats here can be somewhat inconsistent. I've had brisket here a couple of times, and sometimes, it's been great and juicy. Other times, it's been on the dry side and a little too salty. I had the chopped brisket sandwich today. The meat already came sauced. It was tasty, though I could tell the meat would have been a bit dry without the sauce, which had a bit of sweetness and a bit of a kick. I also got cornbread and the seasonal sweet - caramel bread pudding. The cornbread was just moist enough and pleasantly sweet, but the bread pudding - absolutely freaking scrumptious! It was warm and comforting buttery goodness. It had a crispy top and underneath the top was just heavenly moist softness. Petition to have the bread pudding be available year round!! The service is always quick and great here. The staff never fails to be pleasant and so nice. The meats here are priced okay, but I think the sides here can be a bit expensive, given that the portions are a bit small for me. read more

I had the brisket lunchbox with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was heavily peppered, which I actually enjoyed. Unfortunately, the brisket was extremely dry--so dry that it seemed like it had been sitting around for days. The texture was more like sawdust than barbecue. This was a company-provided lunch, and judging by how many brisket boxes ended up in the trash, I wasn't the only one disappointed. I had an amazing time when I went here. The service was amazing despite them being busy, everyone was very kind and helpful. The food is very delicious and flavorful, I like having several options of sauces to choose from. The pulled chicken sandwich is my favorite with the Mac n cheese! If I had never been to Mission BBQ before, I would never EVER patronize one again based on my experience here. IT was AWFUL. Thankfully, I've been to the Westlake location several times and they never disappoint. This location...disappointment on every level. So let's start, shall we? I ordered what I alway order in Westlake, beef brisket, extra fatty (they call it "wet" but we all know what it really means. It was AWEFUL! TERRIBLE. Half of it wasn't edible. Even my dog wouldn't eat it...no lie...I gave it to him and he wouldn't eat it. For $26 you'd expect bigger portions, which I always get at the Westlake location. But the quality of meat was terrible. It was dry, and burnt...overcooked brisket. For $26 dollars, the portions were skimpy, and I asked for an extra piece of cornbread. You'd think this would be a goodwill effort givn the unit cost for a piece of cornbread. This was piece was so small, I could have ordered a regular sized muffin and gotten much, much more. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.... If you're in Westlake...go to the branch on Crocker. Totally different experience. Much better than this dump. Can you tell I'm pissed? read more

I decided to try MissionBBQ for our dinner tonight. I've had great experiences there before so after finishing my ride-share job I headed there. I went online and the site was easy to use and I appreciated that. I decided to just go there directly and was happy to make inside. Very impressive and clean environment. All the employees were very enthusiastic and polite and efficient. The young lady at the order register was very professional. I then waited for my order. This only took a couple minutes and the gentleman did a terrific job in pulling my order together, even though the first dish he brought to me was actually for another couple waiting. But, to his credit he quickly fixed the error and everybody was happy. He presented my two orders. Everything was perfect. He even wished me, by my name , to have a great evening. And the food was great! My wife had the ribs and I had the brisket with sides. Definitely will be back!! This is by far one of the best smoked meats/bbq spots in Cleveland. Now, I know this is a chain restaurant but the food here is always consistently delicious. I've been coming here for years with my kids and they love it just as much. As soon as you step in, you will notice that it's very Pro Police and military, I love that they put a focus on our brothers and sisters in the armed forces. This makes me love them even more. They are always smiling and eager to take your order, love that they have a great atmosphere here, service is always great, most times one of the employees will come to the table and ask if they can help in any way. Now to the food. Smoked turkey is a must try here, if you do get it, ask for a side of the Alabama sauce, goes great with the turkey. Brisket is delicious here, all the meat here is great. Can't go wrong with any of it. Unto the sides, they have great fries. The brisket beans is my favorite side here. You must always get the Mac n cheese, one of the best I've had. Went to Mission BBQ in Parma on Tuesday, 6/3 for lunch. Have never been and walked in and was immediately greeted by the team member at the cash register asking if we had ever eaten there before, which we had not. Immediately started explaining the menu and choices and as she was taking our order, the National Anthem came on and everything stopped. Loved this! We ordered a pull pork sandwich, with green beans/bacon and a smoked turkey sandwich with baked beans. Order was ready in 3 minutes. Before taking our order back to the table, Jimmy, the manager, explained what all the sauces were, what was at the table and let us know other team members would stop by to check on us, which they did. Customer service was phenomenal. Jimmy came over and explained what was on all the walls, which we appreciated. Will absolutely be back to try other dishes as well. I got a "wet" brisket sandwich. It was a bun full of fat. They must have pulled it out of the waste bin. I could not eat it, unfortunately I got take out or I would have asked for a "dry sandwich. Ordered Mission BBQ last week for our staff Christmas party, which was today. Very impressed with Mission BBQ! From the initial phone call to the food being delivered, I felt that the staff took excellent care of us. All of the food we ate was delicious! Seasoned well too! The cold slaw arrived cold and they even brought a tray of ice for the container of slaw to sit in. The hot food stayed hot in the containers it was packaged in. We like having two bottles of different bbq sauces. The meats were tender too; so good! Loved the sides! The breads were fresh too. We had both cornbread and slider buns. Great BBQ at Mission BBQ in Parma, Ohio. You start out by placing your order at the register, and within a couple of minutes they call your name. It was very fast and friendly service. When someone stopped by our table to see if we were enjoying our meal, they remembered my name. They might be a simple thing, but I thought it was just one of the reasons the service here was exceptional. Now for the BBQ..... it was absolutely fantastic. I had the brisket and loved it. The meat was juicy and very flavorful. The bark on this brisket was perfect. I also had the sausage with cheddar and jalapeño. The sausage was nice and juicy with a good kick to it. Very friendly service but really high prices. The Mac & Cheese tastes great but the portions are small. The quality is inconsistent. Sometimes you'll only get burnt ends for your brisket which is great if that's what you ordered but a real disappointment if you didn't. I was actually surprised that I haven't written a review about this place before. I love everything about this place but especially not just what they do on Veterans Day but the atmosphere when you walk into this place on Veterans Day. I love coming in here on Veterans Day and seeing a lot of the older, seasoned veterans wearing their hats and jackets. There is so much history and these guys are sitting around and reminiscing while enjoying a quality meal. Being a veteran myself, I'm always very appreciative when restaurants do things for veterans And even make it a point to simply thank them. This establishment goes out of its way to think military, police and firefighters. The walls are adorned with tributes to anybody and everybody who's served. The staff is so fantastic and friendly every time I go even when it's crazy busy on Veterans Day. The chopped brisket in Memphis belle sauce w a side of collard greens is my go to. I really like their collard greens to the point of how usually get an extra side or two to take home. While I've eaten here many times the chopped brisket is my favorite but also pulled pork is very good. I recommend the Carolina vinegar barbecue sauce or the Bay-B-Que sauce (BBQ w Old Bay flavor). They have many different barbecue flavors but these two are not your traditional barbecue sauce but very good. Ask for a sample and they'll be happy to give you one.
