I like the wings and their fries and the employees are cool and professional I like my wings plain and the sauce in the sized. I always come through when I visit!! I have eaten here over a zillion times as a child and now an adult. Disclaimer : this is the hood family owned restaurant that might not look pretty from the outside BUT the food always SLAPS!! The building is on corner with no parking lot. But there's a lot of street parking. There's no call in orders nor online pickups so you go inside and wait. Depending on the day of the week, the wait might be up to 30-45 minutes if it's packed. So plan accordingly lol. They have BBQ, wings, fish, and also turkey, beef and pork polish boys! You have not lived until you experience a Cleveland polish boy!!! First you order after that he alleges a time frame. It's funny every other restaurant from to pick up is averaging 40 min wait. However we waited over an hour and when asked a timeframe cooks were rude said it's not Chinese food. Really? Bias as hell and duly note there food is always hot fresh and ready. Funny it was 20 plain wings a piece of fish and beef Polish Boy. It required over an hour while 17 customers ordered and received their orders. Just like Whitmore's, Mt Pleasant serves a near identical version of the Polish Boy. The only thing is, their customer service is a lot better. It has the same hand cut fries, covered with bbq sauce on top of a perfectly cooked keilbasa. There's no place to sit so it take out only. And it's lacking the cole slaw as well. Needs a lot more of it. And just like Whitmore's, the fries soak all the bbq sauce, so it would be nice if they would have added some more bbq sauce. Overall a very tasty Polish Boy that rivals Whitmore's as one of the best in the city. read more

I've only tried the turkey ribs here but I love them. They have alot of thick juicy meat on them. Good sauce as well. Customer service could be better and the place could use a good cleaning though. My husband likes the pork ribs here so this is a frequent go to for us. read more

I visited this restaurant during my vacation to Cleveland for Memorial Day 2019. I ordered 2 items; the deluxe Polish boy and the ribs. The polish boy was one of the best meals I had during my trip. Beef sausage covered with fries, slaw (I had mine without), pork shoulder and bbq sauce. Very messy and very delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the ribs. They were fatty and dry. I do not recommend them. The prices were fair, slightly higher than they "should" be. I would eat here again, just not the ribs. read more

I try to support black businesses being black myself and understanding the struggle. But I will not spend another dime in this horrible place! The customer service is beyond horrendous. The lady taking orders would be more suited in a butcher shop pounding meat! I went there on a Friday evening two weeks ago to buy a slab of ribs but ended up buying them down further up Kinsman/Chagrin at Whitmores. The lady was constantly either hollering or rolling her eyes at customers trying to place orders--or both. She had finished with the person ahead of me and was just standing there looking stupid. After a minute or so I stepped up and gave her my order only to have her yell loudly "IS THIS A PICKUP?!!!" I said no I'll like to place the order. Her listening skills are atrocious as well cause she yelled again. Never once did I say it was a pickup and I was standing in the line to place orders. I told her to forget it and drove to Whitmores. How the owner thinks it's ok to have an employee berating paying customers should tell you all you need to know about this place. read more

Called in order as usual. Arrived and waited 15+ minutes anyway. As soon as I get to the window dude opens a door and says I have to wear a mask. I say I've been here several times before. "I could get fined" I say I'll pay it! "I'm this close and you say something now"? "You ever think that there may be a reason why I can't wear a mask? But even so you have this big plexiglass divider between us. Just let me get my food and I'll be on my way." We go back and forth. So I get in my car and drive and then realize I have a mask. The food is delicious, I love their bbq. But I don't visit as often as I used to no more due to their new help up front. Been going their since I was a kid. I would give 5 stars for the food and cooks but the lady that they have up front now makes it really hard to come in there, she is rude and disrespectful af. And if you get an attitude back with her she doesn't like it. She needs to learn some cx service skills and how to talk to people if she gone be taking orders. Hands down the best polish boy sandwich in Cleveland. The dog is spicy with a good snap. Topped with shredded BBQ pork, home made cole slaw, and an order of fries. The sandwich is rolled up tightly in foil and handed over by the smiling counter person who issues a challenge to eat the sandwich and not implode in the process. I would drive across town any day or night to take them up on the challenge. But I have yet to be able to finish that sandwich in one sitting. They are a longtime fixture in Cleveland and this little neighborhood restaurant is five star for polish boys sandwiches. read more

They suck! Support black business my ass! I've been going here for years. They don't value their customers at all! I'm a regular! I get off work and go for whiting dinners and order a large okra. Send my fiance up there for a large okra. It gets to me, I call them because its a regular, okra 15 pieces to be exact for $4. I call, they tell me to come back. I go back and the cook says my dude must have ate some. Problem is he don't eat it, he want to argue about it...after you instructed me to come back? I make $32 an hour and was eating here on the regular. Why would they tell me to come back if you was going to to treat me as if I lied or my dude who don't eat it! I won't be going back ever!
