Used to be so good. Really fell off. People fighting. Food take forever. And doesn't taste great.

My colleagues and I placed our order a day in advance (Thursday) through DoorDash to ensure we would receive lunch on Friday. We anticipated delivery between 12:00 PM and 12:10 PM. However, the lunch never arrived. When we contacted DoorDash Customer Service--since the restaurant did not answer their phone--we were connected to the restaurant staff, who informed us that the delivery person would be bringing our order within the next 12 minutes. Unfortunately, less than seven minutes later, the entire $70 order was canceled. This order was for five people. We work a nine-hour day and are unable to leave to obtain lunch elsewhere. I would not recommend this restaurant as an option. The service has been declining over time. The quality of their customer service is unacceptable. We were told that the restaurant was closed, but one of our team leads was present at the location to attempt to facilitate the order. Nonetheless, the order was canceled. Therefore, I advise against relying on their online ordering system, as it is inconsistent, and their customer service is equally unreliable. read more

The chicken wings are the best in Cleveland. I'm loyal to my wing places and Kim's took over the no. 1 spot. Service could be faster, but when your food is this good, it's worth the wait. The place is small but great people are always in there. read more

Amazing food, looooooong wait times. I had heard about this place from numerous Clevelanders. This is a go-to chicken spot for many of the locals. This place isn't in the nicest area, but like many good eateries, that is a sign that the food will be good. I walked in and saw a lobby full of partrons who looked hot and tired of waiting. I didn't mind this because I knew I wanted to try them. When I placed my order, the cashier told me it would be about 15 minutes. Around 40 minutes later, my number was called. I overheard some other patrons stating that the cashier tells everyone the same wait time. I ordered 10 wings and fries with sauce on everything and a Polish Boy. My biggest mistake was waiting until I got back to my hotel to dig in. Our hotel was about 30 minutes away, so that caused the heat from the hot food to make my wings and fries a bit soggy. But, I could tell that if I had eaten them sooner, they would've been even better. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, but I should've tried it in the parking lot. The sauce is amazing, and it can be purchased in a bottle. It reminds you of the sauce that they used to carry at Hot Sauce WIlliams. The fries were decent, and the sauce drizzled on them, making them better. The Polish Boy was huge, sloppy, and full of flavor. That is exactly how a Polish Boy should be made and consumed. Pro Tips When you order, make sure you are not in a rush. Eat your food shortly after getting it to avoid it getting soggy. Purchase a bottle of sauce to go. WIngs 1-5=4. Fries 1-5=2. The food is great but the wait could be better. Waited 45 min for a wing dinner. There appeared to be a lack of employees and the cashier would stop taking orders and leave a long line of customers to go to the back and help out in the kitchen. There's no A/C in the lobby so prepare to be hot on those 90 degree summer days while you're waiting in line and/or for your food to be called. Been eating at Kim's for years... its a must have if you're in the city for some great food. No cons on the food... only knicked two stars for the service. just because the location is on Saint Clair, you don't have to act like you're on Saint Clair long story short my order was made wrong. I asked for sauce on the side on which wasn't a big issue for me but clearly it was for the young lady that was making the food. Came here for lunch to try their Polish Boys. Nobody was up front to take our order. No biggie just waited a few minutes until an older lady came up to take our order. The Polish Boy itself was rather smaller in size. A huge plus was that it came very saucy. The bbq sauce covered the small amount of fries they put on they were frozen fries so they also lacked that flavor. Also, I could barely taste any cole slaw and the kielbasa looked old. The price for these polish boys was actually very inexpensive, but I'd rather pay a dollar more per Polish Boy to get a much bigger and better product. I can't speak for any of their other dishes they offer, because all I care for to try in Cleveland are polish boys, but there are better polish boys elsewhere and don't believe I will be returning. read more

In Beachwood area visiting friends Mothers Day weekend and a friends husband brought these wings and a polish boy home and I have to say these were some of the best wings I have ever had. Perfect crisp and not too much sauce. This was also my 1st time having a Polish Boy and it was good considering I am not the biggest fan of coleslaw but this combination along topped with fries was perfect. I end up having wings and a polish boy again the next day as I had to have this again before leaving. The service was good considering closing time and it being a very popular spot. I do not know what it is that makes food prepared behind bulletproof glass so much better. But this place......Wow!!!! The restaurant has its own private parking lot and a small dining room area. I had the rib tip combo and the strawberry shortcake pudding. The rib tips were ok, nothing special though. Now the wings, fries and strawberry shortcake pudding, that's a different story. They were off the hook. The fries were smothered. The wings had a tangy sauce, I know I have had it before, just can't recall the flavor. And the pudding....OMG....delicious. I did not have to wait long for my food either. And you get a ton of food at a reasonable price. I could not eat all my food in one sitting. The restaurant is located off the beating path, you probably would not just stumble upon it. However, you should make a special trip there, if you want so good old wings in Cleveland. To be fair I was a lifelong customer, from way back when Kim was in the kitchen herself. The community has supported her for decades and nobody will speak on how disrespectful she is to her customers. You can't call in an order or place online. Then If your willing to wait about an hour your getting very skimpy orders. I ordered a fish dinner-2 pcs which was 1 pc split in half ($10). Forgot about that experience, went back about 1yr later ordered fish sandwich. I had to lift the bread up to see the fish (6.50). One piece split in half. Never will I return. Apparently Cleveland does have its own brand of BBQ-we fry things and throw sauce on it and its delicious. I get their polish boys with extra slaw and the only time I eat coleslaw is on polish boys. They batter their wings pretty heavily, which I love, but please be advised. For me, I love that it has all that extra crunch, so I'm always on board. read more

Kim's wings!!!!! I have been going here for years. Their food is amazing. I love the sauce. I highly recommend. There are other Kim's elsewhere, but this particular Kim's on St.Claire is amazing. I believe they have more than enough customers to get into a bigger building or expand the one they are in now. And they need better napkins. But overall. 10/10 on the food. read more

I kept hearing that this once was better than the others. My experience was totally opposite. First the sign have one price but it rings up a different price. Second, there was barely any customers but it took 30mins to get a fish dinner - they said to make sure my fish was finge but my fries weren't. Then, when I say I want a refund because it's taking too long, my food appears and the cashier had an attitude and tossed me my bag. One of the things I always make sure I do when I come home to Cleveland is stop somewhere and get a polish boy.. I normally stop in Kim's because it close to my mothers house and I know I won't be disappointed. The polish boys here are just what I need for that taste of Cleveland while I'm here! They have the perfect amount of sauce and fries. The only reason I deducted a star is because this time I got wings and while I may not be the best judge since I don't really eat a lot of fried chicken, the wings weren't anything special.. I actually got two and couldn't even finish them both.. As far as decor it's not much to it.. In Ohio for the week and my husband stumbled across this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. I'm always happy to try new places especially if the food is good. It's small restaurant where you have the option to dine in or take your meal to go. While we were there no one stayed and enjoyed their meal there. We ordered two Philly cheesesteaks one chicken and one beef both came with fries and a small coleslaw, fried onion rings and five fried wings. Ok so, the bread for the cheesesteaks could have use a little toasting on the grill, there was way too much mayo on the sandwich and there wasn't enough meat on the beef cheesesteak. The onion rings were super hard and dripping with oil as if they had already been fried and just re-dropped in the grease. The wings were just ok they reminded us of the Chinese restaurant wings. The price of their wings are really expensive. First time ever paying that much per wing .$75 on Wednesday's and $1.15 regular price. Customer service can use some work ( be a bit more inviting, people are coming in and spending their hard earned money) Our wait time was beyond crazy.
