Soul bowl, it does not come this way. It's not on the menu but I order cornbread, brisket chopped, smoked sausage, macaroni & cheese and greens. We call it a Soul food bowl, let me know if you try it this way. The service is always fast, everything is ready on the line and hot. The service is amazing, and the food is very flavorful. If you dine in, they also have dessert.

I don't hand out five-star reviews often but this place was so good I couldn't find a reason to deduct a star. For the past couple of years, I've been on the search for the best BBQ in the Cleveland area. See my other reviews for my thoughts on Mabels, Smokin' BBQ, Woodstock, Landmark, and some others. My search might be over. To date, Smokehouse 91 is the absolute best BBQ in Cleveland, but it's not perfect. It's located in a small strip mall on Route 91. The parking lot was full and very difficult to find a spot. In fact, my wife almost got hit by an Amazon driver pulling in and another driver backing out--so be careful! Outside of that...Smokehouse 91 knocks it out of the park. The service is great and set-up the way a BBQ joint should be. Pick your meats...add your sides...hit the sauce station...and then eat. As always, I try to sample as many meats as I can during my BBQ visits, and today my party had a turkey sandwich, baby back ribs, smoked turkey, sliced brisket (fatty), a smoked poblano pepper sausage, and the star of the show--a beef short rib. Our sides included macaroni and cheese and the collard greens. You also get a small sampling of cole slaw pickles, and white bread with your meats. I'll start with the sides, because as I've said in my other BBQ reviews, if the restaurant puts the time in to make quality sides, then their meat is usually fantastic. My daughter and I both gave the mac-and-cheese five stars out of five. "It was so creamy, powerful, and it had the right texture," according to my daughter. I'm a huge fan of collard greens but every BBQ restaurant in Cleveland has let me down. Smokehouse 91 came up with an excellent collard green, filled with meat and just the right spicing. Five stars. The cole slaw gets four stars. It hits the right texture--I like mine a bit runny--but was a bit off on the flavor. Now for the meats: Brisket This is hands down the best brisket in the Cleveland area. It could use a bit more pepper--again, I inject my personal preferences--but it had a great looking bark and held up to the bend test. I read one review that stated the brisket didn't have a smoke ring. My brisket certainly did...not that it matters outside of appearance. The brisket was the first thing I saw when I walked in the door, and I immediately could tell this place was going to be legit. Five stars. Turkey The turkey had a great flavor profile along with being very moist. "It's the best I've had" said my wife. "It was really juicy and had a nice flavor." Five stars. Poblano Pepper Sausage Where is the eye-popping emoji when you need it? The sausage was pulled out of a vat of juice. My first thought was the sausage would be waterlogged...and it was, to a point. Much to my surprise, it worked well. Every bite included a splash of that poblano pepper juice and it was fantastic. Five stars. Baby Back Ribs I saved the ribs for last because it was the only part of the meal that isn't getting five stars. The ribs had a softer texture than I like and the flavor was off a bit (I didn't add any extra sauce). I'd have liked to see a bit more bark as well as a stickier texture, but that doesn't mean we didn't like the ribs. I'd certainly order them again (and spoiler, I will!). Three stars. Overall, our visit to Smokehouse 91 went very well--and there's a bonus butcher shop next door. There are only about four square tables and three high tops inside, so seating is very limited. I think that's going to become a problem as word spreads about this place. We already know the parking lot is an issue, but don't let that deter you from giving this spot a try. I think you'll become a regular.

Excellent dinner this evening. People were very friendly, patient as we browsed the menu board, and answered questions. Format is order at the counter with a few tables and some high counter space. Very clean. The brisket sandwich with slaw and pickles was amazing. Great flavor and very fresh. Pulled pork was good as well. Both were overstuffed. Any meat that fell out of the sandwich allowed me to use sampling the BBQ sauce bar which had many great options. The Mac and cheese was very good . Cornbread had great flavor and tasted fresh. Overall a great meal and worth a stop if you enjoy barbecue.

I got some lean brisket, smoke turkey and greens with pulled pork. Food was good as always no complaints from me. They are very nice and clean. Change gloves a lot . Was very helpful and patient it was an older lady in front of me and she was on the phone and they worked with her to find something she would like like.

This was worth the five and a half hour drive from Indy. It started with outstanding customer service and ended with the best bbq I've ever had in my life! The ribs were competition worthy. The brisket was the most perfect brisket ever made. The turkey was so good that I almost didn't believe it was turkey. The Mac and cheese was amazing. If you live in Cleveland and you like BBQ, I don't know why you'd eat anywhere other than Smokehouse 91. It's smoked perfection!

Just had a fantastic late lunch at Smokehouse 91, and let me tell you, those five-star reviews are spot on! Having spent 15 years living and working in Texas, I make it a point to return often, and their ribs and pulled pork are straight out of a BBQ lover's dream--just like you'd find on the BBQ Trail in Northwest Austin! I tried the Babyback ribs and I can't recommend them enough. My friend had a massive pulled pork sandwich with pickles and coleslaw that was simply delicious. I also ordered their greens, which were fantastic, plus their cornbread was a real treat. Everything was top-notch! I'll definitely be heading back and even picked up some of their rub to celebrate BBQ season! The atmosphere is casual, the place is clean, and the service was excellent!

Well smoked brisket and ribs. Sides too salty. Get the fatty brisket as lean was too dry.

Overpriced and the workers are rude. Will not be coming back and believe it or not. There are better places to get barbecue then there.

First of all, the place is beautiful. You will want to stand and stare a minute when you first arrive, from the cherry blossoms overhead to the gorgeous art painted on the walls. We were welcomed immediately and seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, again this was no small task with a bit group at a very busy time. She made great recommendations and we started with several appetizers for the table: Crab rangoon Mozzarella stick, Goyza, and crunchy rice with avocado. They were all good and cooked to perfection, but the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella sticks were show stoppers. This is fun fusion at its finest, and everyone agreed we could have just lived on those. We had to put in sushi orders early as there was a bit of a backup with the kitchen, but our server did a great job of keeping us informed about the timing and made all the entrees work out so people getting hot dishes got them at the same time as people who ordered cold dishes. I had the sora roll which is another great fashion dish with a simple tempura shrimp and avocado roll upscaled by adding thin slices of wagyu beef, spicy mayo and dark sweet soy. I loved the combo. My wife had the peking duck and said it was fantastic with a good bit of flavor and a hint of kick, cooked to perfection so it didn't get dry. My son had the mushroom risotto which he said was very flavorful, and carried a bit of asian spiciness. Other people at the table had sushi, the katsu chicken, and the crab fried rice. No one was disappointed! Finally my wife and I split the smoked creme brûlée and all I can say is, you should save room for dessert because this was a fantastic spin on a classic! The only thing I would note is that it's not a quiet restaurant. Do not expect to have a hushed or private conversation here, but even with the big group I could still hear everyone, so it's not like it's ear splitting or anything. Honestly, every part of this experience impressed me and I would love to go back next time I'm in town.

This was my first time in Lobster & Pho and I was pleasantly impressed with my experience! I LOVE…read morepho and so it was great to try a place so close by and not to have to go downtown to have a good bowl of pho. The portions and price were very good! The service was very fast. Almost so fast it felt a bit rushed but it was very good and quick. Big menu with a lot of options including seafood boils which was cool to see. I was there with a friend so I do wish they gave a bit more side toppings between the two of us but we asked for more jalapenos, and they brought some out to us happily. The place itself was VERY clean and tables were always being wiped down and cleaned. Staff was also friendly. I did not care for the potstickers they were a bit mushy for me and wish they did not come sitting in the sauce as that is probably why they were a bit mushy. I really like the special they had to add them with the pho for $1.50 or you could add a thai roll I believe for a $1 so thats awesome! Overall, I had a really great experience here and I will be back. Not sure if the pho itself beats a couple places off the top of my head downtown Cleveland but if I have a craving for pho and do not want to go too far this is awesome!
