Min's Dumpling is delicious casual eatery on busy Avenida Del Mar in San Clemente where you must order the dumplings! Not only are they beautiful but they are packed with flavor. The orange chicken was perfectly prepared and I could taste the freshness that was oh so good. The staff is welcoming and attentive providing a great dining experience. Anytime you're in San Clemente, treat yourself to beautiful freshness at Min's Dumpling.

Min's dumpling is on a very cute street, if you're in the area, I would highly recommend to check out and have some light bites. Everything was decent. We had cucumber, xiaolong bao/dumplings, pot stickers and sweet piggy buns. The pot stickers are the best among them, the cover is thin, fried to perfection. Service was a little slow and they forgot 1 of my order so it took additional time for us to wait. It gives a fast casual dining vibe, but sit down wait time.

Food was fine but I am actually offended by this sauce side with my Crab Rangoon. Would I have gotten this much if I dined in?

Had a great experience here. The kitchen was bustling, and the main worker (possibly owner?) was working her butt off. She served our food and was very kind. I really enjoyed the dumplings, both the xiao long bao and the pan friend were tasty and my favorites of all the dishes. The dry string bean and orange chicken were very good as well. The inside was very clean and felt comfortable. No complaints here! Looking forward to returning when I'm in the area again :)

We haven't been here in a while and Min's is as delicious as ever! Being creatures of habit, we ordered the shrimp potstickers. There are eight to an order. How Min's differs from everywhere else I've ever been, each potsticker contains a full shrimp. Most places give you minced shrimp and, half the time, you can't find it. Because Min's uses whole shrimp, it insures you get shrimp in every potsticker bite. Min's has a sauce bar, which is exactly what it sounds like. There's vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, Sriracha, and little containers in which to mix. You are the Boss! Use as much sauce and mix it as you wish. They have various soup dumplings, appetizers, potstickers, many entrées and other offerings. Everyone can find something. If you can't, you're not trying! The restaurant is clean and bright. There are tables inside plus a small covered patio area outside.. We are so glad we had the opportunity to have lunch in San Clemente. Always Min's Dumplings!

3.5 Stars. New place, they seem to be getting their footing and have great potential. Seems like they have good recipes and use quality ingredients. Our biggest complaint is the lack of more vegetarian options. Many in our group are vegan or vegetarian and we had a couple apps and the vegan option. Some additional creative vegetarian items would be on trend and would bring more business IMO. That would bring 4.5 stars. Thanks. read more

Another authentic Chinese dumpling shop opened in San Clemente. This place is on the busy street of downtown Del Mar. Unfortunately, the price of food reflects the prime location ($3 per dumpling). The restaurant also offers typical American style Chinese dishes to match the clientele in the area such as Walnut shrimp. Food must be ordered at the counter first. Overall, I am glad that another authentic Chinese restaurant came to South OC, even though I left the restaurant not feeling full. read more

A friend told me about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try on our way home. The food was pretty good, with the exception of the burnt green beans. They didn't have the AC on, so it was quite warm and stuffy inside. Fortunately, we were able to sit outside at one of the two small tables. This place deserves a line out the door! Incredible, authentic dumplings and sides. The pork soup dumplings are some of the best I've ever had, and the pork wontons in chili oil are a must order. Min's Dumpling is something to which I have devoted myself completely. If there is anything I can do to make my guests' experience with me more pleasant, then I need to know about it. I have, all my life, cultivated an ambition to do right by the people around me. Nothing satisfies me more, than to watch my guests stream through the doors, and to see their faces when they take their first bites of my Pork Pot Stickers or Honey Walnut Shrimp. It is a dream come true.

When I came to the U.S, I was only 15 years old. My family was seeking a better life for us all. They raised me to work as hard as I could at anything undertook. I went to UC San Diego, where I studied Management Science. During my time at college. I continued to cultivate positive habit and a sturdy mindset. It is my honor to become a part of the appeal here in San Clemente. At Min's Dumpling, you can always count on a delicious, fresh, hearty meal prepared carefully and according to my timeless recipes. I source only the best ingredient for my dishes, understanding that there are no cutting corners on the path to culinary perfection. Whenever you dine with us, your satisfaction is my only priority.

My parents are old school and they'd always say, if the dishes taste the same, the place is not good. Each dish here had it's own flavor so there is great care in the preparation. The portions are also generous and we took the rest home. The staff was great! So friendly! And it was very pleasant on the patio! Definitely worth checking out! I understand they are under new ownership and I'm glad we visited after this fact. I think we would've been disappointed if it was the previous, judging from the older reviews. Crispy carnitas tacos and the hibiscus margaritas are my go-to's, and the fresh chips and salsa served gratis are always delicious and hot. Luna, Lindsay and Cesar have all been exceptional servers; their knowledge of the menu and their genuine kindness makes our visits that much more memorable. I don't often catch the name of the bussers, but they are extremely good at what they do. There's a few restaurants in town that hire staff and don't seem to train them well, so they struggle and it's apparent... but that's not the case here at Asada, where everyone is professional and really go above and beyond. It's easy to see how well their service flows (although the host stand could benefit from having people who are more outgoing; they seem to have timid people up there a lot, and it can be awkward when they're too timid to properly greet guests--just something I've noticed, having worked in restaurants before I tend to be hyper-aware of such things). My favorite section to get seated is the booths near the back which tend to be quieter, and also offer a nice view of the sky during the sunset and evening hours especially.

Unfortunately, the service was a huge letdown. Both the servers and waitstaff came across as curt, rushed, and completely disinterested. I understand it was a busy night, but that's not an excuse for making guests feel like an inconvenience. We had to repeatedly ask for our water glasses to be refilled, and overall, the service lacked the warmth and attentiveness you'd expect from a restaurant at this price point. As we were leaving, everyone in our group commented on how disappointing the service had been.
