The last time my wife and I visited Thai This was probably 10 years ago, but we'll be eating here more frequently from now on! We stopped by today with our kids and enjoyed a delicious dinner! We adults shared the spicy basil beef and garlic shrimp entrees.... WOW... the flavors were fantastic. Our kids love their noodles and decided upon pad see ew, which they proceeded to quickly devour. I noticed that the prices were somewhat higher than I typically expect for Thai food, but once we ate our meals we realized the quality, freshness, and flavors of their ingredients were worth every penny! read more

This is a hidden gem! I was at the farmers market and wanted to grab lunch before heading home. Thai This is within walking distance from the Dana Point Farmers Market. I ordered the Thai iced tea and green Thai iced tea. They're both on the sweeter side. However, the spice level is "Thai spicy" (iykyk), so the tea is a wonderful compliment to the food. For appetizer, I ordered the calamari and the summer rolls. I also got the Yum Yai salad. It was so refreshing and delicious! I recommend this salad!! For entrees, the Pad Talay (my personal favorite) and the chef special: seafood noodle. Dessert: mango sticky rice. You have to make room for the mango sticky rice! I loved the vibe here. I feel like this place should get more love. - It's a family owned business. - The food is delicious. - The restaurant is clean and quiet. -The service is impeccable. First time trying this restaurant. I always try my favorite Thai curry dish at every Thai restaurant, just to get a baseline. The salmon red curry dish at Thai this did not disappoint. The salmon was cooked well and the veggies were still crunchy and the curry was perfect. Also tried their special dish- crispy duck. Well prepared. Appetizer were the Triangles, these were good too. SO GOOD! I've passed this place so many times and we finally went today- it's smaller inside and cute. The people working there are so kind! We brought my 1 year old and they fawned over him- they gave him a capped water cup with a straw and even gave us little baby wipes after to clean him up. We shared the chicken satay- I was the only one that really liked it, my husband & dad weren't a fan of the seasoning but I liked the turmeric (maybe cinnamon?) flavor. I got the eggplant chicken- phenomenal. So hot and fresh, and packed with flavor and fresh veggies. I finished the whole thing, even the rice, and it was a very large portion but the food didn't feel overly heavy or greasy. Dad got the green curry and loved it, and my husband got the drunken noodles which I tried and those were also fantastic! Got a side of fried rice for the baby and that was a very large portion and also very good. Id highly recommend coming! We will definitely be back! read more

For all you South County Superstars, we're getting familiar with the lesser-known, but equally delicious spots in the area. If you're looking for something same-same, but different, this is kinda like the Thai equivalent of Canto-American food, but Thai-American....you get what I mean. We got some thai tea and green thai tea to share too! Look how pretty these are! I'd definitely get these if you're looking for a sweet treat, and maybe along with some caffeine too! Anyways, onto the food. We got quite a few dishes, so hold on to your seats. First off, we got some fried triangles...no really! These guys were great. Filled with shrimp, fish, avocado, and fried to perfection. Yummy, delicious, texture all over. Mmm. Coconut soup next? Yeah, let's get it. Tom Kha, which is sour, creamy, and smooth! Ushy gushy, in a good way! After, we got the main event! Drunken noodles and yellow curry. Wowzers. Don't forget to order this spicy if you want it. We picked a three out of five for spiciness, and it was actually a good medium. Go harder if you want, but this was a great start for us. Those drunken noodles were texturally soft, but also had that pan saute'd feel. I'd go with this if you're new to thai food! Next the yellow curry. It was super comforting and warm. I was in Dana Point and wanted to try some Thai food and I came to the right place :) I ordered the nutty noodle (sub chicken w tofu) and it was delicious. The peanut sauce tasted like savory peanut butter (I'm obsessed) and the tempura veggies were yummy as well! This is a very cozy restaurant nested in southern OC. If you are a local you know how long this restaurant has been in our town. To be honest probably the only best in south OC near the beaches. Just in Dana point for the night as part of a girls' art getaway, worth going off PCH to find this small space in mini mall. K loved the duck, while my sister and I shared the pad see ew and red curry, really nice spice level in the curry the way they usually do it, a 2. They forgot to leave the sweet peppers out of the curry, apologized and quickly got a new dish out. The woman who served us was so nice and friendly, big bonus points running after us to give me my credit card! We got sticky rice with mango to go, couldn't finish our dishes despite being quite hungry. It was good, with a pudding and less coconut sauce or flavor than I am used to. read more

The food we had was terrific and we ordered a variety of chicken, coconut soup, pork jowls, and a salad. All of it, was just outstanding. The dishes were fresh, spicy appropriate, and plentiful. I didn't pay for the meal, but the price didn't appear that exorbitant. Overall, terrific food. Nice, friendly people, and the pricing seemed appropriate.
