After being a monthly customer for 7+ years, I'm done with this place. Dining in person is frustrating if you like customer service. You literally have to wave them down for refills, or remind for sauces, etc. one time it took 15 minutes from when we asked for a check to get the bill. Then another 10 for them to pick it up, so we got up and took it to the front register. Ordering takeout is even worse. They hand you a receipt to sign and tip them for...well I don't know why they expect a tip. Every visit I ask for several types of sauces and or utensils, they are ALWAYS skimping out. If I order 3 entrees and I ask for hot sauce, I should be given enough hot sauce for my order. Skinny short haired lady hands me 3 ketchup size packets for 3 entrees max. The final straw was on a takeout order when I see the typical "3 sauces for 3 entrees" and I ask as usual for more sauces, the lady has the audacity to give me 1 more and then turns around not saying bye. I go to my car and per usual they forget all utensils. I go back in and the lady is visibly mad I'm back, I ask for utensils and she gives me 2 (bro I always order 3 entrees, it's for 3 people). I ask for one more and she scoffs but gives me the third. Then says "do you need anything else?" Yes ma'am, I need you to learn customer service if you're front of house. This is our favorite Thai restaurant for take out, but our food wasn't up to the usual stellar taste. The egg roll wrappers were crispy on the outside, but were too thick or not fried enough. The chicken filling was perfect. The Panang curry was too spicy. I asked for medium spice, but there were pieces of whole chilis, not just flakes. Next time I will ask for less spice. I've tried others and always come back to the best. Got Tom Ka coconut bowl with tofu so yummy and tasty in a cold day. The pad see ew with veggies is delicious. Non dairy and rich flavored. Dined for lunch. Fast friendly service. Large lunch menu. Booths and tables available. Very well laid out dinner restaurant. Not too bright. My coworker and I both ordered Crying Tiger. It was his first time and he said more than once how good it was. I always order it if I see it on the menu. No two crying together sauces are alike. Everyone makes their own recipe. This one was green , sweet and spicy. The beef steak was grilled perfectly medium and the veggies were fresh. The peanut salad dressing was also very good. Haven't been here for a while. The last few weeks, we kept on going to the same restaurants that we dined at frequently with the family, so decided to look for something different. Thai Bite turned up on our search and we just realized we forgot about them the last few years. I had the chicken curry with potatoes and cashew nut and that was good. My husband ordered the chicken pad Thai and the noodles were actually overcooked and somewhat mushy. :( Pad Thai noodles should be more chewy. That was disappointing. Thai Bite is a great local restaurant. We typically start with the satay (beef - good and chicken - great). My favorite item on the menu is always the Thai Wonton Soup - this a 10/10 for me. It is filled with steak, spinach, big doughy wontons and more veggies. Hot and delicious. We also like the Pad Thai. Great noodles. Whatever you do, make sure to save a little room for their mango sticky rice for dessert. If you've never had mango sticky rice before, then you absolutely need to try it. Excellent food, lunch portions were plenty and we shared a few dishes - Panang curry, pad Thai, and a coconut shrimp soup (not sure the name). The pad Thai had chicken and tofu which was great and had so much flavor - we really liked that it was fully mixed instead of the vegetables being placed on top or to the side like most places do. Tonight was my first experience with Thai Bite. We had take out. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, Thai Fried Rice with chicken, Massaman (Mussaman) Curry with chicken, and Larb with beef. Everything we ordered was good, fresh, and tasty, and we have plenty of leftovers! The Larb was the only disappointment. In the past when I have had larb the meat, whether beef or chicken, is always finely ground andnis accompanied by a crunchy rice with a subtle hint of mint. This larb beef was not ground and was VERY tough to chew, as well as lacking the usual toasted rice. Disappointing, really. I might eat here again but I would probably try a different Thai place first, one that has a higher Yelp rating than Thai Bite. Overall good, not great. read more

Picked up a late lunch order, and I was quite surprised. The lunch special is a lot of food for a great price. We got the tofu panang curry and lemon chicken specials. My friends and myself are regulars. We've enjoyed quite a few great nights with parties of 5+ without any issues. It's been 2 months since our last visit and they've taken a turn for the worse. Service was slow. Three different servers worked on our table. Each dish came out separately not all together. We were assured by our waitress, everything will come out at once. When we asked for an extra little container of salad dressing it showed up as a $1.50 extra on the bill. The waitress refused to take it off the bill, so we won't be coming back anytime soon. I do have my favorites: pad see ew, and I love Khao phat sapparot- pineapple fried rice. I do like other dishes also. I order the pineapple rice and pad see ew and satay. I think one other dish too. Far Beyond Expectations! Phoned in a take-out order. Person who took my order was courteous and efficient. Ordered Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup (tofu) and the Gaeng Kari (Yellow Curry) with Scallops. Requested a "2" out of "5" on the spiciness scale to accommodate stomachs wanting to keep on the mild side. Upon arrival for pick-up, the food was in a bag on the counter, but the person behind the counter noted that a little of the soup had leaked out, and so it was quickly replaced and re-bagged. This day I was exhausted from work just es red to pick up and eat at home. I asked for chilli paste... they wanted to give me siracha .... That's not the same thing. Visited for the first time with a large group was pleasantly surprised with the menu, from items that are hot to items that are mild, the variety and the cost of each item, I had Crying Tiger, which was excellently prepared the meat was prime quality not choice and no grizzle to be found and if you are looking for a Thai restaurant, I would recommend this one. One of the better Thai places especially considering its in South County. Although its a little pricey at least the portions are pretty generous. Panang curry is one of their better dishes. Unlike most Thai places, the beef is large stewed chunks instead of the usual thin slices. Also the pad thai is quite tasty with a variety of veggies instead of just the noodles. Decent size menu, not to many "ethnic " thai items besides the usual curries, noodles, fried rice etc, the dishes are well put together and the taste is pretty on point.
