Our experience at Thai Paradise was disappointing. Once we were seated, our waitress, a young lady, took our order and we noticed she wasn't very friendly. I had a few questions about items being vegetarian and she acted annoyed. Her unfriendly demeanor continued throughout meal when we asked for napkins, straw, chili sauce... We came here on a Thursday afternoon for some takeout and the restaurant was completely empty. The interior is pretty small and it seems like a lot of people were getting take out. Service was fast, but the staff workers were quite down and seemed uninterested. For the food, we ordered the pad kee mow and red curry noodles to go. Both dishes were good! Nothing special though. I'm a plumber I drove out here from Culver city for a plumbing call but my customer rescheduled last minute vs turning around I decided to have dinner out this way. The food is very delicious! I ordered the shrimp fried rice the angel wings and a small shrimp tum yum soup everything was very fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly I can tell they care about their customers the space is limited as far as seating but the best places to eat are normally like that. Well executed Thai dishes that taste home cooked but served up fast. We stopped by on our way to San Diego. We were looking for something that would be a quick stop but didn't want fast food and Thai Paradise did not disappoint! Lunch specials were reasonably priced with good sized portions. We ordered the pad Thai, pineapple curry, sweet sour chicken and panang curry lunch specials. My husband said that he wouldn't order the sweet and sour chicken again; sauce was sitting more on top of the chicken instead of being incorporated into it. The rest of us were more than satisfied with our dishes. Restaurant is a bit cramped and dated though clean. Restroom clean, outdoors and shared by other shops. We will add this to our restaurant route when driving to visit family in SD. read more

I had a chicken pad thai and 17 ginger with bamboo coupled with vegetarian rolls, and spring rolls It was a perfect meal for 2 to 3 people. The flavor was wonderful my chicken pod Thai. Was it four stars in terms of spiciness, and let me tell you that was well more than enough lol. I feel horrible giving a one star review, but not as horrible as our experience having dinner here. We will never be going back. We used to go 10 years ago and it was honestly great. The food was terrible, don't get the bison it tasted like breakfast sausage and no vegetables. We honestly thought we were being punked the entire time. The young gal that works there was actually rude and we almost just left because of her before the food. She kept rolling her eyes and it was really uncomfortable. Basically a "wtf do you want?" attitude. Actually pretty much everyone there looked and acted sad or like they were forced to be there. Then the "music" was uncomfortably loud, we couldn't talk, then I asked 3x and 3 different people to turn it down, and then someone would come out from the back and crank it back up lol. It was ridiculous. "Ambience" is cheesy but that doesn't bother me at all. Food and service were terrible, we don't recommend. I feel like they're only open because of door dash, pick up orders. My friend and I were craving Thai food after a beach day. I did a quick Yelp search and came across Thai Paradise, and I'm so glad that I did! I think I've found my new go to Thai spot whenever I'm in south OC. The food and service were great! Our server Bud was so friendly and attentive. We got the chicken pad thai, seafood panang curry, and seafood green curry. The chicken pad thai was delicious and had a lot of chicken. Some places make pad thai way too saucy, sweet, and the noodles come out soggy. That was not the case here. The noodles were cooked perfectly, it had a lot chicken, and the seasoning was done right. Both the curries with seafood had so much flavor and good quality seafood. It was a flavor explosion! It's probably one of the best curries I've had throughout the OC. Like the food but I'm a big fan of potstickers and their potstickers don't taste great. I feel lukewarm they order them frozen but I dont know that yo be true they just are not very and I'd bet money they come out if a box and frozen. Love lots of other fishes though so it's ok.
