Our experience at Thai Paradise was disappointing. Once we were seated, our waitress, a young lady, took our order and we noticed she wasn't very friendly. I had a few questions about items being vegetarian and she acted annoyed. Her unfriendly demeanor continued throughout meal when we asked for napkins, straw, chili sauce... She knocked over our beer when she brought an item and barely seemed to care. The food was very good however, the service could definitely improve. We stopped by Thai Paradise for a quick dinner pickup since it was conveniently located along our route. It's a small, no-frills place that wasn't too crowded when we visited. We tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Red Curry, and Tofu Pad See Ew. The flavors were decent--nothing standout, but nothing bad either. I'd rate the taste around 3-3.5/5. Portion sizes were generous, and the pricing felt reasonable for the area--definitely a plus (4/5). Parking was super convenient, which is always appreciated (5/5). Service was fine, though for a pickup order, I wish they'd either include utensils or at least ask if I needed any--minor, but worth mentioning (3/5). All in all, I'd give this place about a 3.25/5. I'm a plumber I drove out here from Culver city for a plumbing call but my customer rescheduled last minute vs turning around I decided to have dinner out this way. The food is very delicious! I ordered the shrimp fried rice the angel wings and a small shrimp tum yum soup everything was very fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly I can tell they care about their customers the space is limited as far as seating but the best places to eat are normally like that. To anyone reading my review just try it you'll be happy you did! I will definitely be back even if I have to drive 2 hours again it's worth it!!! read more

If you're looking for a simple neighborhood Thai place, this is great! But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. We came here on a Thursday afternoon for some takeout and the restaurant was completely empty. The interior is pretty small and it seems like a lot of people were getting take out. Service was fast, but the staff workers were quite down and seemed uninterested. For the food, we ordered the pad kee mow and red curry noodles to go. Both dishes were good! Nothing special though. They did have a lot of flavor and I enjoyed it. Overall, I would come again if I was in the area and wanted some fast food. read more

Well executed Thai dishes that taste home cooked but served up fast. We stopped by on our way to San Diego. We were looking for something that would be a quick stop but didn't want fast food and Thai Paradise did not disappoint! Lunch specials were reasonably priced with good sized portions. We ordered the pad Thai, pineapple curry, sweet sour chicken and panang curry lunch specials. My husband said that he wouldn't order the sweet and sour chicken again; sauce was sitting more on top of the chicken instead of being incorporated into it. The rest of us were more than satisfied with our dishes. Restaurant is a bit cramped and dated though clean. Restroom clean, outdoors and shared by other shops. We will add this to our restaurant route when driving to visit family in SD. read more

Such a happy surprise! This is a low key place with great food. I've had takeout and the service is great and the food is awesome--which you can't always say about takeout. Based on Yelp recommendations I tried the chicken curry and it surpassed expectations. The Pad Thai is good as well and both dishes have a lot of depth to the flavor. So glad I found them. read more

We really enjoyed the meal. The Spicy Eggplant and Tom Ka Gai were my personal favorites. Everyone loved the other dishes. Yellow curry, Pad see Ew, Crab fried rice and Pad Thai were incredible. I love comin San Clemente, one thing and stopping off and getting Thai food for takeout. I had a chicken pad thai and 17 ginger with bamboo coupled with vegetarian rolls, and spring rolls It was a perfect meal for 2 to 3 people. The flavor was wonderful my chicken pod Thai. Was it four stars in terms of spiciness, and let me tell you that was well more than enough lol. This is my 100th review!! Our local Thai spot in Laguna shut down and we haven't been able to find a good new spot until now! This was a delicious dinner for three. Great Thai food. My advice is only do to-go. I'm giving a low rating because I dined in and after having barely touched my curry, I asked for a to go box. She brought me one that was way too small so I asked for a bigger container and instead of bringing me another container, she took my food in the back and came back with the one tiny container filled up. I feel horrible giving a one star review, but not as horrible as our experience having dinner here. We will never be going back. We used to go 10 years ago and it was honestly great. The food was terrible, don't get the bison it tasted like breakfast sausage and no vegetables. We honestly thought we were being punked the entire time. The young gal that works there was actually rude and we almost just left because of her before the food. She kept rolling her eyes and it was really uncomfortable. Basically a "wtf do you want?" attitude. Actually pretty much everyone there looked and acted sad or like they were forced to be there. Then the "music" was uncomfortably loud, we couldn't talk, then I asked 3x and 3 different people to turn it down, and then someone would come out from the back and crank it back up lol. It was ridiculous. "Ambience" is cheesy but that doesn't bother me at all. Food and service were terrible, we don't recommend. I feel like they're only open because of door dash, pick up orders. Dine at your own risk. Literally go anywhere else. read more

I was looking for a good Thai place for my local friends from Dana point. They had never tried Thai Paradise, so I was excited to share my experience with them. The food was outstanding as I have always come to expect. It was nice to share this great food with the unfortunately the staff seemed very sad and depressed. Hands down the best Thai food in the OC. Nothing comes close. Order the Tom Yum with Shrimp. Spicy level 4 is just right. Then get the pad Thai with shrimp and you are set. Nothing else needed unless you like Thai iced tea which is very tasty. Can't wait to come back! read more

My friend and I were craving Thai food after a beach day. I did a quick Yelp search and came across Thai Paradise, and I'm so glad that I did! I think I've found my new go to Thai spot whenever I'm in south OC. The food and service were great! Our server Bud was so friendly and attentive. We got the chicken pad thai, seafood panang curry, and seafood green curry. The chicken pad thai was delicious and had a lot of chicken. Some places make pad thai way too saucy, sweet, and the noodles come out soggy. That was not the case here. The noodles were cooked perfectly, it had a lot chicken, and the seasoning was done right. Both the curries with seafood had so much flavor and good quality seafood. It was a flavor explosion! It's probably one of the best curries I've had throughout the OC. Overall, my friend and I were happy with the experience and we will be back! read more

Like the food but I'm a big fan of potstickers and their potstickers don't taste great. I feel lukewarm they order them frozen but I dont know that yo be true they just are not very and I'd bet money they come out if a box and frozen. Love lots of other fishes though so it's ok. Did not know this place was here in the same shopping center as where I get my hair done but asked a local if they had any good suggestions for lunch and they suggested this place. I ordered the Thom Yum soup and now I have to go back regularly to get it. My husband ordered the bison rice dish and it was really good. Definitely worth a try. read more
