I have to give major kudos to the staff here. I bought a Groupon for a brake job I thought I needed and it's rare to tie "honesty" with "auto repair shops" let's be honest. For an unexpected reason my wait ended up being longer then usual, but I must say how impressed I am with this place and the outstanding customer service given by the Service Advisor Richie! He took complete ownership of the issue, even though it was not his fault, and that is an extremely admirable and rare quality! They serviced my car and went above and beyond in making it up to me! I found myself at Midas last week when I had unexpected car problems.... We've all been there- you barely manage get your car to the place and sit there just hoping it's nothing expensive, casually checking your account balances to see how you'll pay for whatever catastrophe has struck your vehicle.... Luckily, Midas was awesome- they got me right in first thing on a Monday morning. The person helping me (I think his name was Chris?)was super nice and funny-- not once did they try to sell me anything or freak me out about my car. They ran a diagnostic, concluded all I needed was a new battery and sent me on my way - even helped me out with the yelp discount when I mentioned it. All at a really great price I might add. I live nearby and over the years I've ended up here 3 times--and it's always been the same great experience. And coming from me that means a lot- I HATE car places- I always feel like they're trying to rip me off. That has never happened here. They are officially my new car go to place. read more

I sat an appointment but still took over 2 hours for oil change and tire alignment. The service guys left black dirt marks all over inside my car, leaving the streering wheel and inside door handle dirty. The lobby waiting area is old and needs renovation. I didn't trust the tire work they did so I took it to discount tire for another rotation. read more

Great experience here. Just went in for a basic oil change but I had to reschedule my appt two times. However, Chris and Andrew were bogging but understanding, patient and courteous. When I went in they were positive and kept things light making my overall experience great. Not only that but they got my car serviced quickly and had it done by the time was back from the gym. I had an initial telephone encounter with this Midas that wasn't good however James the store manager contacted me shortly after and made it up to me with a full synthetic oil change and they did a great job, treated me very well, and were quicker than I expected! These guys really impressed me today. I looked at my tires that were wearing unevenly and thought I needed to get new ones ASAP. They priced me some tires and then got my car on the lift to give it a look. They called me back and said that I only really needed an alignment. They easily could've pushed the new tires on me but they let me know with an alignment job these should last another 15-20K miles. This saved me over $500. Hard to find honesty like that from anywhere these days, let alone from a mechanic. Much appreciated guys, will be back for sure. read more

Probably the biggest scam I've ever been to. I went in for a routine oil change this morning (which after an hour and fifteen minutes they weren't done with). Which begs the question... Why did I bother making an appointment? The attendant came out with a whole list of things that were "wrong" with my car. He then went on to tell me that my car wasn't even safe to drive home. I'm now sitting a Just Brakes- because it was time for new break pads, but definitely wasn't as detrimental as Midas made it sound. The nice man at Just Brakes gave me a real evaluation and basically flat out said that Midas was lying. Don't use their services because they will scare you and they just want you to buy their services and repairs. Never again! read more

Richie and the whole staff at Midas have been taking great care of me and my car! Finding out I had to get a whole front hub assembly AND that when I blew my tire it ripped through my ABS sensor cable was rough, but they've been so helpful and making sure they find me the best deals. And it's been extremely fast! Originally thought it would take a couple hours to get the parts and complete the repairs, but Richie made a couple calls and an hour and a half later they're done. Had a coupon for $17.99 oil change. Guy said it would be a few dollars more because of my vehicle. Never mentioned how much the "extra" was going to be. I went to pay and it came out to $29.15 after tax. Seems that few dollars ended up being more like 7-8 before tax was included. Also heard him very angry on phone with someone. I was sitting in waiting room and he was slamming phone down, slamming drawers, etc. I guess if you got to do that in the course of business that's fine, but not while you have customers in the waiting room. Got out to my car and the mechanic failed to realize when he grabbed my door handle with his oily hands, he got it all dirty and oily. So when I go to open it, I didn't think to check my handle for oil. Anyways, I guess you get what you pay for. Probably won't be going back. read more

I was in the middle of a busy work day driving all day to different medical offices to work on computers and networks when my Accord's spark plug #3 got gunked up from the Eco Mode again. I stopped at 3 different places to see if someone could install the spark plug I had purchased - they were all too busy to help me out. Until I found Richie Schilk, a Service Advisor, at Midas. This kid was actually double-timing to and from the shop to grab tools to help me out on a very hot day. He took the extra time to advise me how to save some money and changed the spark plug for me. Well, since Richie went out of his way to give me a big hand, I believe I'll take my car to this particular Midas shop when I need repairs. Richie was excellent and deserves a promotion! Had an appointment at 10am. Arrived at 10am with no one there. Asked about windshield wipers and they said that they can instal them for me. After an hour and 45 minutes I asked if there was a problem. I waited over 2 hours to be told that they don't have the right clips for my car and that they had to get them delivered. If they told me that in the beginning I wouldn't have waited so long to get them delivered. For windshield wipers?! Then they arrived and I waited 2hours 30 minutes total just to be told that the windshield wipers don't fit. 150 minutes waiting around for an oil change. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

Went into Midas the other day to get new brake pads. I had purchased a Groupon and was advised by midas personnel to hold off on redeeming it until they verified that I needed to replace them. It turned out I did need new brake pads and they changed them in a timely manner. Very happy with the service I received and will definitely be taking my car to them for other car maintenances. read more

Had to take my SUV in for several issues. James and Timothy were awesome and got my SUV fixed at a very reasonable price and on the same day - without an appointment. Basically ended up paying only $100 more than I would have paid at a tire shop and got my brake lights fixed, my wheels aligned, 4 new tires, an oil change and a full diagnostic scan. Looks like we have found a new mechanic for our car! I love the customer service and I listened to them with several other customers and was impressed with their attitude and prices. I am the original owner of vehicle and it has never leaked oil. Went in for simple oil change I got from Groupon. Left store and drove home. Luckily, I left vehicle in street because next day there was a large puddle of oil underneath engine (size of a dinner plate that made a mess of clean street). It looked as though the technician did not remove the skid plate when dumping the old oil, which got all over the undercarriage and pooled above the skid plate. Called Manger (James). Told him of problem. He said technicians do not always remove skid plate. He told me to bring it in (very inconvenient to have to bring it in a second time). The moment I arrived, James said he checked the video footage and verified that the technician did not remove the skid plate when draining the old oil. James said the store has a written policy that writes removing skid plates is an added cost. I was appalled that the store would have such a policy and asked for a print-out. James said he would provide me with a print-out. I was also appalled that the technician made an absolute mess of my undercarriage and street with the drained oil. James then came back to me and said I had a previous oil leak and he could not determine if the oil leak on the undercarriage of my car and street came from his technician dumping the old oil all over my skid plate. After telling James I did not have an oil leak until I brought my vehicle to him, James said he was done helping me. I asked James for his skid plate policy. James said he wasn't going to show it to me, which suggested he lied about that. Midas did a poor job by not taking the time to remove my skid plate. In doing so, oil leaked all over my vehicle's undercarriage and onto my street. I had to take a half day to bring my vehicle back to Midas. Then, instead of taking responsibility for the poor work, James lied to me, and then refused responsibility. This incident is a poor example of professionalism and care. I will never do business at Midas again. read more
